The first time we walked in, they asked if we had a reservation. We said no, and they still sat us--thankfully--the wine selection was out of this world, and the frutti di mare was to die for. The kids had spaghetti Bolognese, and it was fantastic. The place was always busy. On our second visit , we called to make a reservation and they said that it was first come first served for the night, we had to wait - we thought, hey let's just walk around and see if there is availability somewhere else - everywhere else was dead ..(we had to go back), I tried the catch of the day--perfectly pulled fish with a fresh seasonal salad. I'm sure this is one of the best restaurants in Ravello. Just a tip: don't go too late. The service slipped from so-so to completely unattended for long stretches, which really took away from the experience. We ordered a Caprese salad and two pizzas, and everything we had was very good. The Caprese came out fairly quickly, probably within about 10 minutes, but unfortunately the pizzas took another 45-50 minutes after that. The frustrating part was watching several tables that sat down after us get their pizzas, eat, and basically finish their meals before ours ever arrived. It really seemed like our pizza order had been forgotten and only got started after someone realized what had happened. The staff was also fairly aloof throughout the meal and didn't seem particularly concerned about the delay. We also had a wasp aggressively bothering us at our original table, so we ended up moving, which seemed to annoy the staff a little, but there wasn't much we could do about that. Overall, the pizza and Caprese salad were genuinely very good, and the garden is a nice place to sit. It's a convenient option if you're already in Ravello or walking toward Villa Cimbrone, but given the service and how long we waited, I probably wouldn't go out of my way specifically to eat here.

I am not vegetarian but I don't eat seafood so I often find it easier to go with the vegetarian option which is what I did on this night. After choosing our menu options we were taken to our table overlooking the coast. Every dish that we had from the bread service to the post dessert desserts was absolutely phenomenal. I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite dish because everything was so insanely fresh and flavorful. This is definitely a pricey special occasion restaurant, but it was such an incredible experience in just the most romantic setting possible.
