The interior was packed, although it did have some seating, with eclectic decor and old framed photos on the walls. My sister and I ordered three pastries to share - the Cardamom Bun, one of the "snail" pastries, and the Raspberry Bun. The interior was too crowded for us, so we took these to a nearby coffee shop to eat. All three were delicious, but the Raspberry Bun stole the show for me! I just loved the tart filling. The Cardamom Bun was tasty, but not as memorable at the one from Juno Bakery, and the "snail" wasn't my favorite. Overall though, worth the visit! read more

It's usually packed, sometimes very packed, and the handful of seats feel more valuable than a winning lottery ticket. The coffee is fine, does the job, but let's be honest, you're here for the pastries. And wow, the pastries. Warm, flaky, buttery perfection that makes the wait completely forgivable. We ate FOUR between two of us!! My favorites were the custard and cinnamon roll. But the blueberry and poppy seed shouldn't be overlooked either. We didn't get cardamom this time... not really a fan of that. Grab one, dodge the crowd, and eat it outside if you have to, because these are absolutely worth it. I made a point of trying as many cardamom buns while I was in Copenhagen and I think this was my favorite! It also helped that as I was waiting in line, they put down a fresh tray, so they were perfectly warm. Oh the pastries were so good here! There will be a line when you arrive. Luckily, we waited about 15 minutes on the line on a Saturday morning. We got four pastries: cinnamon roll, raspberry topping pastry, cardamom bun, and almond croissant. The bakery is quite small tho so we just got everything to go. This is one of the oldest bakeries in Copenhagen, and I couldn't leave Denmark trying trying a Danish pastry before leaving. So naturally, my friend I came here twice during our short stay. Everyone else in Copenhagen knows what's up because this place was crowded and had a small line a couple hours after opening. Sankt Peders Bageri is the oldest bakery in CPH. This bakery is a must visit. They have the best Spandauer imo. It was so good that I kept coming a few times during my stay. They have a couple small tables if you want to sit down to enjoy your bakeries and have a cup of hot coffee. Service was pleasant. I loved this bakery! The girls were so kind and recommended what we should try as travelers! They had such a variety! I had the cinnamon bun twist and it was so so yummy! This place is amazing. I had a cardamon bun and something that looked like a blueberry danish with streusel. The blueberry pastry was delicious. I would love to have this for breakfast all the time. The oldest bakery in Copenhagen, of course I had to see what the hype is about. This is the first place we went to after reaching the city, in the afternoon, and although it was empty when we arrived, it became crowded shortly after. The space is quite small but as we were there earlier than others, we had the couch area to ourselves. They have so many options on display so we asked the baker to recommend their most popular items and they did good! We tried their cinnamon rolls, cardamom and pistachio buns and holy moly, they were delicious. It lived up to my expectations, and more! The location of this bakery is also perfect. I came here with 2 other friends on a wednesday morning around 10am and there was no line! We were also able to secure seating almost immediately (it's pretty small inside). I ordered a pistachio cream pastry and a cardamom bun and they were both pretty good but the pistachio cream definitely got a little much towards the end. We came here both days we were here. It's utterly delicious. The cardamom bun is filled with flavor and is layered wonderfully. Slight crisp in the bottom and chewy goodness with each pulled layer. The boss had the cinnamon buns twice, once with sugar and once with frosting. She preferred the sugar variation better but she really enjoyed the cinnamon buns It's worth the walk. Stopped by Skt. Peders for what is becoming our daily habit of eating pastries every afternoon. The space is tight, there's croissant crumbs on every surface, but the goodies are goody. We had the cinnamon roll that looked like a bun that our daughter ate approximately 95% of, so we're glad we each had enough of a bite to determine that it was indeed delicious. We also got an uber mini pizza kind of thing--first time seeing something savory at a bakery, so we pounced on it! There was so shredded ham on it, nothing special but no complaints. The best thing we got, however, was this kind of flattened pistachio croissant thing that had a thick sauce on top of it that essential tasted like pistachio nutella. Heaven! My first impression was that it's definitely less sweet and yeasty than the NA version, with the texture being more bread-like. I have to admit that the outer part was a bit too dry for my taste, but the closer you got to the center, the better it tasted, especially in combination with the cinnamon sugar. It's a good roll for sure, and the price point is quite low at 26DKK, with plenty of locals stopping by (always a good sign), however I don't know if I would consider it extraordinary. read more

We went again this morning, and of course we did try four different kinds of pastries. The sausage bead was so so, nothing special, but the rest of the pastries were very delicious. My favorite bakery that we went to in Copenhagen!!! We luckily went on a Wednesday which is when they sell their cinnamon rolls. They offer 2 varieties-one with icing and the other covered in sugar. We opted for the icing and when we got it, it was still warm so it really hit the spot. This was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had!!!
