Super nice, clean, and conveniently located. Close to the airport, places to eat, and across the street from the Great America amusement park. It was quiet and the gym was impressive. The pool area huge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay for a night on a business trip or with your family.

Our stay was amazing! We came for the firework show both days from Great America. From our balcony, on the fourth, we saw almost 30 firework shows ranging from 8:40p to 11:15p. The high tower room allowed us to look over the city and beyond. Following the shows, we were hungry but refused to leave due to the amount of traffic. Room service being served until 11p saved us. We each ordered a burger as the food options were limited to a steak, pasta, pizza, wings, tenders, salads, soups and fries. Regardless we were happy for the service. The food was excellent as well - we were quite satisfied. Avoid the fries, they are reheated and arrived at a nuked temp. An automatic $5 charge is added to the food bill for room delivery, but front desk staff called our room to pickup our order. After informing front desk of the automatic charge, our food was brought to our room within five minutes. The room itself was spacious with two queen beds, two chairs and an oversized built in desk. A mini fridge and coffee maker were in the room. The shower offered a waterfall style shower head with a shower arm. The bathroom had a modern style with black and wood accents. The television service was limited especially internet channels. Netflix cannot be viewed unless you have a no ad account (we do not). YouTube would not load due to a different time zone than the tv...no clue. There were three children channels with one showing Friends. Tons of sports channels. A mobile key is offered, but can only be shared if the other guess has a Bonvoy account. Once the mobile key is requested, the physical card keys are useless to enter/exit the parking garage ($40/day charge). Check out was done entirely through the app including the finalized statement being emailed. Staff was friendly and accommodating through the app messaging, on the phone and in person.

I've been here several times. I've been here for conferences, as a guest, and for conventions. I can now say I've been here for World Cup match day get togethers. The staff here has been so hospitable and friendly. Everyone greeted me even in passing. It was fun seeing folks from all over the world, however, it didn't get too chaotic. Staff made sure that those that were here for World Cup soccer also got world class service. They had recommended to their guests food recommendations and other things to do such as going to the theme park nearby.

We stayed at the Santa Clara Marriott while in town for a concert, and since we arrived a little early, we weren't sure if we'd be able to check in right away. Thankfully, they had a room ready for us on a lower floor, which worked out perfectly. The hotel was actually much larger than it looked in the pictures, with a really nice bar and pool area to enjoy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for what we needed, with no issues at all. We really appreciated that everything was ready when we arrived, making for an easy and stress-free start to our stay.

My buddy suggested meeting up for drinks at Santa Clara Marriott before having a steaks at a restaurant not far away. I am always up for trying something new. The bar is in the front right beyond the registration desks. The first thing I noticed was the pleasant scent when I walked in. So many hotels have been doing this and I like it. It's a nice classy touch. The bar itself is decent. It's a full bar and it had a generous offering of spirits. I went with a pint of Sam Adams Winter Brew and I think my buddy had a martini. There were several large monitors that had college football on and this is a plus. The bartender was okay. I don't expect much, however, I do want them to be knowledgeable about the beers on tap. He seemed a little disinterested in my questions. It was fine; I ordered what I wanted. The hotel itself was very quiet, almost empty. The upside to that was we were able to carry on a conversation easily. Anyway, not sure if I will be back. Parking is $40 (yikes), although they do validate. Time for some pics.

Was here on business and had a pleasant stay.room on 14th floor of tower was clean and remodeled. Lobby was as nice and clean There was a musty type smell when the A/C was on, so I cracked the balcony door open - weather is fabulous. Worked out of the large M-Club for several hours. Decent breakfast and snacks. Coffee machines are right by the entrance door which doesn't seem like a great idea. No water bottles here, but bring your own for water dispenser. Proximity to airport is awesome. Uber/Lyft is around $15-20z. Lots of great food /restaurant options right past the 101.

