What a wonderful place to start our first night in Italy. Service was great, hostess accommodated the fact that we spoke English (our Italian wasn't as good as we thought) they were so kind. The food was outstanding, gnocchi was homemade and melted in your mouth. Limoncello was given to us by the waiter and when we complemented it he gave us more complementary. Tiramisu was fantastic, I will dream about it. Highly recommend, if I could I would go back again before I left I would 100%. Tito's was directly across from our hotel so we decided to walk over for our last dinner in town. Excellent choice, we were seated right away and sat down promptly shortly after we were presented a complimentary glass of preseco which was very tasty. The service is a little slow but we found that to be common and really wasn't an issue as we weren't in a hurry anywhere we went. Plus it's kind of nice to not feel rushed. Soon after the owner or manager came to take our order and she was very good about answering our questions and also allowing us to alter our orders a little. I was craving rigatoni but wanted the carbonara and they had no problem pairing them up. The food was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was amazing. After enduring the Circumvesuviana, our Italian experience began with our amazing B&B host welcoming us to Vico, and shortly thereafter coming to Tito's at her strong recommendation. Wow. The level of service and hospitality is top-notch. The food is great and very fairly priced. The restaurant is nicely decorated, classy, and impeccably clean. Suffice to say our first impression of Italy was incredible! We went there twice during our stay. We tried the pasta dish with calamari and artichokes, the ravioli with walnut cream sauce, bolognese, and trecce genovese. All excellent. Their diavola pizza was also very good. The most delicious food we had on our entire trip and thats 3 days in France 3 days in Rome before arriving to the Amalfi coast ! The hospitality was beyond amazing. We were immediately swept off our feet we walked in and were greeted by the sweetest faces , then handed prosecco and the little ones some mango juice in flutes. The table was set and the ambiance did not disappoint. Then came the bread, the food and drinks that never stopped flowing our glasses never seemed to be empty (we had cokes lol to be clear) and maybe a limoncello or two :) the best part is that the bill for four meals drinks and appetizers was only 63 Euros we were blown out of the water ! Titos was recommended to us by our hotel and what a great recommendation it was! We ate here our first night in Italy and came back again. We had small glasses of complimentary Prosecco to start the meal as well as complimentary fresh Limoncello made in house to end the night! The homemade pasta was perfect and set a standard for the rest of the trip. Service was excellent and made you feel right at home. We even had dinner nearby another night and were trying to catch a taxi to our hotel, but after no luck, we stopped in Titos for help. As soon as my family and I walked up to the restaurant the male waiter asked me if I had a reservation? Reservation for a semi empty restaurant? Thankfully a lady waitress stepped in and welcomed us with a friendly gesture. For dinner I asked for the chateaubriand and asked for it to be medium well. He brought it out still dripping blood and proceeded to somewhat cook it on the hot stone. He probably wasn't to fond of us being there that he actually dropped a big chunk of meat which he brought out later totally undercooked. My son ordered the chicken dish which was delicious. I would have totally given this restaurant 4 stars but it's not good to come as a tourist and be profiled! read more

One of the best meals we've had in Italy, and that's saying a lot! The restaurant is welcoming and cozy. The menu is well thought out and features pasta, fish and meat. My wife had the Tuna Rosso which was perfectly done al sangue; I had the lampuga (aka mahi mahi) which was also perfectly cooked. Desserts were sinfully good and not to be missed. The service was on point and the owner (who spoke very good English) was a great help in explaining the menu and suggesting some variations to the dishes that added to the dining experience. Our dinner at Tito's was easily one of the best meals we had on the Amalfi coast. We showed up around 7 pm and were seated immediately on their gorgeous patio and welcomed with a small pour of complimentary prosecco. I had been craving carbonara since I landed in Italy, and theirs did not disappoint. The housemade pasta was fresh and al dente, and the carbonara was perfectly creamy and cheesy without being too egg-y. I didn't realize when I ordered that this particular carbonara was prepared with zucchini instead of pancetta, but it actually worked well as the veggie helped break up the richness of the dish. I sample a few forkfuls of my friend's squid ink seafood pasta, and it was equally amazing. Portion sizes were definitely generous. I'm not a wine connoisseur by any means but I thought the house red was delicious, and a steal at €3.50 a glass. Though their dessert selection did look delicious, I highly suggest you walk a couple blocks up the street to Gabriela's for gelato or Italian pastry. They also gave us a bottle of complimentary limoncello, easily 4-5 shots worth, which was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. We passed by this restaurant several times while we were in town and decided to eat here one evening. I asked the host whether they had some dishes that were non-dairy since my daughter has allergies. As I was trying to explain things, he cut me off and rudely told me what was available. What I wanted to ask him was if there was anything on the menu that didn't contain milk since I am breastfeeding her. I was so put off by his rudeness that I wanted to walk out. The more we talked to him, he seemed nicer. But then he again was condescending towards us. He asked where we stayed and I asked if there were other nice hotels around. He flat out said our hotel was mid-level and that there were much nicer hotels out there. We told him that we liked our hotel and that we had a sea view. His response was, "well it's far away from the sea." Lol. It was so snobby. I don't know if this is a cultural misunderstanding but we were really annoyed that he seemed so rude. Oh well, the food was decent. We ordered the seafood risotto and the sorrento gnocchi. It was pretty decent. If you can stomach the semi-rude and impatient treatment, eat here. read more

Great food, excellent service every time we ate at Titos. We tried several dishes and all were very, very good. The pasta and risotto were cooked perfectly. The octopus and polenta toast appetizer was amazing. On our last visit I decided to try the pizza and ordered "The Tito." Hands down the best pizza I have had in Italy. Salvatorie was our waiter and is very gracious and attentive. It is always quiet and we can't figure out why it isn't packed. My family and I went to this restaurant during our summer vacation in Italy. We were just walking around and this restaurant attracted our attention. The location is beautiful they have indoor and outdoor seating the staff is the sweetest and friendlies. The food is also amazing they have such a great variety the pastas,pizza and seafood all highly recommended.
