We came in on a Saturday night, around 12am and it was dead. I was trying to figure out WHY?!?!! On a Saturday.... Anyways. Disappointed that they do not do the banners (safety issues bc of the sparklers that are used, which I totally understand) The music was lit! I was really enjoying the music. As soon as we walked in we were sold on buying a bottle but the vibe was just not there so before they even brought the bottle we canceled it. I also did not like the booth sitting area. The girls were not it. 90% did NOT have stripper bodies. They looked ghetto. None of the girls looked appetizing enough for me to throw my money at them. We decided to leave. The guy who was helping us tried very hard to persuade us to stay. I told him it was lit enough for me to wanna stay and he proceeded to explain how if I went elsewhere (like the Bronx, where stripclubs are lit) we would get robbed and it's more dangerous and blah blah blah. He just wanted us to spend our money there since it was so empty. We grabbed a margarita and it was sooooo sour and strong, me and my friend quickly finished it and got out of there. Anyways. This place is fraudulent. Their waiters write in astronomical tips -- as much as as 200% of the drinks -- after you sign. The handwriting on the receipt looks nothing like yours -- because it isn't -- and of course most people, like me, tip in the 15% to 20% range, not 100% or more. And then, when you tell management that they've got thieves on their wait staff, they ghost you. Stay away from this place -- unless you like being stolen from. It was interesting that the doorman asked me to show my ID for scanning, as a photocopy wasn't enough. When I went to Sapphire 39 and other clubs, there was no such requirement. He told me to go back and get my ID, but I decided not to return to that club that night. It felt like he might have been playing me. read more

Great setup here as soon as you walk in the place. I love the blue light background and so far the few times that I have been here I have had a great time. I actually came in the begin on August 1 st which was only the second day of its existence. Honestly, it does not even feel like a Times Square atmosphere, it was more laid back and chill than most strip clubs. Drinks that I did get so far have been all pretty strong, typical favs like Rum and coke or Makers Mark on the rocks are what I order. You can get two for one drinks on Fridays from 4 PM to 7 PM, I KNOW kind of early for a typical strip Club visit but come early and get rid of that work stress from the entire week. The dancers are all varieties and all shapes and sizes. No matter what you like you should be satisfied getting a lap dance or two. Last time I was here had two great dances with Tracey , she was a cute Canada babe. In August , I saw a very thick Woman from the Phillipines, she was probably the prettiest woman I have seen there but unfortunately have not found her again. The prices are very high, there is no service. The bartender can sit on the phone for 15 minutes when a guest is waiting for her. There are few beautiful girls. And those who come and they are chosen more often than those who are good at sucking up to the boss and bribing managers and hostesses, they can be kicked out for crossing that girl. The rules apply selectively to girls depending on the manager's sympathy. It is located in Times Square, but there are as many people as in a small town. People do not come back there, a lot of deception, persistence and begging for tips. This is not even about the dancers. Girls are required to go to a private room through the hostess. They can name a client who sat in an expensive VIP room for several hours "cheap" because he refused to buy champagne for the waitress. The hostess can say that there are no rooms for a certain girl, while others leave. And send the girls who pay him. The manager and house mama abuse their power and do not solve someone's cases and someone has great privileges. They take all the girls in a row, and very few men come. I've been going here for over 20 years when it was flash dancers. But now it's a higher end sapphire franchise like what was on the east side. Back then flash dancers actually had an awesome sushi bar! Now I hear they went down hill and moved to another location. Good news is that they still have sushi with the new sapphire franchise with really cool back page light up menus. I've never seen that before! The bad news is the menu is really limited and the sushi chef apparently refuses to serve the 3 choices of sashimi because the waitress said the quality of the fish is only good enough for sushi rolls. Having been to Sapphire in Las Vegas, my expectations ran high as I entered the steel gray blue entryway down the sleek stairs into an intimate but beautiful brand new strip club. It's New Years Eve, and after a glass of complimentary bubbly from a gorgeous bartender Meg, I'm guided to a table near the back with my friends, to let the ambience take me over. There are plenty of ladies. The music is loud and clear, but not overpowering. I can still hear the DJ clearly speak dancers names. Mallory, our server was super friendly and very attentive, but not overbearing (thank goodness). Lots of people coming in and its starting to get crowded, but I was very comfortable in my nice leather chair. What caught my eye, was Lacey. Highly entertaining and skilled on the pole, well crafted technique. Her eroticism, her demeanor, balanced with her dancing had me enamored. She smiled and my focus was devoted. Upon using the ladies room, I am greeted by the loveliest attendant, very polite and gracious. Walking back out I notice huge HD theater screen that play music videos, and I was told they show the UFC fights and the Superbowl on them too. Apparently you can purchase pre-paid packages online for the big games, etc. They even have karaoke rooms! There's a large selection of champagne, with many exclusive and highly sought after bottles such as Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, Dom Perignon P2 Rosé, and Ace of Spades. With all kinds of sensual buildup, I'm ready to leave 2019 with a bang (heh hemm), it was time to take this party into 2020. We got a bottle of Ace and found an intriguing young lady, Emma to take into a private room. Picture this, Emma, medium height, great curves and dark hair. In a fantasy of all fantasies, it may not just be her softly perfumed skin, or her beauty, but the WAY she looked at me and my girl friend and read into our souls, then she gently glides her body against mine. Sapphire's newest location is on point! When I heard it was in the times sq area I had a feeling it was going to be on a different level than the others. I mean....especially if you spend 6 million dollars to renovate. As soon as you walk thru the door you're hit with a sexy blue light lite stairway that leads down into the actual club. I'm a fan of the entire setup here. It's a smaller more intimate feel without feeling like you're on top of your neighbor. The bar is a huge wrap around bar with a view of the stage from all angles. All seating is in the front of the bar. Drinks (strong & delish) Bartenders (pretty, friendly & knew their liquor) Waitress (loved our waitress Annmarie. Checked on our table at the rt times, etc) Staff including doorman, bouncer, manager were all friendly and they remembered us when we came back a different time. Now for the part that actually makes or breaks a place like Sapphire....the dancers. 