Santa Barbara Childrens Dentistry is the best! All of the dentists, hygienists, and staff members are so awesome and great with kids (which of course is the most important part)! We just went in for a sealant appointment. They put my daughter's favorite show on the TV for her to watch while doing the procedure. She was so excited to get some fun prizes and stickers afterwards! Overall, I appreciate how wonderful this practice is. They are also always so thorough and clear with us in everything they do. Ferris Orthodontic Group will excessively call, text and email due to the referral. The excessive, annoying marketing efforts encourages patients to take their business elsewhere. Think twice about using this group for your children dentistry. Definately money driven. read more

This was my child's first visit to this dental office. I found positive reviews in yelp, and hoped for the best, and that exactly what we got. I can't say enough about how every single staff member was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. All fazes of treatment were explained to me, and my 6 year old. He had a great experience, and in turn so did I. The office was child friendly, clean, and comfortable. The equipment was state of the art, which made our visit quick and pain free. I took my 2 year old daughter here today for her first dentist appointment. We had such a great experience! Getting an appointment was simple and we were able to fill out the forms online and send it back. We were greeted right as we walked in the door by the friendly staff. To the right of the lobby was a giant iPad table and toys where kids could play while waiting to get called in. Luckily we didn't have to wait at all since our appointment was early in the morning. Dr. Cox was super friendly and helpful. She answered every question I had and did a good job cleaning Amber's teeth. Im so happy to have found this place! read more

I am very happy with SB Children's dentistry and Dr Haley. My son Elliott was very scared at his first few visits and also had to have some dental work done last year. I was nervous about the dental work and the office and Dr Haley were very patient and informative and put my mind at ease. Everything went really smooth in the end. The staff and Dr. Haley are so kind and professional, and after their most recent visit today my 4y/o son now says he "loves going to the dentist". I really wish dentists were like this when I was a kid, because I feel like it sets the kids up for a lifetime of good dental health and not dreading visits to the dentist. To have a positive experience that is tailored for them is so awesome. We also love the lobby with the big iPad table, books and toys. I highly recommend this dentist office to anyone. read more

THE BEST! We are so lucky to have such an amazing pediatric dentist in town. Dr. Cox and her amazing staff are so caring and helpful! Whether it's for your first time little one or your teenager this place accommodates all ages through a child's growth. The entrance of the practice is welcoming with tons of toys, large tablet to play, books, and a movie playing. There is a large mural on the wall with their mission statement. All the staff welcome you with a warm smile. The main treatment areas has dentist chairs in the open. They also have a private room available for treatments. One thing that really felt so amazing is they encourage and welcome parents to come into the appointments with your child. They are so welcoming and provide great education and conversation. Our child left with a new tooth brush, floss, chapstick, and a prize from the treasure chest. I am so sad that we're aging out of this practice but we're so glad we got to spend a couple years coming here! Also- she was able to recommend an oral maximal facial doctor to check on our teens wisdom teeth. It was great to have a good referral and feel confident in the progression of our child's teeth. read more

I've already given a positive review about Dr. Cox's practice. But here's a situation when they went the extra mile. A recent change in my insurance coverage apparently did not cover fillings for children under a certain age. As a result, I was responsible for those charges for my 9-year-old. HOWEVER, because Dr. Cox's office initially informed me that they were covered by my insurance, instead of charging me, she just "absorbed the cost". That's INTEGRITY. Why is keeping your word so important? Because words reflect the character of the person who said it! read more

Dr. Cox is wonderful. My son loved her and her staff. I was so worried about it being his first time at the dentist (he's 2), but he did so great and that's to the amazing staff. We were so comfortable there. It was quick and efficient. I left so much more knowledgeable about how to properly care for my son's teeth. I cannot recommend Dr. Cox enough. The office is also gorgeous. It is clean and they did a wonderful job making sure the place is sanitized during these COVID times. read more

It was his first time visit to the dentist and she made him feel very relaxed and at ease with her soft spoken voice and interaction with him. Wow! Someone recommended Dr.Hayley Cox and I am so glad I made an appointment. My 18-month-old HATES anybody touching his mouth, but somehow Dr. Hayley made the process much less stressful than I expected. Everybody in the office is so sweet and helpful, and we will definitely keep coming back. Her credentials are very impressive as well, so if that is something important to you, just check out her website.
