If you find yourself in Amalfi you absolutely MUST GO HERE!!! Quite literally the best food, best wine and best service in all of Italy. We got the sweet potato risotto, catch of the day (sea bass) and macheronni and they were all incredible. Also cannot skip dessert here. The tiramisu was to die for. Our servers Emmanuel and Frank were the best people ever and gave us amazing recommendations and literally so kind. 10/10 you do not want to miss this place!! It is also in the heart of amalfi so a perfect place to go after the beach and a little shopping!!!

They had the best meal we ate during our three days in Amalfi. Food and wine were delicious, servers were nice (a little slow, but expected in Italy). I would absolutely come back for another meal!

They gave us a little Santa for my niece to entertain her

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. The food was some of the best I had in Italy; the lamb made us say "omg" out loud and the tirami-choux was unique and delicious. The reason this restaurant gets 5/5 stars however is not only because the food is delicious, but because the service was next level. We had two amazing gentlemen tend to our every need. They went above and beyond to give us non-alcoholic starting drinks (which were amazing), took special requests to accommodate food restrictions, and even gave my niece a little Santa to entertain her and gave her extra plates of veggies so we could feed her as well. Truly one of the best dining experiences I've had, and well worth the visit between all the many options within Amalfi.

This is a tiny place but full of charm. We booked reservations for five on a Saturday night and were well taken care of. The owner was hospitable and came to converse with us several times during our meal even though it was during the busy time. We seemed to have a team of waiters for our table and never felt neglected. We ordered grilled anchovies, lasagna, shrimp scampi, Margherita pizza and mixed salads. To end the meal, we ordered an assortment of treats: lemon cake, lemon sorbet and rum baba. Luckily for us, they also had inside entertainment during the meal. Perfecto! Tip: tables are tightly packed and place fills up quickly. It gets warm, so dress in layers. Many ladies were fanning themselves during the meal.

Following the recommendations of other yelpers, we ordered the special spaghetti with clams sauce as well as the tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce. Both were well prepared. The special sauce was indeed just that for the clams. The Bolognese sauce has the right amount of creamy. Bravo to the chef. This was indeed the best meal we had in the Amalfi coast after four days of disappointing meals. I highly recommend this establishment. One word of advice. Please wait to be seated as some of the tables are reserved. Tourists should not just feel entitled to seat themselves. Do not forget that we are guests and must abide by the local customs and ettiquete.

We had a very nice dinner here. Went for their set menu as there were items in there that we wouldn't ordinarily have selected. Started with the bruschetta. The tomatoes were so fresh. Then had the mussels and clam pasta each which were both very tasty. For mains had seafood, one was bass and the other fried shrimp and anchovies. Never tasted fried anchovies before, not salty at all and had lots of flavour to it. Dessert was fresh fruits and cake in a light creamy sauce washed down with limoncello.

    Very tasty homemade seafood pasta.

Tasty restaurant recommended by our hotel. It wasn't too hard to find- in an alley outside Piazza Duomo. The Ravello red wine, at 5€ for half a bottle was mighty tasty and affordable! We started off with the cheese and vegetable appetizer- I forgot the name, but it was excellent! Perfectly seasoned and baked just right! It came out sizzling to the table. Sorry fajitas, this was much better. The homemade pasta was very generous and fresh. Because our hotel recommended us this restaurant, we showed our waiter a business card and got free limoncello. The service was spotty- there were extended periods of waiting. Hey, you're in Italy though, so it's not that bad. Just drink wine and don't worry about it. I would recommend reservations, as the restaurant is small and rather popular. Enjoy!

We read about this in The Fodor's Travel book from our hotel in Positano. We took the city bus to Amalfi for 1 euro. We walked around the square. This was recommended in Fodor's as where the locals eat. The price is much better than the square with all the tourists. We had the seafood salad, grilled vegetables, sea bass, and chicken cacciatore. We even got a half bottle of house wine which was great. All of this for 55 euro. Don't miss this place.

Zuppa di Pesce - amazing !!!!

