I wanted to share my experience with Hilton Santa Clara during their Super Bowl tailgating event. On a positive note, the food and drinks were delicious, and credit is due to the kitchen staff and chef. As a long-time Hilton Honors member who has enjoyed staying at Hilton properties for over 20 years, I was excited to attend this event with my son -- our first Super Bowl event together. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. A few days before the event, I called ahead to ask about the non-hotel-guest policy and pricing. A very pleasant employee named Ana explained that the cost would be $50 per person, which included access to the bar area, food trucks, game viewing, and tokens toward food or drinks. When we arrived at registration on the day of the event, we were told the price had increased to $100 per person. At no point was I told that pricing was flexible or subject to change, which felt misleading and unprofessional. Once inside, we were informed that if we left the hotel -- even to access the food trucks -- we would not be allowed back in. This was an extremely restrictive policy, especially after paying a premium to attend the event. We were seated at table 105, which should clearly identify our waitress, although I did not catch her name. From the start, there was no greeting, introduction, or acknowledgment. We were there from approximately 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and service was consistently poor. My son, my friend, and I repeatedly ran out of drinks, including water, and often had to search for the waitress for long periods of time just to request refills. We observed the same issue at nearby tables, with other guests walking to the bar themselves due to lack of attention. I want to be very clear that the low tip was not due to being unwilling to tip. I typically tip 20-25% for good service. The reduced tip was strictly a reflection of the poor and inattentive service we received throughout the event. As the game was about to start, it became apparent that the TVs in the bar area had little to no audible sound. Only one TV in the lounge area could be heard, prompting guests to move chairs just to hear the game. When we requested assistance, the first manager who arrived told us the TVs were already at maximum volume and that nothing else could be done. That response was unacceptable for a paid Super Bowl viewing event. Thankfully, after requesting the General Manager, staff collaborated and resolved the issue by bringing out a portable speaker connected to the TVs. While this fixed the problem, it should have been an immediate solution rather than a last resort. This experience -- misleading pricing, restrictive policies, poor service, and lack of proactive management -- was especially disappointing given that this was my son's and my first Super Bowl event together. My friend also flew in from Florida specifically for this experience, which made the disappointment even greater. Unfortunately, I will not return to this Hilton location for events and will not recommend it to others. I will be sharing this experience so others can make informed decisions about attending future events here.

Very cool event next to the Levi's stadium where me and my girlfriend were able to meet Jerry Rice and they were also giving out free food which was really nice of them 5 stars

I've stayed here in the past for a work trip and it needed an update. Now in November 2025 they are under construction and they have the majority of the hotel closed and blocked off. I tried to go to the restaurant on a Thursday evening for dinner and it was closed. When asking the front desk about it they stated that management closed the restaurant (even though it was open the night before) but didn't have any further explanation. So I had to Grubhub some dinner in since it was pouring rain outside. With the restaurant closed, there's nowhere to get a beer or a drink. The rooms were ok, but definitely not a "4-star" level of hotel. This hotel basically felt like an overpriced Hampton Inn with even less amenities (at least Hampton Inn you get a free breakfast). When I'm back in town for work I'll be staying somewhere else. Also note for fellow Diamond / Elite members, they don't have an executive lounge, despite what the listing on the Hilton website says (used to be on 8th floor but is closed permanently).

Very disappointed in my stay here. We came all the way from Virginia to see a 49ers game. My husband is a huge fan so this was a gift to him. For this to be a Hilton, I was not impressed. The hotel was average at best. We had the "city view" from the 2nd floor which wasn't a very pleasant view at all. I asked if I could change to a different room. The rep who helped wasn't very friendly at all. Their response was that this is for Diamond members only. When I said I was willing to pay for a different room, his response changed but the other options he provided weren't much better so we ended up keeping what we had The stadium is conveniently located within walking distance which is awesome. Sunday we attended the game. It was a scorching 95° so you can imagine how badly we wanted to shower afterwards...Nope, all the hot water was out and shortly after that, the power went out from 7:30pm about 1230 am. No apology, no explanation nothing. It was absolutely awful. I will never stay at this hotel again. Sorry not sorry.

More like 2.5 stars instead of 2. Honestly location is nice and the first floor is gorgeous. But after that...it bothers me how the rooms don't look as clean. I always operate under the assumption hotels aren't as clean as they look so if I get a room that doesn't at least LOOK clean, I'm sort of bothered. This hotel also attracts a lot of families and large groups, but the walls are thin enough you can occasionally hear your neighbors. I'd stay here again if the price is competitive to other hotels, but not a first choice at all. Security is also hella lax. I came in at 11pm one night and didn't have to use my card to get me inside. Anyone can park in the parking lot which is cool if a friend is visiting, but must be annoying if you're a guest fighting for parking with randoms just taking advantage of how free it is.

