Fantastic prices and really nice staff! Nice spot to chill with friends or family! A flight (4 glasses) is only $12 --so this is the best deal I've found!

Extraordinary cider with an atmosphere that matches. The cider tender with the studs in either ear poured a nice head and served me with a smile. I throughly enjoyed the guava you up. #vibecity

So friendly and welcoming here! Dog friendly as well! Try 4 ciders with a flight for $12!

The wife and I love cider so on our most recent Santa Barbara trip we decided to check this place out. We sampled 4 or 5 ciders and unfortunately most of them were too dry for us. We like ciders with more sugar, but the Blueberry Cobbler was pretty good. The people working there that helped us were very friendly. Their ciders are probably more suited to beer drinkers that would like the dry, subtle flavors. They just weren't really for us.

A delicious array of ciders! I definitely recommend getting a flight ($12) and trying 4 different flavors. My personal favorite was the Golden Mule & my friends was the Passion Split. The worker was super nice and helped us choose the other two flavors which we also ended up enjoying!

SB Cider Company deserves a 4.5 star rating for their product, service, facility, etc. It is truly spot on! The single star rating on this review comes from an on-going situation that eliminates this establishment as an option. There is a regular patron who routinely breaks out in loud, expletive-laced outbursts. She initially seems to be just a bit quirky (to be polite) but it is evident by her frequent outbursts that she is completely unstable and a danger to herself and others. I understand that a situation like this is very difficult for a drinking establishment to handle but it cannot be ignored. Hopefully, a solution to this business hampering situation will be found. SB Cider is truly a great place to enjoy when it is safe from disturbed individuals.

Cider! Is that a thing? Well it sure as heck is at the Santa Barbara Cider Co.! Tucked discreetly off Rutherford st. In Old Town Goleta. What, Goleta? Yep, get over it because the cider here is epic and we can forgive. It had been a looong time since I'd been to this place and wanted to see if it still represented. Oh and it does! This is not the sweet kinda sickly apple stuff we may have grown up with cider-wise, these are crisp and fresh tasting ciders that showcase many types fruit from tropical to traditional apple and beyond. With no fewer than 14 offerings on tap ranging from blueberry to plum and pineapple to apple pie, there is surely something for everyone. The space, while a bit hard to find the first time ( if you find Goleta Valley Paint Store you are super super close just look to the right) is delightfully industrial with vestiges of shipping containers Inside and an overhead crane on the covered patio. There are several picnic style tables with few high tops and assorted other seating to be had and plenty of shade. Staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. They can answer any question you might have about cider ( and I had a few) all with a smile and a laugh. Go to this place and enjoy cider, you'll probably see me there as I'm officially hooked :-)

Great selection of dry ciders. I love California. Most everything is dry and not sweet when it comes to wine and cider. Great staff. The apple pie cider reminds me of Fall at home. The peaches was delicious too. Parking was difficult to find as we are not from the area. Also, reccomend putting up a fence by the restrooms so people aren't looking at the mess next door. The cidery itself was a great visit and we hope to get back there before the end of vacation.

All the flights! (Flight of four $12)

Five stars for great ambience, friendly bar staff, indoor and outdoor seating, locally-produced cider, games, blankets, non-binary restroom, and being dog-friendly. Four stars, unfortunately, for the cider itself. Two friends and I went to the SB Cider Co on Saturday, and between us we tried three flights (each flight contains four pours and costs $12). There are 12 ciders on tap, so we were able to try them all. As we took our time working through the flavors, we came to the same general conclusion. Some of the ciders tasted watery. I hate to write this, because I liked the Cider Co very much. But I want to deliver my truth for this review! It's not that we're used to syrupy commercial ciders. We're all into craft cider and beer and were pleased with the unique tastes. Some of the flavors we tried included raspberry, hopped passion fruit, apple cinnamon (this was the only one brewed with sugar added), ginger, and cherry lime. We also appreciated the light and fresh taste that would be lovely on a hot afternoon. But what we were missing was a fullness of body in some of the ciders. This was surprising as they all clock in at around 6% ABV. I'd come back. Some of the ciders were quite nice. Taps rotate out frequently so it seems there'll always be new varieties to sample. And the policy of free tasters is right in line with what I expect from artisanal drinking. I like to try before I buy. But next time, I'd sip cautiously and be sure the ephemerality of the ciders I chose was balanced by a strong fruit taste and substantial savor.

Tap center cidery is in back of a strip center on the main road. Pupuseria pop up is right next door..

They explained that the first cider in the flight (I believe it was the sour apple) was the base for all their ciders. The problem was that I didn't like that first cider at all, so it was a lost cause for all the other ciders on the flight as well. It sounds like other people really like their cider, but for me, this one was a loss. They're also part of Four Brix Winery, so if you're not a cider fan, you can also order a glass of wine or try their wine flight. Overall, it was a nice experience between the music and time spent with friends, but I wouldn't return because I wasn't a fan of their ciders.