5* without a doubt! The ladies here are of all ethnicities (something for everyone), beautiful and have an upscale look to them!! There's nothing worse and such a turnoff when the women look like they were just pulled off the street. My wife and I were regulars at Flashdancers for many years and very disappointed when it closed last year. Last night, we finally had the opportunity to check out Sapphire at the same location. Easily, the best strip club we've ever been to in NYC. They've obviously put a ton of money into the place, resulting in a really beautiful ultra-modern facility. My wife used to dance at VIP, Stiletto, Lace, Goldfingers, Hott 22, Smiles, and Gallagher's 2000, where I worked with her doing security and, later, opening the place up 4 days a week and managing the day shift for a few months. She also danced a few nights at Cheetah's, Spearmint Rhino, and (full disclosure) at Sapphire the last time we went out there for vacation about 10 years ago. I'm a writer by profession, and the first paid writing gig I ever had after law school was reviewing these clubs for "Mentertainment Magazine" 25 years ago. Generally, we avoid "upscale" clubs, because they usually have stricter dress codes, more arbitrary rules in general, and worse staff attitudes than other good strip clubs where the dancers are just as hot but without anybody constantly trying to "upsell" you or whose only function seems to be telling paying customers where you can't sit or stand. This place is the perfect mix of everything we look for in a strip club. The facility is about as upscale as you can get and somebody in management really knows what he's doing by not bothering or turning away otherwise-respectable-looking customers dressed in clean casual clothes, because it looks like the kind of place that would have exactly that type of policy. At the same time, the place is absolutely perfect for business people entertaining clients. Two of the managers (Roni and Kurt) introduced themselves to us, kind of gave us the "VIP" treatment (without trying to sell us anything beyond letting us know what's available), and provided their cards before we left, telling us to let them know we're coming next time. The club is definitely very couple-friendly. I've never written a yelp review of any type of business in my life, but I genuinely wanted to reciprocate for the outstanding service they provided, so I signed up specifically to leave this review. The managers, hosts, and bouncers ALL make eye contact and greet you politely and they've obviously been trained to be helpful rather than menacing the way they are at a lot of clubs and for absolutely no reason. The waitresses were attentive without being pushy at all; and nobody ever swooped down on us with a clipboard and a lighted pen to offer us the champagne room the second they noticed us getting more than a couple of dances from the same girl. Nobody ever came over to obligate us (or embarrass us into having to decline) to buy drinks for every girl we happened to sit with for a few minutes, which is something I absolutely can't stand and for which I will immediately cross a club off my list. Basically, the whole staff is on point ready to take care of you but they all stay completely out of your way if you happen not to need anything. Management has obviously also avoided another common NYC strip club mistake of hiring only a very narrow range of "types" of dancers, which usually reflects little more than the personal taste of whomever is in charge of hiring talent. Whatever your type of girl, they're there, and they're hot; and this was on a Wednesday, by the way. I'm guessing it only gets better Thursday through Saturday. The dancers were friendly and approachable, but nobody rushed over to offer us a dance the instant we happened to make incidental eye contact, either. My personal style is not to get a lot of dances from different girls, but to take my time finding my strip-club wife (or two) for the evening and let her take all my money if she gives good dances. The first girl who danced for me (a petite curvy brunette from Reno named Aries) was so friendly and into the conversation that I had to remind her (twice) that she was working and that I didn't want to monopolize her time talking at her expense, which is a very welcome change from the more typical 45 seconds girls give you at most NYC clubs to ask you, robotically: (1) "What's your name?" (2) "Where are you from?" and then (3) "Do you want a dance?" and immediately spin around and disappear as though you just farted if you don't happen to want a dance at that moment or from that particular girl. We probably talked for at least 20 minutes before she did the first of about 8 dances. A hard-body Latina (whose stage name I didn't get) basically glued herself to my wife when she found out that she used to dance and they did their thing, which is always hot to see. One other girl did about 10 dances for me and left me with $5 in my pocket (a petite blonde Korean sexpot named Bora) who was also friendly but all about the dances and wasted no time getting started. My wife and I went there Tuesday evening and the place is amazing. I never post on Yelp, usually leave that up to my wife, but in this case I had to post a review. Much different looking than any other gentleman's club in NYC. Lots of girls, all top of the line. We bought a bottle of champagne and a parade of beautiful waitresses came out with a show that included confetti!!!! Staff is super amazing. We took a tour of the private rooms which are extremely impressive and even took a 1/2 session with a really hot blonde. There is a new hot spot in NYC right in Times Square. We went to Sapphire's TS on a Sunday night, so maybe not at their best, but come on, this is New York and we expected at least to have a good time. We were encouraged when we walked in, went up the bar and the bartender was great (we later found she was actually the cutest girl in the bar as well). Girls on stage were fairly average, thin, totally disinterested, looked bored. DJ kept calling out for the next girl to come on stage and no one would show it. They kept having to go track them down. We sat at a table right in front of the stage and no one came up to us, no waitress, no girls, nothing. We finally had to flag a waitress down to get a drink (she was friendly enough). They have a couple of small stages (even the main stage is small), girls can barely get up the pole a foot or two. Totally lame experience. I was more interested in the football game on TV. Don't waste your money. Cover was $20 and that's $20 well spent elsewhere. read more