Don't be fooled by the exterior photos of this hotel online - it's actually quite nice! The lobby is fairly spacious and boasts a sizable bar and a decent hotel market. The accommodations were lovely. We got put up on the top floor. Our room had vaulted ceilings, a small balcony, and a nice view of the road and the hotel pool. The room was clean and the bed and sofa were VERY comfortable. The walls could be a little thin (I could hear someone's alarm going off in the morning) but nothing too wild. Overall would stay here again! My only gripe is that we decided on this hotel due to the close proximity to the theme park, but learned the hard way that it's nearly a mile walk to the front gate! Definitely got our steps in and the way there in the morning wasn't bad. But on a toasty day, the walk back to the hotel was rough! While I know they're no longer affiliated with the park, I wish there was a shuttle or some sort of transport, even for a fee.

Stayed here recently and overall it was decent, but not amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly--especially at the breakfast restaurant. They really made the mornings feel welcoming. The location is pretty close to Levi's Stadium, which was great, but the walk back was long. Not the easiest stroll, especially after a long concert. We decided to walk back after a $100 pedicab ride there. One of the better parts of the stay was renting a cabana by the pool. It was $100 for 2-6 PM and came with bottled water and a fruit platter, which felt like a good deal and made for a relaxing afternoon. The downside? I got charged twice for it. I called and they said they'd send it to accounting, but I haven't heard anything back yet. For $460 a night, I expected a bit more. It wasn't bad, but definitely didn't feel worth the price tag.

Great conference hosting by Zaky Sayed and his team for the Missional AI conference in April 2026. Professional and personal throughout and hotel guests also appreciated their accommodations and amenities. Premiere Bonvoy members can use the lounge as well.

We resided at the Santa Clara Marriott for a few days for business. The staff here are outstanding, shout-out to Logan and Paris (I hope I spelled his name right). The first day we got here, we were famished and wanted to get a quick bite. A Marriott staffer, Logan seated us, cool dude! We got the menu and perused it. While there isn't a large assortment of food items, I decided to get the panko chicken fingers with fries, awesomely delicious. While there are quite a few places to dine in Silicon Valley, we actually ended up eating here for dinner the few days we were here. All the food is excellent. I just wanted to list a few items that really stood out: Bucatini al Pesto con Guanciale, Argentinian Steak Lomo Saltado, Classico Pizza, and the Wagyu Burger. Also, if you need a good workout, the gym was absolutely exceptional! Before I forget to mention, this was an exceptional Marriott, the staff was excellent, and I look forward to coming back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Santa Clara Marriott. I wasn't planning on staying here and made reservations at the last minute with my employer's travel agency. This Marriott is located in Santa Clara across the Great America. This Marriott most likely used to be one of their flagship locations as Great America used to be owned by the Marriott. The property was huge. It had convention halls, 2 towers and a couple of 2-3 story buildings facing their garden and pool. Remodeling was done a couple years ago modernizing the rooms. Check in was quick and easy by Kunal and his coworker. They knew how to process a virtual payment (VCP) that my employer uses, without this Marriott listed as one of my employers "Most Preferred Hotels". Our room was on the 10th floor of the larger tower. The room came with a king bed, a sofa and a large screen TV. The bathroom was adequate. No bathtub. There was a shower and a hand shower. Water pressure was weak on the 10th floor as it took 4-5 toilet flushes before everything flushed away. The bed was a little soft for me. With enough meds, I was able to get a good nights sleep. My room had a balcony with a view toward the park and Levi's stadium. The exercise room is downstairs by the pool. The gym had everything including stuff I couldn't use. They have a couple of Life Fitness and Peleton bikes that I was able to use with my bad ACL. They had several weight lifting machines, dumbells, and lots of ellipticals, treadmills, and 2 stair climbing machines. It was one of the better gym hotels. The pool was a large 25 yard pool with lane lines for lap swimming. They even had tennis courts. An M Club is available for Bonvoy members who are platinum and above. The M Club is one of the better ones around serving both breakfast and an evening appetizer. The personnel working there were friendly. The morning crew was Team Tagalog. They offer the usual scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, pastries, oatmeal, juice and coffee. It wasn't until the last day of my 5 night stay that I found out that this M Club does things better than other M Clubs. At breakfast, they offer cooked to order eggs if you ask, or if they decide to offer. It was sad that they didn't offer it to me until my last breakfast; and that was from me watching their interactions with other Asian customers. Perhaps I was not Asian enough for them the first 4 days of my stay. In the evenings, the M Club was manned by Myra, Olga and Julian. They did their job, and warmed up to me after seeing me for a few days. The evening appetizer offerings were fantastic. It wasn't just an appetizer, it was dinner. They offered dishes like salmon vindaloo, chicken wings, pan seared cod and a seafood paella. Along with dinner, they also provided desserts. The food was fantastic. The Santa Clara Marriott is a good hotel. It was nicely remodeled. The room was okay. The food was good. The gym was adequate. I liked that they knew how to process my VCP. I probably will stay here again for work.

