Lack of communication from the business. Ordered the flowers via their website on Tuesday to be delivered to the recipient on Saturday. No show, no notification from them. I called, i emailed... nothing. Flower arrangement was delivered Monday. I got a call from them letting me know it was delivered but that courtesy call was way too late! If i had known they couldn't deliver on the specific day I requested then I should've made plans with other merchants. read more

I am so thankful for the sweet ladies at Sandy's ! I wanted some pretty fall flowers for my mothers birthday but thought of it at the last minute ! I called the shop after lunch on Friday and asked if they had any arrangements made that I could choose from . They didn't but said although they were very busy they'd be glad to put together a couple for me to choose from! My husband actually was driving to the beach and was going to pass their shop within the hour . I called back and let them know and paid in advance . My husband sent me a photo of the flowers which he described as "Pretty".... my mom loves them . I had expressed concern over the heaviness of the arrangement (my mom is 80 and had just had surgery on her hand ) and the ladies at Sandy's were thoughtful enough to put it in a plastic vase . The only negative at all was that the vase was a bit warped and the flowers were just top heavy enough that the arrangement tends to want to tip over . But we figured out how to stabilize it when we got it to her home . Sadly, Sandy's was our choice for a destination wedding last month. I would give Zero Stars if possible. The business was unprofessional and did not follow our agreed upon choice of flowers, colors, vases, or size of arrangements. We had a wonderful wedding in spite of the immediate disappointment and drama brought about by this company. They may be good for a flower delivery, but I WOULD NOT hire them for your dream day wedding. I did reach out to this company to try to rectify the breach of contract and reimburse us, but they chose not to respond. read more

This is a sweet little family owned and operated flower shop. They have a nice selection of houseplants and dish gardens. They will design anything you ask and also had some really nice cash and carry arrangements in their front cooler. They rent tuxedos and such and also have some unique home decor items for sale. We chose Sandy's Flower Shoppe for our wedding flowers, and I would say our experience was mediocre. The table runner we ordered ended up being multiple feet shorter than what we paid for. We had to remind them that we added on cake flowers, although it had been previously confirmed at our consultation. We also gave them one of our dogs collars to build a flower collar on. It didn't end up being used. They didn't bring it when they delivered our flowers, and it was a headache to get it back (i.e. we were told multiple times they would get back with us and we kept having to reach out). I also asked for none of our flowers to be white, and we ended with with pink roses in the corsages. I will say their flowers are beautiful, and they do a good job! Just know, this is a vendor you will have to be on top of to get what you ask for. read more

Ordered flowers for my daughters wedding almost 8 months in advance. Two weeks before the wedding we were told, they could not get them. Sandy offered silk flowers to replace the one we were not getting, we asked that if they were doing that don't mix them. Day of wedding, yep she mixed them. One silk flower, one real Lilly in a vase with water. I was not a happy dad so I let the delivery person know. Told hi that I would drive to New Bern before buying flowers from them again. Drive goes back to the store and tells Mommy that I was mean to him, she has the nerve to call me and give me a lecture about being mean to her son. Really? You in business, grow a pair and deal with the fact that not everyone will love you. First she told me that if I don't like the flowers she will take them back, on the wedding day..WTF. She came to the house and looked at them and told me how grew they looked, would expect you to say anything less. I have been a customer of Sandy's Flower Shoppe for over 5 years. Every year my wife & I travel to Pine Knoll Shores to spend the week of Labor Day. Incidentally, my wife's birthday typically falls during the same week. I have ordered numerous arrangements for my wife from Sandy's & not once have I (we) ever been disappointed. They always delivered the flowers to our hotel prior to our arrival, which is a great surprise for my wife. Keep up the great work! read more

I ordered Mother's Day flowers to be delivered the day before, as they were closed on Mother's Day. When I found out my mother didn't receive them, I called Sandy's and was told they left them on the wrong porch, because I told them in my order it was ok to leave flowers if no one was home. Of course, I meant it was ok if you have the correct address. I was then told they could deliver them later that day, (this was already post Mother's Day), "if they had time." If not, it would have to be the following day. I told them to forget about it. I was truly disappointed in the lack of concern and weak apology I received. I had to ask for my money back, because they had no intentions of making that offer. I will never order from them again. read more

The BEST and FRIENDLIEST flower shop I have ever encountered. I was looking for a lei to give my daughter on graduation. I contacted the local store in my area and they were sold out. I then looked on Yelp and found Sandy's Flower shop. All the ratings I reviewed were top notch and 5 star. Although, Sandy's was 25 minutes away I decided to contact them. They owner stated they should be able to come up with something and it would be complete on my arrival. When I arrived the lei was not complete, which was a good thing. The owner and myself had two seperate ideas of what the lei was going to be used for. Well, no worries...her daughter sprung into action and came up with an idea and asked me if I could come back in about 20 min. They apologized for the misunderstanding, but I was grateful, after all I needed the lei for that NIGHT. I came back and it was beautiful especially on short notice. Sandy never said I can't and I want, they just did it! I will definitely come back but I will make sure it's not short notice, again . This place is amazing. They have always delivered fabulous bouquets but today they want above and beyond. My husband waited to the last minute to place an order for his mother, but Sandy's Flower Shop did an excellent job. Within an hour of him calling them my mother-in-law received the most beautiful bouquet she has ever seen. I have been ordering flowers from Sandy's for about 3 years. I live on the opposite side of the country from my mother and I never knew what to get her for gifts until I found Sandy's. Now, I send flowers for every holiday. They always do a great job! I sent my mother flowers again this year for her birthday and she wrote to me: "Sandy always does a great job for you.
