I took my car to Santos Paint & Body shop on May 22, 2023 to have everything except the trunk and top painted. I had some previous work that was not done properly. Let me start off by saying there was never a problem with communication. Rene always responded to my calls and text messages and he sounded very professional and knowledgeable. I was initially told that he would have my car for at least 2 weeks. I received a call on June 3 informing me that my car was ready. I work during the day so my son picked up my car, I noticed areas that I wasn't happy with and I called Rene and showed him photos of the areas, he told me to bring my car back and they would fix the areas. I returned the car and received a call the next day stating that whomever fixed my car didn't do it correctly but he said his father had agreed to take on some jobs that the owners insurance companies had put in a rush on because the time the owners had for their rentals was expiring. He said he called because he didn't want me to be without a car for too long but would be able to get my car back in as a priority in 2 weeks. I told him I had an appointment on June 21 and would bring it in on June 22. On June 23, I received my car and again I call the shop to report dissatisfaction because areas that should have been fixed were not fixed. He asked me when I could bring my car Back to the shop and I decided to ask him what would be a good time for him because apparently they are rushing and not taking the time to do the job correctly. He told me to bring my car in on Wednesday, June 28th because Mondays and Tuesdays were busy and I said ok. I took my car back to his shop on June 28th and on June 29th, I'm calling to report areas that were not redone. The last time I called him he said he would remove the hood and front bumper and do the job himself to assure the areas would be fixed. Well, that didn't happen because there were 2 previous areas that were Still left undone and new areas that needed to be corrected. By this time I'm Beyond upset by the lack of professionalism. I sent him photos and he claims that he checked the car before it left and it was done correctly. Ohhh, so You checked it but you initially said you would do it YOURSELF so that it would be done correctly THIS Time! He had the nerve to tell me to bring my car back! REALLY?!? No Sir, I have brought my car to your shop SEVERAL times and Each time the same areas were either Not fixed or I found new blotched areas. Now, I will have to pay More money elsewhere to correct what I Paid you $3000 to do. I Do NOT and Would NOT recommend this establishment. It seems like they care more about taking money than doing quality work! The photos speak for themselves! Some of the photos I retook to include the date and I added the dates to the ones that say yesterday and today because those were literally taken yesterday or this morning. I made a poor decision backing out of an unfamiliar driveway resulting in damage to the front fender and wheel well of my Sonata. It wasn't serious enough to make finantial sense to be covered by my policy. I read a few reviews on Yelp about the good service provided by Rene at Santos P&B. I'm here to say the reviews are dead on! They had me fixed and back on the road in less than hour. Obviously, it will depend on your car/truck and amount of damage. So if you have need of a body shop, go to a familiar name in Waco if you want. But go by Santos for a second opinion. You may find that you'll save money without sacrificing quality! read more

My bumper was in pretty bad shape when I took it to them. Luckily they fixed it up to like new condition. They were flexible in scheduling the appointment and the price was very reasonable. I have taken my car in twice without and appointment and despite being backed up with business, he gladly helped me with a smile and immediately fixed my car. He was willing to drop everything for someone he didn't know!! He refused to accept money under my circumstances, but I am going back next week and look forward to PAYING!! When is the last time a paint and body shop got the work done for you on time and under budget? Santos did! I had a dent in my hood and some general rock chips, and he quoted me $400 to straighten and re-paint the whole hood. He had it done in two days and only charged me $350 instead of the $400 he estimated! My best experience in Waco, and honest, hard working craftsman who does great work. Thanks man! read more

I'm extremely satisfied with the quick, affordable and high quality body work done on my 2012 Nissan Sentra by the father & son crew at Santos Paint & Body. In my senior year of college I was involved in a fender-bender and my bumper cover and driver side fender both needed replacement. I had taken my car to a bodyshop in Austin, who after disassembling my car, quoted me 5-6K to replace various structural parts which they claimed were bent very slightly in the accident: that would have been half the value of the vehicle! Rene took a look at the damage and me I could buy the parts online for him to install: I was shocked b/c no bodyshop in Austin allowed me to do so (they make money on parts as well as labor, which I think is dishonest). I couldn't find repainted parts, and he offered to paint the bare parts for a much lower price than body shops in Austin. He also fixed some golf-ball dings on my door panel at a discount and adjusted my headlights for free as well. In total I spent less than 1K including the cost of parts that I purchased myself. When I picked it up, they had cleaned and waxed my car and it looked better than when I had gotten it new! I was impressed by how great the black paint job looked: I was worried that the factory black finish was "faded" and would stand-out from the fresh-painted panels, but this turned out to be a non-issue. I only wish I had the time to get this work done sooner, the damage was such an eyesore. My family will be using Santos for all future bodywork on our vehicles! read more