Hyatt house has all the convenience you need if you are staying for a while - microwave, fridge, dishwasher, sink, cups, plates, utensils, pull out couch. Cons: 1. When we pulled out the sofa bed, and my son started unraveling the sheet left there to use, we found a couple of bugs on the sheet. We immediately went downstairs and reported the issue and received a new room. 2. You needed to scan your card to use the elevator. But it took several tries of sliding it in and out before it worked. I'm guessing since this is an older hotel that is why the card reader was having issues. 3. Parking for the hotel is like the general parking for the shopping plaza. Front desk provided me a parking pass to place in my car. There wasn't a parking lot just for hotel guests. Neutral: 1. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but did go check it out. It is towards the back of the hotel, and had an outdoor shower as well with a few lounge chairs. I'm not sure why the front desk told us to use the pool to walk outside and turn right. When you could have walked past the elevator and past the gym and down the corridor towards the back and there was a door to go to the pool that way instead of walking outside.

There was just one tiny table with one chair. I don't know how a couple would be expected to eat in here. Also, a computer desk like Residence Inn usually provides was desperately wanted. Having to juggle eating and work on this one tiny table was quite annoying. Otherwise, the room was quite solid. The refrigerator was a nice size and having a good deal of kitchen countertop space was nice. There even was a toaster! The exterior amenities were kind of so-so. The pool was extremely tiny. While there was a good deal of sitting space on an outdoor patio that had a barbecue, there was absolutely no shade, and I would think it would be miserable to sit out there during the day. The gym was small, but I was actually impressed with it. Any hotel that has dumbbells that go up to 75 pounds is definitely in the minority. They also had a Peloton bike or two and several treadmills along with a pullup station. I was quite impressed with the breakfast. Lots of choices and several freshly made dishes were always available. One thing I have to mention is the pricing. While this hotel is obviously not the only one that has prices that fluctuate depending on demand, the room rates varied drastically for the days that I stayed there. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again, but it is worth mentioning. Overall I was quite happy with my stay here.

