I did say I'd be back! Just didn't know it would be this long. Long story short, this place rules. One of the best places to watch a game with the family that I've ever been to. Fun friendly crowd too - I was rooting against the Seahawks and nobody was bothered. Giant screen for sports, several free games (which is great for the kids). Also a lot of pinball and a few arcade titles. Counter ordering for drinks and food. They run with a light crew so there is usually a line and a wait for your food - it's worth it. If you're looking for the ultimate spot on the mountain, Pub 26 is it! We live about 25 minutes away, but we happily make the drive every time because it is consistently worth it. I just had the best fried chicken sandwich of my life here--perfectly crispy and flavorful. Their burgers and fries are also top-tier and always hit the spot. The drinks are just as impressive; unlike most places, they make handmade margaritas using fresh lemon, lime, triple sec, and tequila (of course) You can really taste the quality! They also have a fantastic selection of local beer on tap. It's the perfect atmosphere to catch a game. With a giant projection screen and plenty of TVs, there truly isn't a bad seat in the house. Plus, they have a pool table, ping pong, and old-school pinball along with other games. We've also heard they serve an excellent breakfast with homemade biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches--we haven't tried it yet, but we can't wait to come back for it! Went here recently to grab food with some friends around 3pm on a weekend. It was dead in there (I wonder why) and waited 15 minutes just for the server to greet us (meanwhile I spotted them shooting the shit with other employees during this time). After ordering, drinks took waaaaay too long to make and serve, along with the food! Must have been there for nearly 2 hours- 15 minutes waiting for service, 15 minutes for drinks, 40 minutes for food and another 40 minutes for the check! Could not believe it. Just had a quick lunch here after snowshoeing on a Saturday. Pretty empty maybe one other table. We sat at the bar and were verbally told the menu and they had a happy hour option for two chicken sliders and fries for $8. My friend wasn't driving so she had a beer and we didn't want anything too big. So we split the sliders. I could have eaten both but it was perfect for a light lunch to split. I really liked the chicken sandwich it was juicy and good flavor. Fries were basic but good. You can get other types of fries with other meals. They had some homemade pastries that looked really good but will try another time. The atmosphere is total blacked out style bar with no windows looking out and louder music. Had lunch here, ordered hot wings ,asked if they was deep fried and server said yes. I ask if I could get them cooked crispy. She said absolutely. They came under cooked ,I ate a few bites, of the wings but not the legs. Got extremely sick with food poisoning so bad for 2 days. Did call talked to server she was very appogetic and she wanted my number to give to the owner and that they would give me a call. I didn't ask for my money back or nothing. Went here to play some pool and grab a beer and wings. Only one billiard table available as the other is converted into a ping pong table, but it wasn't super busy and we got to play some foosball and ping pong while waiting. There's a good selection of beer and it's not all IPAs thankfully. Ordered some buffalo wings and enjoyed them, good sauce with some black pepper cooked in with it. Very tasty. Also ordered a "Smash Burger " which was your basic cheeseburger with 1000 island dressing,pickles and onions. Hot and juicy, pretty good, but nothing special. Some of the best chicken wings ever! I ordered them dry with hot sauce on the side. Very large and so succulent. They rival Blue Pine Grill, which up until now, couldn't be matched. Service is always friendly and helpful. Music is good, though a little loud. Still, great place to go. Don't get turned off by the blacked out windows. I would give this place a higher rating of it wasn't for their terrible ordering process. They don't want to pay for servers, so they make customers stand in line at the bar and wait until the bartender has a second between serving drinks and chatting with bar-flies to take your order. The line takes FOREVER if it's a busy night. Their menu is ok but really limited, and they are inflexible about substitutions or changes. You bus your own table, and you wipe it down if you want to use it. For the prices they charge for their meals, it's the least they could do. Next time in zigzag a must stop for amazing food and beer!! We stopped after 18 holes at the Mt Hood resort. Free pool which is one of the many perks. We ordered fried Chichen Sandwich you must have this truly delicious! Turbo tots with jalapeños, cheese and chill hit the spot. The beer 805 from Firestone breweries on tap! Oh yes. Had dinner there last night they were very busy with the Jake Paul/Tyson event. 4 of us ordered dinner, 3 of us got their meals I did not, we let them know right away. Given the business level it was understandable that an order could not be filled, one would expect them to get right on cooking my burger, yes smash burger which might take 10 minutes to cook. Instead they made at least 8 other meals meals , whatever else they had orders for before cooking mine. I got my food 40 minutes after everyone at the table had eaten, 50 or so minutes after we let them know they had forgotten my order. They then charged me for it , never said they were sorry, and after I made a small remark I got a joke back from the bartender, I think owner that is stupid as a fence post. I'll never go back, and if I could give zero stars I would. I'm not myopic enough to think that I might make a difference to his business, but as stupid as he is he will do it to others. read more

The info on the website was seriously lacking, and no phone number, but reviews were good and said they allowed minors til 9pm so we took our teens at 8:05pm for a quick dinner. After practically begging to get a server's attention we were told that the minor cutoff was 8pm, and they didn't seem to care that Yelp said otherwise or that we had three hungry teens in tow. Short summary: cool local bar that recently opened with exceptional service and great drinks. My husband and I just came for the first time (they only opened a couple of months ago!) and we will be back... a lot! The atmosphere was classier than a lot of the other bars/restaurants in the area, but not in a snobby way. Felt very welcoming and friendly. Love this place. Excellent food, decent choice of beer but the customer service was excellent. Because of this, I've been here several times already. Often after a hike or off roading adventure. I've had their burger a few times and it's one of my favorites. I was disappointed when they were closed for a day. They did miss out on a few of my friends going there with me.