This was one of the only dinners we had not planned on our trip, but oh my gosh am I glad we stumbled upon it. By far my favorite dinner and wish we had another night to go again!!! I've been eating gluten the whole trip, but figured I'd try the gluten free bruschetta. Super cool they offered it along with pizza and pasta too. I ordered the Zuppa di Pesce and Sea Bass. My boyfriend ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese and Steak. The bottle of wine was the house and delicious. The waiter came back and told me the kitchen said the Zuppa di Pesce was not gluten free. How nice!! But I said it was ok ha! Instead of the gluten free bruschetta we were handed the regular on the house and breadsticks that tasted like amazing taralli. Yummmm. Our first courses shortly proceeded and we were amazed. Best Zuppa di Pesce ever. Crispy croutons atop, sprinkle of cheese, chopped fish and vegetables. I was overwhelmed with gluten and cheese, but after my first bite said OH WELL! Absolutely heavenly. His pasta was scarfed down as well. Awesome presentation too. We were so full and didn't even need the next course. We asked if we could wait, but they said only a few minutes since it was started. Oh well!! The Sea Bass was brought whole, but then the waiter kindly took it back and filleted it. How nice! Not sure if they always do? His Steak was nicely chopped in a delicious salad with amazing caramelized onions I tasted. Good thing these courses were light. Pizza looked amazing too from other tables. Funny that bread was brought in a bag, but good too. Skipped on dessert (grabbed chocolate down the street), but ordered limoncello. On the house! Pretty inexpensive dinner and our favorite. Go!!

This restaurant is up the alley right off of the main stop in Amalfi (where the tourist busses stop). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They genuinely care about your entire dinning experience. The restaurant has a modern yet quaint feel and is very clean. The food is fresh, made to order and some dishes are inventive. Among other things; I enjoyed homemade ravioli with ricotta cheese, burst tomatoes, and squid. It was seasoned perfectly and was aromatic. My pasta was rolled to the correct consistency, had the perfect filling to pasta ratio, and was cooked just long enough. My husband enjoyed his spaghetti and clams. He had many good comments about the plating, which we both appreciate as your first bite is always with your eyes!

We did manage to throttle back and not eat all of it lol, as we wanted to still enjoy our starter and pizza. The oils provided were the perfect compliment for the bread, the salad (and the crust of the pizza). Salad was fresh and light. Pizza rolled out next and we still believe this to be the best pizza we ever had. Not heavy, but filling. The flavors were so rich and bright. Of course I had to have a local beer which paired well. The seating was outside, which was covered in an ivy like feel. It was lemon trees providing adequate sun coverage and of course looked beautiful. We would highly recommend checking out Donna Stella if you're in Amalfi.

There was a wait but they seemed to remember faces and I did get seated after about 30 minutes, though they did seem pretty busy for a Sunday night. I ordered the lemon ravioli since I had been eating a lot of pizza and read that people enjoyed it. In my opinion, the lemon ravioli didn't have as much flavor as I would have liked, it seemed a little bland and didn't really taste like there was much lemon flavor and the quantity was a little small. Cooked well though. I think I would come back again but order the pizza instead. They did have a longer wait if you didn't make a reservation. Their lemon tiramisu (8€) was definitely worth it. Very creamy and not too sweet and had more of that lemon flavor that I was looking for. I wish I had come in a group, so they I could have tried more things, but no worries that can be next time.

We started with an amuse-bouche (compliments of the chef), which was a parmesan cracker with ricotta. We shared two appetizers among the four of us - a tuna carpaccio in citrus fruit and poached eggs with black truffle. The poached egg came in a sauce that was totally delicious and mop-able with bread. The tuna was fantastic and very light. For the main, our table split the pasta stuffed with burrata and black truffle and the risotto with red shrimp in lemon sauce. Absolutely incredible! The risotto was soooo refreshing and light and cooked perfectly. The truffle pasta was full umami flavor and a flavor party. We ended with delicious desserts, my husband got the hazelnut coffee which he loved and I got a lemon assortment. This had a lemon cream brulee sort of preparation which I loved. The wines here were also fantastic and the service prompt and great!