Sushie is extremely responsive and well known in the industry. I tried my best to be independent since I had hired them for day of coordination, but she kept tabs on me throughout the process and checked in with me often to make sure I was doing ok (which I so appreciate because I did indeed need the help). She linked me to her favorite and vetted vendors on multiple occasions which saved me so much time and hassle. She's extremely generous with her time and services (even too much! I worry that she loves her job too much...) She let me borrow her inventory, helped me so much with printing, streamlined my schedule for the day and so much more. I'm type A and a perfectionist, but honestly, it's really hard to do it all yourself in an industry you're not familiar with and trust others to execute it the way you want to. But I'm so glad I put my trust in Sushie and Jessica to make it all happen. On the day of the wedding, Jessica was onsite to make sure things run smoothly. She communicates clearly and has so much experience that my friends and family felt like we were well taken care of. Even through there were still some small hiccups during wedding, she was really understanding of my needs and helped me to smooth out where was needed. As a bride that worried and wants everything to be perfect, I think I hired the best team ever to make it all happen. Sending a lot of love. We knew nothing about the wedding process or where to even start and often found ourselves falling down different rabbit holes and side tracked. It was hard organizing our thoughts of what needed to be done, etc. Being a wedding bartender myself, I've seen Sushie in action as the bride & groom's planner for the events I've worked. I knew she was the one to have for ours! Even after our first video call, my husband liked her immediately. Sushie is hands down the BEST wedding planner you can hire in the Bay Area. She is super quick at responding and very straight forward, no bullshitting. She made the year leading up to our wedding stress free and we were able to have fun and enjoy the planning process. We told her our budget and vision for what kind of wedding we wanted and she made it happen. We were blown away by how exact she got to our budget at the end of the planning process! She also knows a lot of other vendors if you need them like HMUA, Photographers/Videographers, photobooth, desserts, DJ, etc. and all are trusted vendors, otherwise she would never recommend them to her clients. The day of the wedding went SO SMOOTHLY and literally, it was everything we imagined and wanted for the special day. I don't think it could have happened without Sushie and her team. If you're debating on getting a planner, stop. JUST HIRE ONE. Your future self will thank you and that money you spent on one will be so worth it and your sanity. Thank you Sushie for making the best day of our lives happen! Highly, highly, highly recommend hiring Sushie and her team for your planner though. NO REGRETS!!!

In the beginning, the security and parking were awful, but during my most recent visits for concerts, it was a breeze going through security (of course ensuring that all guidelines were met) and scanning my tickets. The staff were friendly and wished my group a good time and that the concert was about to start and we didn't miss anything. There is a variety of food stands to choose from; however, it would be better if they offered a few other types rather than the standard hot dog/fries/tenders booths. Pricing is okay, not great, but it's within the "new normal" range in the Bay Area. The bathrooms are relatively clean and toilets have automatic flushing. While there may be a long line out the door, just know that there are a lot of stalls inside the restroom and it actually goes by pretty quickly. If you're planning to visit Levi's for an event, make sure you know where to park and plan your travel accordingly as freeways and streets get congested and slow. Overall, Santa Clara does a decent job of handling the traffic on the streets than when they first opened so the flow moves pretty well. If you can park further away and walk, that will save you a lot of money. Lastly, if you are attending a concert in the evening or watching a game, bring a light jacket or sweatshirt as it can get windy/breezy within the stadium seats.

Post-COVID, they have aligned with proper precautions for the county and I feel completely safe working from there. There is a key fob that you can use during and after-hours, truly making this workplace accessible 24/7. Their kitchen is also fantastic. It is usually stocked with many single-serve type items (think cheese, hummus, pickle pouches, fruits, trail-mix type snacks, and beverages galore). Microwave, kitchen, and non-stop coffee. (There is oddly a premium coffee machine up front that I have NEVER seen been used as they charge a fee. This seems like it is a waste and should just be made available for users to make their own coffee.). Lunch is usually via a group DoorDash, but I find it easier and cheaper to often order separately and have it delivered to the the front door. All-in-all, Star Space is a wonderful co-working space that allows me to work outside the distracting environment in my own home, but not having to commute to my regular workplace or to another distracting environment like the library or coffee shops. The team did multiple site visits to ensure that we were set up properly with power and that they could provide exactly what we needed (and more) for both the aesthetic, but also for the coordinating team, bartenders, and catering team. Owl Vision worked with our vendors throughout the process, so we didn't even have to coordinate things like arrival times and timelines. The team worked with us so personally days before the event, setting up and customizing the lighting and sound to make sure it reflected our vision. We ran several test runs at dusk and in the evening with them. When our vineyard lights didn't dim, David (owner of Owl Vision) went out and personally picked up dimmers at the store days before our event. During our wedding, we had 4 tea, members running our event: a manager, an MC, a DJ, and a lighting designer. I cannot speak highly enough of this team, who worked in the background to run the reception perfectly. Their setup was not intrusive and they were working efficiently in the background with our coordinator to monitor the timeline. We, as a couple, are big into music and were very nervous about how the night would turn out for us and our family / friends. DJ Tav Tal played exactly what we had hoped for and even accommodated all of our last-minute requests as the night evolved. The team stayed well beyond contract and even helped us turn our wedding into a silent disco. Owl Vision management stayed to make sure the silent disco was working (until well after midnight) and then arrived promptly at 10:00am the next morning to clean up.
