Took a risk after reading some reviews and then experienced it first-hand, when the chain on my sterling-silver gold plated necklace broke after just 1 week. This happened in mid-September... and they've yet to return any calls or emails 2 months later. The reason I'm posting this review is because holidays are coming up and people have the right to know!!! There are some sick fossils in the store though that are fun to admire.

Altitude jewelry was a lifesaver. During breakfast one morning, I realized that my daughter's…read moreearring had fallen off! We had only gotten her second piercing two weeks ago. So we needed to find a place for help, and fast! So we went to a few different places (including a doctors office), but all of those couldn't do it, it was to pricey, or it was closed. By the minute, my daughters ear got worse and worse, and that's when we stumbled across Altitude Jewelry! So I came up to a kind woman who was running the place at the moment, and explained the problem. She gave us tweezers, and helped us take of the back, and that's when she told us that the whole Diamond was actually in my daughters ear! With her help, we easily got it out, and got a new pair of earrings, and now my daughter feels fantastic! We are so grateful that the lady was able to help! Highly recommended when in a bad situation or just looking for jewelry!!

The person working the cash register looked it up and said it would be $51. 3 minutes later, I found the EXACT same shawl in a small which had a price tag of 41.50 (the first one was a medium). We asked him to honor the price, and he said "nope, mediums probably cost more because, you know extra fabric." Okay, first of all, that's not how clothes work. But to humor him my friend tried on the small and it fit, and we asked to get that one. "Nope (again) all sales are final (he and not told us that). You can't exchange it, for the exact same item for the correct price. You CAN go buy something else for the price difference (not easy to do), so she bought a bracelet and paid more. Such a contrast to the experience I'm accustomed to shopping on Frisco Main Street. NOT a good reflection on our town at all. I will never bring a guest there again. Plenty of other local shops who treat locals and visitors well.

We came into this place about a month ago. I had a couple…read moreof requests. 1. One gold bracelet was way too long and I needed it shortened. 2. My beloved gold bangle was in need of polishing and regroving of the lines etched in. 3. I wanted a custom made Cross & bead gold bracelet that I had I my mind. Nobody makes them. Lastly I had a bag of gold rings to sell. I wanted to say that EVERY EMPLOYEE was beyond polite and professional. They listened to every one of my 'ask's' and immediately said yes. They told me to give them a couple of days on the design for the new bracelet for my approval. When I received their ideas, it was exactly what I wanted. A week later my bangle and my bracelet were shortened perfectly. Two weeks later my cross bracelet arrived. Unfortunately, I damaged the clasp the first week. The damage was completely due to MY misuse. Not their skill. (I am EXTREMELY HARD ON JEWELRY) We took it back in to be repaired. I just picked it up. They put on a heavy duty clasp at my request. I went to pay and they didn't charge me. Now THAT's customer service!! We will be back. Thank you all for your assistance