If any establishment deserves negative stars, this place would definitely be it! On late Tuesday night/early Wednesday of May 20/21, 2025, I walked in past midnight to book a stay. Unfortunately, AC Hotel was fully booked. Fine. I asked the front desk agent, Roselyn, if I could stay in the lobby to search for another Marriott hotel stay since I am a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Member. She agreed, but after I used the restroom in the lobby and told her that all of the lavatories needed attention (NONE of the toilets were flushed, GROSS!), she seemed to change her mood. For some odd reason that night, the Marriott site was down and I could not view any available hotel rooms, so had to call Customer Service. I was put on hold for quite some time because all of the hotels in Santa Clara were fully booked. After a few minutes, Roselyn kicked me out of the hotel because "non-guests are not allowed to be in the lobby after a certain time." I asked her to make a special consideration for me because I was stranded and had no hotel room yet. She did not care and insisted that I leave and even fetched the security guard. She knew that I was alone with no place to go. She had no idea if I had transportation to go somewhere in the middle of the night. I felt like a criminal by Roselyn's unfriendly and incompassionate treatment. What extreme inhospitable treatment by someone in the hospitality industry! My experience prompted me to send feedback through the Marriott website and to call the AC Hotel to connect with the Hotel Manager, Fernando... I called on May 24 and Camille told me that Fernando would call me by Monday, the 26th. May 26 - no call from Fernando, so I called again and spoke to Shane who left a second message for Fernando. May 29 - still no call from Fernando, so I called again and left another message with Shane. Sholanda ended up calling me back instead. Not only did Fernando neglect to return my calls, my conversation with Sholanda was extremely disappointing and, frankly, shocking. I am starting to believe that the staff falls short of giving proper satisfactory customer service because management provides poor examples - After I filled Sholanda in on my interaction with Roselyn, she defended her team member by saying, "What kind of special consideration were you expecting? I wasn't there, so I can't say if Roselyn handled the situation inappropriately. Afterall, we do have protocol that non-guests should not be in the lobby after a certain time." I told her that I appreciate the protocol that looks out for the safety of AC guests and staff; however, although I was not a current guest at the time, I am still a Marriott Bonvoy customer and deserved a level of human compassion. When I told Sholanda that I work in the customer service field and found my treatment as unacceptable and offensive, Sholanda asked in what field because she wanted to compare if my expectations of Roselyn were aligned with hospitality. I told her that her inquiry was inappropriate, reminding her that it doesn't matter what field I am in because the goal of customer service is to ensure that clients feel valued and respected. Roselyn did not behave in such fashion. That is the core of the problem. Sholanda did not seem to understand this concept as she seemed more concerned with hearing Roselyn's side of the story. WOW. We ended the conversation with Sholanda telling me that she would have Fernando call me back. It's now the night of June 11 and I have not heard from him. There is definitely something wrong with the team at AC San Jose Santa Clara - AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN HELP IT!

Element - Little birthday goodies left in our room when we got there. So cute and sweet!

I stayed here while attending a concert at Levi's Stadium and was pleasantly surprised, especially for the value. We had a room with two queen beds that was much more spacious than I expected. It also had a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and cooking area. I didn't use the kitchen since we were only there for the concert, but it would be great for families or a longer stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was probably my biggest surprise. I normally don't expect much from hotel breakfast buffets and try to get there early before everybody's hands have touched everything. They had the usual self-serve items like waffles, breads and fruit, but they also had someone preparing eggs and serving bacon and potatoes. They even had healthier options like quinoa and salad. And the coffee deserves a mention! They had regular hotel coffee plus an espresso machine. If you know me, you know I love my coffee, so that was definitely a plus. I'm not saying run over here just to eat breakfast , but for a complimentary hotel breakfast, it was actually very good and added a lot of value to the stay. Another big plus if you're staying here for an event at Levi's Stadium is the nearby VTA light rail. I wish I had known about that option before our concert! Overall, this was a good value with a spacious room, kitchen, better-than-expected breakfast, good coffee and convenient access to transportation. I would definitely consider staying here again for another event at Levi's Stadium. -- Popcorn Travels

They provided a few utensils, a toaster, and even dish soap with a sponge, which was really convenient. Breakfast was just okay. The eggs were too soggy, and the sausage was too dry, so we ended up DoorDashing breakfast the next day.

Love, love, loved their service. Rooms are clean and standard. Pool has a beautiful set up with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Front desk was very accommodating and the manager was very helpful to amend the error from our third party booking service, an issue that wasn't even their fault. Lots of parking.

After several tries, we were able to get rid of it, and I called the front desk to change rooms. I was told the only other rooms available were on the first floor, by the one we were in, and not on the other side, where they "hadn't had problems." At 10p, we packed up all of our belongings and found a different hotel. I called the manager the next day, to ensure we hadn't been charged for the 1 night of our two-night stay. He told me they had cancelled the charges to our card, and he offered to give us a free night the next time we come to town. He also advised he would speak to their Housekeeping Department. Instead, he should probably invest in a better Pest Control Company! Hard pass. We would never stay there again.
