I really wanted to love this place. I had been seeing their ads on Facebook and noticed a few locals raving about it in my area, so I had it on my to-try list. Decided to give it a whirl today, but was unfortunately rather disappointed. I got a $10 off promo from the Facebook ad, so that was nice, but considering how overpriced everything is, it wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped. I ordered 3 breakfast croissants, two large tater tots with beer cheese on the side, and two small iced caramel macchiatos. It was $37 before the $10 coupon was applied. The croissants were tasty, but mine (bacon, egg, and cheese) was a little on the dry side, and ALL of them were TINY with minimal filling. I was definitely expecting a larger or at least more fulfilling croissant for the price (nearly $7 for just one croissant and no sides). Same with the machiattos. They were small but more like miniature, especially considering they were more than $5 each and lacking sweetness, so we had to add more sugar. The beer cheese was okay, but I couldn't dip the tots in it because the tots were grossly undercooked. They were soggy and frankly, disgusting. They had a strange, almost fishy taste that was rather revolting. This was the deal breaker for me. I couldn't eat them at all, and I won't return because of it. The place itself was cute, smelled delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient, but none of that makes up for disappointing food at unjustifiable prices considering what you get. I wished I had gone to get Burger King breakfast croissants and hash browns instead, which would have tasted better and been significantly cheaper. It wasn't a great first impression, and I won't be back, but I gave them three stars rather than lower because the service was good and the croissants tasted good despite being too small and skimping on the insides. If they are going to successfully compete with the myriad of other breakfast options in the area, though, they definitely need to BOTH up their game and re-evaluate their pricing strategies. Oh...and definitely cook the tater tots ALL the way through because nobody likes a soggy tater tot! read more

I really enjoyed this restaurant for lunch! We came here during the week and found it on Yelp. The reviews are very accurate. There's many sandwich options to choose from and you can mix and match a sandwich and a salad as well! I ordered the small Mandarin Chicken Salad and small Mediterranean Chicken sandwich. Both tasted fantastic but I would've loved a little more ingredients in my sandwich. It was a lot of croissant! Luckily the croissant was delicious and soft. The Thai dressing on the salad was also really good! Pricing is definitely reasonable and there's plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant. Douceur de France makes a much better croissant to start with, let alone the strange and overpriced menu that is supposed to turn a mediocre croissant into a sandwich meal. The inside is very clean & welcoming. It's pretty expensive for what you actually get; 2 Matcha chai tea lattes and one croissanwich came to about $30 after tipping (which I don'tunserstand why I was prompted to leave a tip when I placed the order at the counter, picked up my food and drink at the counter, AND had to bus/cleanup my own table.) Our order taker was your run of the mill teenager, anxiously waiting to get back on her phone instead of actually working. I will say, however, the croissant had a complex flavor profile. It took me several bites to decide what ingredients were used to make it, but they did make it, otherwise I would have ranked them lower. The photo makes it look like a huge croissant stuffed to the edges, but in reality it's all fluffy, airy filler. All in all, this is an "unique to North Atlanta" spot, if you're tired of the usual breakfast offerings. My take? Major membership clubs have croissants at a fraction of the cost you will pay here. We went to Lviv Croissants for the first time tonight. They have been open a little longer than a week, and they have definitely become quite popular in the Roswell area. I originally showed up around 3 PM, and based upon the long lines of people waiting to order, I decided to come back later in the day. We arrived a little after 7 PM and there was no wait to place an order. Everything about this place has a European feel. The entire staff is super nice, and the food tastes fresh and very flavorful. I tried the Italian charcuterie croissant sandwich. It comes on a white or wheat croissant with Genoa Salami, Thinly Sliced Prosciutto, Hot Uncured Capicola, Arugula, Fresh Mozzarella, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Drizzle of Balsamic Glaze, and Pesto Aioli. My family wanted to try something a little sweet, so they ordered the wild berries and mascarpone croissant. It comes on a freshly baked croissant with House-Made Mascarpone Cream, Blueberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, Maple Syrup, Fresh Mint, and a Sprinkle of Powdered Sugar. The only downside was the wait time for the food. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. Being that this restaurant is fairly new, and there only appeared to be two people making the sandwiches, this is the one and only obstacle standing in the way of a strong five star review. I look forward to returning to try other menu items in the near future, and I would gladly upgrade them to a five star review at that time. I would also highly recommend others in the Roswell area come and try this unique European eatery. Pro: courteous staff Cons: although they specialize in croissants, their pastries have nothing to do with croissants: they look like croissants, but the texture and taste are of some mediocre white pastry. Even Costco croissants or the ones from Trader Joe's that you have to bake yourself, are better. Fillings are generic and the final product doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. Coffee choices too are generic, and the vanilla lavender latte didn't have even a hint of lavender. The coffee and drinks - delicious!!! The croissants look so good but seem like they might be pre-prepped or not as fresh as they say they should be. Ate in the restaurant for the first time and ordered two of the bacon cheese egg croissants. Everything was "cooked" but the sandwich was lukewarm at best when we ate it. The egg was barely warm. That's the way it was served to us. The tater tots were undercooked. Very mushy no crisp to them completely fell apart when trying to pick one up. They were not busy at all when we were there, so there seems to be some sort of floaw in their process. read more

Exellent food and drinks. The croissant sandwiches, green tea mocha, and coffee are always fresh. My personal favorite is the turkey croissant. Romina and the staff are friendly and efficient. My experience is they will go the extra mile to satisfy the customer. For my purposes, it is a nice retreat from the world. It sure beats starbucks and dunkin donuts. We ordered a large polish kabanossi and small ham salami sandwich. The sausage was new to me and had a soft and slightly mushy texture which seemed off. The large crossiant felt a bit dense compared to bakeries like Theo's and Alon's. My wife had the ham and salami sandwich. Whether it was the sandwich or the lemonade with elderberry, the combo made her stomach hurt. The interior is small, so crowds quickly as customers come in. Seating is limited. The pickup area is right by the entrance and gets congested quickly with 5 or so people waiting. The young lady who took our order didn't make eye contact once. Had to repeat the order several times (both because the order taker seemed distracted, and because of a nearby table of loud guests)...not that it mattered because one of items had a mistake when it was FINALLY served (which they did quickly fix, though).
