The selection of meals are plentiful from just enough to and 18oz veal rib which I ordered with mashed potatoes. I like mine med rare it came out med and that was fine to. Very tasty I will say. Me lady got the homemade fettuccine with mushrooms and sausage with delicious truffle sauce there was only one waitress but the place is laid out where one person serving is not overwhelmed and the service was great she greeted us with a smile hard to find these days on anybody . The inside has a fresh clean look very inviting, does it look like a place in Italy how should I know I've never been. I will say the food is worth the trip. I bet you want to know the prices. So the meals start at $16 to $44 which is the veal rib. This is there thrid week open and they are getting a lot of business. Take ur home pots up there and eat this is SARASOTA EVERYBODy has money. Treat yourself you deserve it

So glad we found this little gem. The ambience is cozy yet contemporary. The service was excellent. Our server described the dishes, made recommendations and was tentative throughout our dining experience. The food is yummy. Truly authentic Italian cuisine. Super fresh sauces, handmade pastas and bright crisp salads. We started with a insalata caprese. Our entrees were equally delicious and fresh: gnocchetti Al Vino and casarecce Al pistachio. Highly recommend each of the dishes.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a newer authentic Italian restaurant in Sarasota, and I have to say--it's easily one of the better Italian spots I've been to in the area. The homemade pasta was absolutely incredible--fresh, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care and tradition.

Cacio is PERFECTION! The ambience and customer service are elite-level. Laura, our host and server, is an absolute sweetheart who glows with passion and enthusiasm. I've had the pleasure of dining in Rome, Naples, and Sardinia. Cacio is like bringing five-star Italian culinary heaven to Sarasota. We had the insalata caprese (so light and refreshing) gnocchetti gorgonzola (amazing blend of pear walnut and gorgonzola fondue), fettuccine calabrese (nice spicy kick), sweet crunchy cannolis, and the loveliest rich espresso. This place is a GEM. Can't wait to go back.

Both food and service were great. Highly recommend. Pasta and sauce was cooked to perfection.

This was my 2nd visit here but my first review. I didn't write my review the first time because my…read moreexperience with a party of 8 was absolutely perfect. So I thought I HAD to give it a second visit and see if my first time was just a lucky chance. Well, I went today for brunch and experienced another 5 star meal. Since it was as great a meal today, I'll comment on behalf of both. Greeted IMMEDIATELY upon entering the restaurant by a friendly up beat employee. The restaurant was very clean and seemed to be operating at a smooth pace. We were led to our table and handed our menus. Our server was with us almost immediately, smiling and greeting us to the restaurant. Menus were handed out and our questions were answered. We had 5 people in our party and ordered 4 blackberry Bellinis and I had a coffee old fashioned. We ALL raved about our drinks and after a few more questions, we ordered our meals: Crab Cake Benedict, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Chicken Sandwich and a Philly Steak Sandwich. All I can say is that EVERY plate was EMPTY! We ALL LOVED our food! It was hot, fresh tasting and delicious flavors. Even the fries were hot, crisp, fresh and seasoned perfectly. Forgot, Two of our party members ordered the wild mushroom torte, and...NOTHING left on the plate!! Our food was so awesome that we had to try 2 desserts: Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée and the Carrot Cake and yes...they were demolished and joined the 'Clean Plate Club'!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING AND EVERYONE IN OUR PARTY LEFT WITH AN AMAZINGLY AWESOME EXPERIENCE! GREAT job by EVERYONE WHO WORKED TODAY. Mic drop experience and I can't wait to go back!!!

It's probably a matter of taste and batch because we found one of the less briny ones very briny, but all were small and yummy. Calamari as an appetizer was delicious. The clams casino were just OK and the octopus was very tasty and tender. The lobster and risotto were both average at best. The risotto was underdone (not enough complain about) but enough that the dish wasn't delicious. The crabcake was exceptionally good - all crab very little if any filler, and perfectly cooked. The fish dish, which I don't remember the name of, came out in a very tomatoey sauce, and it was supposed to be more of a New Orleans style. It was tasty and the fish was tender. It was just the sauce was surprising - just too much tomato. Cocktails were fantastic and probably a high point at the beginning of the evening! All in all good, but not a reason to journey as far as we had to travel to get there

