I was just looking up TypeWork Studios phone number on the computer to call them to do some repeat…read morebusiness since I have been a satisfied customer of theirs for years and came across the negative review by Renee P. I actually started to laugh at the completely false depiction of Jason Feltz, but as a business owner I am aware of how damaging negative reviews can be even if completely fabricated. Jason and Bethnay are so incredibly easy going and accommodating when working with them it feels like your just hanging out with friends. The only difference is they are listening and doing their job and have exceed my expectations every time we have worked together. I support TypeWork Studio and cry foul on Renee P.. My name is Eric Troidl and I own Troidl Optical and am a happy satisfied client and have and will continue to do business with TypeWork Studio.

I contracted Jason Feltz owner of Typework Studio to create a logo for my company. I spoke with…read moreJason prior to hiring him and asked him specific questions and spent a good amount of time on the phone with him. I expressed just what I was looking for in a company as well as my logo. I specifically stated that I wanted my logo to be "unique", to stand out from the rest and be memorable. I also completed a questionnaire that states this as well. I also asked Jason about his process and he stated that he creates all of his logos from scratch. The logos I received were far from unique. Each one was more horrible than the next. Jason requires a first deposit so that he will begin the work. Jason won't move forward on edits or discussing edits until you pay him the final deposit. If you do not pay him the second deposit, he will just tell you he is keeping your first deposit even though he did not complete the job. Basically you have sketches that you can't do anything with. So, I paid Jason the first deposit and then the second so that he would complete the job. I did choose a logo (an exclamation point) but I was not completely satisfied with it and neither was my partner. I asked Jason if he could create another set of logos, I even searched the net to find a logo that I liked and asked if he could create something like it. Jason did create the logo I sent to him.. it was the same exact logo but in different colors. It was missing shading so I had mentioned that to him and he stated that he couldn't make me that logo because it would be against the law. I told him that I wanted a logo like it with two different meanings and he said no. I expressed that one of the logos he sent to me that he said he created from scratch was a logo that another company was using and he stated he couldn't control that. So, I told Jason that unless he provided me with 6 new logos or didn't want to continue to work with me, I wanted my money back. This is when Jason became extremely rude. He insulted me. He was not professional in the least. After exchanging many emails with him over the course of the next week, I decided on November 9th to call him as he did nothing to reach out to me. My goal was to try and resolve the situation amicably. However Jason was even more rude on the phone stating things like "you didn't schedule an appointment for this call. My time is more valuable than yours".. he made a racist remark to me, he went on to say "I don't care about my reputation".. "what harm could you do to me, you are just one person".. this after I told him I was going to contact the BBB and other consumer advocates to report the way he treats his customers. Also on November 9th, Jason revealed to me that he does not create his logos from scratch as he had initially told me before I hired him. He stated that he chooses his logos from a catalog. This was very shocking to me. It also meant that he lied to me originally. I wasn't paying for a logo to be chosen from a catalog and it also explains why one of the logos he sent to me looks exactly like someone else's. During this call Jason tried to hang up on me quite a few times stating "are you done yet".. "I don't have time for this"... he finally did hang up on me after he made the racist remark and I said.. "wow.. that was very racist".. here is a snippet of an email he sent me right after he hung up on me.. "I did not intend to convey any racial implications by my comment, I was referring more to debt slavery, as many designers hired by web based logo companies make very little money - I know some who have tried unsuccessfully, ending up with more debt and not able to pay school loans, etc. Again, my apologies for the misunderstanding - I wasn't thinking as slowly as I should have, you were obviously prepared for the phone call - I was not prepared for your phone call at all. I understand you will not be satisfied by this and understand you have the clear right to proceed any way you wish. best, Jason Feltz" However, he was singing a different tune on the phone. He told me that we had no contract so I would not be able to get a refund. I had no proof of anything that was originally said during our first phone call. I am completely frustrated and upset and would never recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a logo for their company. Jason, does not care about making his customers happy. He did also state that nobody has ever written a bad review of him, not even his unhappy customers who were not happy with his work and he had many. Well, I felt that it was time someone said something about his behavior and work ethic!!

I really, really like my car... If I can describe vehicular "umammi" as driving my car? Yep, that…read morepretty much would describe it. At least for me. Anyhow... Buffalo winter took its toll on her interior real bad this year. We kept the outside as clean as we could, but neglected the inside. I'm flushed with embarrassment thinking about how bad I actually let it get. Remnants of Rusty, going to Smooches for Pooches, and other stuff... sad to say...We lost our umammi mojo. It's gonna take me a month to harness it again. Bring in Art Lazazzero, of Wilde Art. The date for Si's trip to the spa has arrived! Used their convenient key drop off box, Art called me to confirm our appointment and that he would call me when she's had enough pampering. "Dont forget to wash behind her ears!" I thought to say, but tucked that quip away into the severe cheesiness category. All day I thought about those spots he's NEVER going to reach. He can't get it that clean. Well.. I was wrong. We walked around outside while he explained his bathing techniques and massages with the buffer. My shines usually come out pretty good, but Art's was an exquisite shine! Saddle into my bucket seats a scan the inside. The feeling I got reminded me of settling into my cozy beach chair at the beach. I could not find a spec of dust, or Rusty's hair, or dirt, or shoe scuffs on the door. Windows impeccably clear. The dashboard is black and not grey with dust. Can this be true? The "spots" I thought he'd miss? Spotless! Umammi is back!! The time Art spent with Si, you'd think he was cleaning his own car. His attention to the littlest detail will bring this guy back often. We talked about his tinting and wrapping services too which I plan on coming back for.
