I've brought my GLC twice for servicing and a repair. A regular schedule service is much cheaper than the dealer (by at least 50%) and they still performed all of the Mercedes recommended services per the service schedule. My check engine light came on recently so I took my car in for a diagnosis. They spent the morning investigating the issue and pretty quickly found the source of the problem (along with a few other recommended repairs that I didn't proceed with, and the guys at the shop weren't pushy about it either, which I appreciate). I was able to pick up my car the next day. They even took one of my tires to be repaired for free when they found a large nail it in after test driving the car. They probably aren't the cheapest independent service shop, but they know what they're doing, they use genuine parts, and they're definitely not ripping you off either. This shop is great and I'll back for future services or repairs. read more

10/10 recommend. Buddy, the Boston Terrier is my favorite member of the team, but Brian, Ozzie, Brett and the guys took incredible care of me, too. It is evident from the beginning that they genuinely give a sh*t about their customers. This is HUGE. I needed a Mercedes A220 battery ASAP and couldn't handle getting ripped off (again) at the dealership. I called a few shops to compare prices and-- more importantly-- whether the business was kind and patient with me on the phone. SM Autoworks won me over on both fronts. Because I was in a pinch, I didn't have an appointment. Still, they did their best to squeeze me in, even though they were slammed. Brian, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure I had my car back in a timely manner. He even gave me a ride home! That unexpected kindness meant a lot. Fair prices, a friendly crew and VERY efficient work. I went in for a second service yesterday -- same A+ experience. My poor car will need brakes soon, too, so I'll be back for that. Interesting to see all the positive comments. Brought in a Porsche 986 which I was 99% sure the fuel pump went wrong. At first amazing service, they clearly communicated prices and what will first be done (including the fact that it is possible to supply own parts but that there will be no warranty and work might be longer if part is wrong). With that said, I confirmed to start the diagnostic. After confirming it was the fuel pump, I was quoted for a repair: $2400. just for the parts I was over-quoted by roughly $500-600 (compared to online genuine parts price). When I then called in to say I will supply my own parts the next day, at first Scott suddenly had to check if they can do that (not a concrete no immediately), then I was told that it is not possible to use my parts. Next day I come in to pick up the car. I tell them that I have been told that supplying my own parts is okay even before the car was looked into. First another guy wants to make a bet with me that I cannot find cheaper genuine parts online than what they've quoted me (went silent after I showed him :D). He then asked the older-looking owner to give him a hand. Owner said he heard what I've been told and that his employee never told me I can use my own parts; apparently he "hears everything" despite sitting behind a desk at the other side of the shop at the time. Good on him though, with his age having that good of a hearing is commendable. After that we got into a shouting contest, where everytime he was about to leave he came back running asking if I want to say anything else to him :D. High cortisol this early isn't healthy early in the morning! He even threatened to call the cops and told us to get the "f out of his property". Maybe the owner slept poorly last night, but definitely wasn't the "nice guy" everyone says he. Not a good look swearing at a teenager bud. At least I didn't have to pay the $500 for the diagnostic, so good on you guys and thanks for letting me know what's wrong with the car! Goodluck everyone else. read more

Took my 2007 Porsche 911 in to get service done and these guys are phenomenal. I was given a price WELL below the dealer with full inspection and diagnostics. The staff is courteous and light hearted but serious about getting you in and out. The dealer wanted me to leave my car all day, Brian told me at Autoworks they'd need it for a few hours. I went and had lunch and while I was eating I got a call that my car was ready. They can get busy at times so my best advice is to schedule your visit (my appt was a few days after scheduling).