Found this place because of my Yelp community! It is a little hole in the wall, dive (which are…read moreoften the best places!) just a couple of blocks from Siesta Key Beach. It would be completely a miss on your map. We waited for a long time for a table, well past what we were quoted. There's not a lot of tables inside and a couple of bar seats. It is very small, we almost left, and the host said he would bring us food if we wanted to go next door and grab a drink. But it was well worth the wait. The host as well as our server were so friendly, so laid-back definitely beach vibes. They talked to us about how the owner was originally from upper Northeast came down and opened up the shop and they all were friends and worked together. You felt a great sense of a family to the staff. He recommended the grouper Reuben, which, maybe to some of you sounds kind of gross, but it was literally the best fish sandwich. I think I've ever had in my life. And i grew up on and still eat a lot of seafood. It was melted cheese. The fish was fresh. It was packed with fish, just enough sauerkraut and thousand Island to give it just a hint of Reuben. The fish remained the star and the bread was incredible too! The environment as you can see from my pictures it's just what you would expect a surf shack type of place to be and you literally could walk from the beach although we did drive after being at the beach all day. Highly highly recommend 10/10! Seek this place out if you're ever in Sarasota in Siesta Key Beach, it is the best and so fresh you won't regret it.

A few community tables so make sure you don't mind that. Service is a little gruff but that fits the vibe of this local fish market. We got the clam chowder, the peel and eat shrimp, and split a grouper sandwich, and a few beers. The clam chowder was tasty. Good meaty and creamy flavor. Comes out piping hot. The peel and eat shrimp was fantastic. Whatever sauce they use on it, a cajun, buttery, garlicky sauce was just amazing. Definitely worth getting if you like that kind of thing. The grouper sandwich was good. It needed a little bit of salt but I can see why this is a specialty here. Tender meat, good sauce. Definitely a top seafood spot if you're looking for something less tourist-y.

Obviously reviewed here on Yelp and Google (I will cross post this review on both) this looked like it was going to be tasty and enjoyable "MAINE COURSE!!!" It was! I have no idea who many actual lobsters or tacos and sandwich or desserts we took down but it looks like most of the 30 plus at the meeting were eating and enjoying themselves. I got the signature Maine Lobster (Lobstah) Roll, with/cole slaw & bag of (of course) Cape Cod chips. The buttery bread/roll and the lobster were stunning!!!!! Not little lobster bisque scraps of lobster!!! This was tail and claw hunks o' meat!!! REALLY nice. Also I got the New England Clam Chowder (Chowdah) to make sure I tried their main items (and keep it under 6,000 calories for the meal!!!!) This was a GREAT chowder and so very authentic as you would expect! with "chunks of clam" and nice potato content, not a starchy potato mash soup. GREAT job. I am getting a big 16 OZ bowl next time! Finally (and I will admit here since I don't think any of the flotilla folks will see it) since I am the Commander of the base and host for this event, the owner threw in an authentic Steve's Snacks Bakery, Skowhegan ME cold and creamy Maine Whoopie Pie for dessert. (as if my uniform was not already bulging to capacity! WOW! Had not had a whoopie pie for DECADES!!!! This thing is a monster and meal all by itself, But great every bit!!! THANK YOU The Maine Line you really made out guests and members happy and we were so pleased you came out!!! We received many requests to make this an annual event or possibly a few times a year.

Our table was nice and our server was friendly. The menu was varied, but of course triple tail was their specialty. We started out with warm crunchy rolls with butter and cinnamon butter. It was so good!!!! I got a Caesar salad which was fairly large and was really good. My entree was shrimp stuffed with crab, served over rice and a side of beans and carrots. The food arrived after we got to enjoy our salads, which I love. My entree arrived nice and hot. The shrimp and crab were delicious and I enjoyed the rice and vegetables. Service was good and prices were comparable to other restaurants of this type. I would definitely return.

Atmosphere - When we pulled into the parking lot of a strip mall, my expectations lessened quickly…read more I expected a very generic, sterile atmosphere. Thankfully, I was very pleased to find the opposite. The restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable. There are nice design touches throughout. Service - here is where I am a bit conflicted. We were a party of 4 who arrived 30 prior to our reservation with the goal of having a cocktail first at the bar. Fortunately there were seats available and we very much enjoyed our drinks and service at the bar. In fact, our bartender was very welcoming and she is a very good mixologist. On the other hand, our server for dinner started out on a positive note. However, once our order was taken and food delivered, he never stopped by until we had finished our meals. This is a very big negative for me when I am dining at an upscale restaurant. Food - There were at least 8 entrees that looked appealing to me. In the end, I ordered the Crab Stuffed Tripletail entree. This meal was as good as advertised! It was cooked to perfection and sauce was delicious. The entree included a salad and I chose the spinach salad and it too was very. Overall - while I could make a case for a 4 star rating (due to the disappointing experience with our server), in the end the many positives far outweighed the one negative.
