"His employees are more friendly than the other shops in town." "I can get what I want done without that horrible upselling I get from other shops." "His prices are really fair." I could go on! Arriving- They are just off US Route 27 Southbound, very near all the Avon Park fast food places. If it's busy, park over to the left of the building. Ambience- The business has posted great photos, so I won't reinvent the wheel. The waiting room is basic and clean and most importantly, the chairs are comfortable. Customer Service- Solid as a rock! I blame the owner for his excellent hiring skills! Towing- 24/7, 365 days a year! Even if you're an impaired driver on New Year's Eve, these are your guys! Check their map on Yelp for the area they cover. Services- If it grinds or squeals or thunks or just plain fails, these guys will figure it out. Of course, they do regular service every X thousand miles. You know the deal. Pricing & Value- I'm like most folks. I just had what I thought would be the plumbing day from hell!…read more My hot water heater is in my garage and suddenly there was substantial water running from underneath it. I called these fine folks who I've been using for years, Oh s**t! It was not a hot water heater leak but a "slab leak" that just happened to be near the heater. That's right, there was a break underneath my concrete slab. Oh, double s**t! I had visions of $$$$ dancing in my head. These fine folks quickly mobilized a team of three guys to deal with this potential disaster. The issue was additionally complicated as the hot water heater had to be drained, disconnected, and moved to get at the leak. Of course, a hole had to be cut into the slab. It took these guys the better part of a day to get it done. The result was almost magical! You would never know there was a hole in the slab underneath. As you can see my picture, the heater was beautifully reconnected, and everything was cleaned up very nicely. Best of all the price was extremely reasonable! Update- This business has now moved on to the second generation. The father retired and the son took over the business. This was the first time I dealt with the son. As expected, he was every bit as competent, honest, and personable as his father. Five stars!

I was told a price on the phone and Mr. Mosser repaired our issue using a simpler method and charged me barely half of what I was originally told on phone. I couldn't believe how fair and honest this company is. On a final note about my service, I was home alone while my husband was at work. Normally i'm very leery about allowing a man in my home whilst alone but Mr Mosser didn't linger or make me feel uncomfortable in any way. Feeling very blessed about my experience with this plumber.

Arriving- It's a teeny tiny place fronting Main St. and next to Ace Hardware. It's about a minute from US route 27. Pro Tip- If you are going to be waiting, there are multiple restaurants and a great dive bar within walking distance. Just check Yelp. Ambience- Sorry, there isn't any. If that's what you're looking for, go elsewhere. Folks come here because they want quality work, priced fairly, and completed in a reasonable time. Customer Service- I've only ever interacted with the owner. This guy really knows his stuff! He's also darn good explaining the issues to folks that don't speak "Car." I've spoken with multiple happy customers who have specifically mentioned this! Services- He is a General Mechanic and is especially well known for resolving electrical issues. Conclusion- Because he's so small, he books up quick. Also, the last time I was there, payment was cash or check only.
