What is left of a huge plate of paella de Carne
    Barry H.

On the way here I remembered that I brought my boss (and friend) here, many years before. We had an equally great meal then. Tonight, with my wife and four friends, what a spectacular evening. And all due to Juan, who took some amazingly good care of us. He saw to everything that we wanted, and even a few things that we might not have known that we wanted. I mean wow; the music, the drinks, the paella! This is an excellent restaurant if you're seeking a Spanish fusion supper. Authentic enough and nothing short of delicious. We enjoyed a grande skillet of paella de carne and un portion regular of the paella de mariscos (shellfish). And all the while Juan entertained us with his attentive, very good-natured tableside "service." This is a man who makes a good restaurant excelente! The margaritas and wonderful and the sangria is flavorful. You can't go wrong with whatever you drink. Gracias a Dios por Sangarita's!!

Sangaritas is one of my favorite spots for delicious food and great drinks. They have amazing service and I love taking everyone I know there.

$30 brunch including entree and bottomless (mimosa+sangria+Bloody Mary? I think) anyways came here solo. Steak and eggs were really good. Home fries, ehhhh basic, more like simple potatoes. Sangria really good; only could manage two. I'm *slightly* a light weight. Little croissants came warm and sooo good. Will definitely be adding this to my solo date spots. I imagine bringing a friend would be cool too. Latin music playing, which to me is a vibe. Walkable distance from LIRR so always a bonus for me. Server was friendly and food came quickly.

We came here for a light dinner after an event and this review is just for their tapas since we didn't order drinks, entrees or dessert. It was a Monday night and plenty of seating when we came in around 730pm so we were immediately seated. We landed on a ceviche, Cubano sliders and chicken tacos - the sliders were decent but everything else was lacking flavor in our opinion, especially the chicken seasoning on the tacos. I've also had much fresher ceviche at other spots so this just didn't do it for me. I will say our server was excellent and everyone was friendly.... will maybe give it another try next time we're in the area and craving Spanish food.

My wife could not spend Mother's Day with our son because we were off in Seattle, so Bob took us for a makeup brunch in his Bayside neighborhood. We were greeted like visiting royalty by Juan the owner. I had planned on trying the paella, but couldn't pass up the brunch with its promise of unlimited mimosas. We decided, wisely, to pass on appetizers and get right to the brunch. I thought I was ordering light with a fruit covered waffle, but it was exactly the right amount of food. Two of us had waffles, Donna had avocado tostada, and our son had a croque monsieur. It was all excellent, and the servers were quick to replenish our drinks. Just enough room for churros with whipped cream and fruit. I dropped a hint that I wouldn't mind coming back for Father's Day.

Arrived here on accident. I was able to snag seats for two while waiting for my boyfriend. We each ordered a red sangria. Strong alcohol! I highly recommend it. We ordered their tapas (not the mains): chimmi sliders, roman salad, chicken tacos and tuna tartare guacamole. We enjoyed the salad and the tuna tartare guacamole. Service was good. They checked in on us despite how busy they were. Glad we checked it out!

I have passed by here several times but never actually went in until this past weekend. I was in the mood to get a quick drink and bite with my mom and boyfriend. We found 3 seats at the bar and ordered some appetizers and a small jar of peach sangria. Our bartender, Ricardo was super friendly from the beginning, he gave us mini samples of sangria to help us decide which one we wanted. They were all delicious but we decided to go with the peach sangria; I will definitely be ordering the blueberry one next time. For our appetizers, we ordered their Cuban sliders and an order for friend calamari. The Cuban sliders were packed with flavor and were a nice size to share. The calamari was crispy and came with several dipping sauces which I loved. They do play a lot of old school Spanish music which was nice and the staff is all so friendly. I will for sure to be returning here to try their dinner menu and order another pitcher of Sangria.

It's been a while since a restaurant hit the "trifecta," for me. Sangarita's hit it hard for us. Sangarita's serves Brunch on Saturday and Sunday's but we were interested in their dinner menu. I called to inquiry and the gentlemen who answered the phone was so pleasant and said yes we could order from the dinner menu and most importantly we could get Paella. We were greeted by the same gentlemen who answered the phone who also was our waiter. We asked for Sangria and was told he made in overnight and today's special brew was Guava. He asked if we wanted to try it first so brought us over a shot glass. Sold! We ordered half a pitcher which yielded 2 glasses each during our meal. They offer 4 types of Paella but none had all the ingredients we wanted so asked if we could substitute the calamari for mussels. Yes, they can do that. We were two people so were going to order the Paella for two. He suggested we order the Paella for one as it was a large size. Our eyes being bigger than our stomachs we agreed but also order the sizzling shrimp in garlic oil and a side order of Tostones. Let me say the garlic sauce that came with the Tostones was sweet and melted on my tongue. I could have slapped that shit on anything and it would have tasted marvelous. The Gambas Al Ajillo (shrimp in garlic sauce) were served sizzling in a tapas bowl which retained the heat nicely as we ate the shrimp and dipped the bread. And dip we did, there was so much flavor infused in the oil I could have just eaten that with the sliced bread. The star though was the Paella. Served with shrimp, boneless white meat chicken, chorizo and mussels. Our waiter was right it was plenty for us with leftovers to take home. The restaurant is cozy with about 10 tables on the entry level along with the bar. Cozy yet still roomy in between tables. Downstairs is their catering area which I suspect they open up to diners when the entry level is filled. The restaurant has a gender neutral bathroom on the entry level and a men's and women's bathroom downstairs. Both floors were nicely decorated in what I would imagine a tapas restaurant might look like in Spain. This is definitely a 4.5 restaurant in my book, friendly waiter, good food, nice ambience and the price quality/quantity was good. For the two of us with taxes and tip it was only $55 each. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they did not scorch the rice at the bottom of the pan. The socarrat is a priced part of Paella. Even without it, the Paella Valencia was very good but if would be great if they had scorched the rice. With all the choices on Bell Blvd in Queens and there are a lot of choices, so glad we decided to eat here. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Went there today for a meet up with friends, and I've been here a few times before but today it was just different. In the past, my crew and I always celebrate b-days here for brunch, and the service is usually on point, but that's probably because we go on a weekday when it's not usually crowded. However today was a little difficult the service was a little on the slower side and the food was okay, even though this afternoon didn't hit the spot, I'll go back again because I've had more positive experiences in my past visit.

We went there for the paellas and they didn't disappoint. The flavor was spot on for both paellas but unfortunately, the chicken was a little dry in the Valenciana. Our server was warm and the food came quickly ...can't complain. In my opinion, the calamari could use a little more color but the light crispy batter made up for it. However, the best thing we ate were the stuffed mushrooms. They were deee-licious, I could go back and just eat 5 orders of that.

Food here is mostly Spanish/Colombian inspired. I loved my entree (pollo con champiñones). Never would have thought of serving breaded chicken with a mushroom cream sauce alongside garlicky spinach and fried ripe plantains. Very tasty. The mushroom and chorizo appetizer wasn't that great and arrived a bit cold. Their flan was too sweet. I could taste the condensed milk in it which I personally don't like and never add to the flan I make. Very friendly and funny staff ( Juan and Ricardo). It does get pretty loud at night. They have a more private seating area downstairs which is where my party sat.
