The restaurant is quaint, the service was excellent, the portions were large and extremely tasty. An excellent experience!

The waitress was very nice. The food and wine were both mediocre. No wonder I was the only one dining.

Fresh made pasta is out of this world. House made desserts that are so light you wouldn't believe they are real. And the service is top notch. So friendly and attentive, even with our 3 year old! We will absolutely be back again and again.

This tiny 25 seat restaurant is family owned and operated and has a homey feel - sort of like visiting relatives in Italy. Parking is available in the lot in front of the line of shops in Gulf Gate. There is a big step up into the restaurant from the sidewalk Several things to expect: Size and speed - make a reservation. Weekends will be busy, noisy and slow. The kitchen is small, Leonardo the only chef. Be patient and settle in Language - make believe you are not in the USA. Marcia is from Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese, passable Spanish and a little Italian. English, not so much. Take your time here and enjoy your time with her - she's delightful and the work to communicate is part of the fun! Alcohol = Wine - the wine list is 100% Italian and offers a great range of flavors and price points. Explore! Fresh bread and a marinated eggplant "spaghetti" are table greeters. The Veal Parmigiana was outstanding! The raviolis were fresh and tasty but my only criticism is they could have used more of the billed ingredient (truffles, eggplant) The desserts- OMG - Marcia makes the lemon cake herself. It was amazing. The Tiramisu was probably one of the best ever. We chatted with them, another patron and left happy, full and ready for a nap! Ciao!

I've been waiting to try this spot and we finally made it there for dinner yesterday…read more The ambiance is nice, small place, cute and welcoming. The waitress was fantastic and the other employees were giving a helping hand when needed. Some of The Italian food items on the menu were slightly different than what we would normally see. We had some very good warm bread which seemed homemade we also ordered the eggplant for an appetizer and it was delicious and cooked appropriately with a nice sauce, then we had our main course cacio e Pepe which was rich and very flavorful, and I had the ravioli stuffed with sausage ( thought I would give it a try for I never had ravioli with sausage? Ive eaten them with beef, veal, lobster ricotta, pumpkin, burrata, but never sausage) the sauce was really good and the presentation was great but unfortunately that kind of ravioli is not for me. If you're a sausage lover then this would be up your alley, but it didn't work for me. I think putting one dish on the menu that offers a simple straight forward item like gnocchi or rigatoni with a nice plain red sauce would make for a well rounded menu. We then ordered dessert, the espresso was smooth & rich, the tiramisu was perfect (loved the amaretto) and lemon sorbet was something to remember, both were delicious and very memorable! I wish the owners a successful future. Bona fortuna Food 8.0 Dessert 9.0 Service 9.0 Ambiance 8.0

While Bohemios is tapas, they also offer some full plate dishes such as the Paella and our other dish, Bohemios Churrasco. We definitely liked the food. The Paella had a mild familiar flavor. It could have used more seafood but for the price, I was more than satisfied. The Churrasco steak was cooked perfectly for me and their zesty chimichurri sauce made it excellent. I didn't try the side of Gallo Pinto, I don't really like most beans, but my wife seemed to enjoy it. The fried sweet plantains were delicious. Another thing I did enjoy was their Mediterranean Bruschetta, three pieces stacked high, what a great start to the meal. Bohemios is a smallish place with about 8 tables and maybe a dozen bar seats inside, a few more tables outside. Reservations are recommended. Our server was a fun, outgoing, memorable guy and we loved all our interactions. The pace of the meal was good, about 10 minutes for the Bruschetta, another 10 after we finished for the main course. We picked a bad day for only one reason, the guitar player was out with an injury.
