I arrived for the appointment about five minutes early and checked in with the receptionist. Rhea, who I had the appointment with was within an earshot as her chair is only a few feet away. Rhea said she didn't have any appointments and I must have been mistaken. The receptionist checked the book and confirmed that I had an appointment. Rhea was in the middle of coloring/dying a hairpiece on a mannequin head, very sloppily from what I could see. She said she would be with me when she was done, so I sat down and waited and waited. While she was doing the coloring, lunch arrived for her. She told me she would eat her lunch and she would with me shortly. I expressed that we were already 15 minutes into my time and now she was going to eat?! So she agrees and has me sit in her chair while she eats. The extension area if the salon on the other side is super busy. Rhea starts off by asking me why I'm there. If you could see my hair, you would know while I was there. It is very thin at the top and this is a wig/extension/hair loss salon. I had come in for a consultation and I wanted advice. I thought I had come to a place that was professional. She said I should consider a topper not a wig. I didn't know what a topper was and ask to see one. She didn't have anything that was near to my color so she put a blonde streaked topper on my auburn brown hair. It looked ridiculous as the color was so off and the density of the hair was so thick compared to my crown. Another customer comes in with a hairpiece she needs styled or colored. Rhea stops my appointment to attend to her while I wait again. Rhea showed me a product that was a powder filler you put in your hair to fill in thinning spots. It was a good match for my color so I said I would buy it. The sample she used was the only one she had left, and she sold it to me as a full sized product even though it had been open and used. I was charged $30 for an opened sample. I later found this elsewhere for $25. I wasn't very satisfied with a sample hairpiece she showed me as it didn't match either in color or in its density. I left feeling very frustrated by the attitude and unprofessionalism of this salon owner, regarding the appointment time, delayed start due to he engagement when I arrived, eating during service, and taking another customer in the middle of my consultation. This was quite a while ago, yet the experience was so bad that I haven't forgotten it. I saw an ad in Diablo magazine which prompted me to finally write a review. Responding to owner's response: Glad to hear you no longer do consultations leaving that to your staff. My consultation with you was on 10/22/21 at 1:30pm. As I said in my review, it was quite a while ago but not forgotten as it was so memorable. Losing hair is traumatic no matter the cause and being treated without respect or compassion by a hair salon geared towards wigs, extensions, toppers, etc is inexcusable. I told my regular stylist at Salon 9 this story and she was angry about my experience at Celebration. I would not subject myself to a return visit.

Mine wasn't easy but came out a perfect match to my topper. She is so kind and a perfectionist without the pretension . I didn't know how to put one on! She took the time to show me, answer a million questions and was patient the entire time. This is the kind of woman I'd like to go have coffee with! Funny, smart. No one else will ever touch my hair! You cannot find a better place or people if you have thinning hair and need help. I walked out of there feeling beautiful!

I knew I needed my hair taken out and re-done using the hand tied weft method (IMO this is the best method with the least amount of contact points which equals the least amount of damage) PLUS I had henna'd my hair so I desperately needed a color correction. Surprisingly, there are a lot of hair stylists who do not understand color theory/they can only install extensions- Tiffany is not one of those stylists. She knows her stuff. This has been the best experience I have had so far with extensions. She took my hair from being Ronald McDonald orange (from using henna) to a beautiful beige/blonde with a perfect level 6 foot. This woman is talented and I would highly recommend her! Not to mention, she is hilarious and was super fun to hang out and talk with during our 11 hour instal! (We had a bit of a color debacle with the extensions I got and she was able to lift a level 2 black all the way up to match my level 8 hair!) Also does not own up to her mistakes. See pictures I posted SAYING BINSKY ON THEM. I had been having my eyelashes done at iLash and Skincare Beauty Bar for a year having same eyelashes done every three weeks loyally. Yelped her 5 stars! Unfortunately ILash was closed due to hardship of illness so I was forced to find another. So I tried Michelle at Venus & Mars Salon. My first appointment and Michelle was quite late. When home after my lashes were done and using my magnifying mirror as I'm older and need this, I saw my left eye was perfectly done. However my right eye, the last eye she did, was not close to even being good. The left good eye had eyelashes put on to direct to outside of eye as natural eyelashes do. The right bad eye had eyelashes put on to direct to INSIDE of eye which IS NOT natural. These eyelashes were in the same condition the next morning and day as I tried to brush them the right way often but they always bounced back the wrong way. So....I contacted Michelle. I asked her for SOME reimbursement as she charged me $200 and I gave her a $40 tip and would she please fix these eyelashes better the next time I see her in 3 weeks. She credited me $80. I said thank you and to keep her $40 tip thinking she was going to correct next time being more aware of how she's placing my eyelashes. After that though......she texts me "I don't think we should keep your next appointment. I thought I did my best yesterday. I might just do the same job next time". MIND YOU I SHOWED HER THE PICTURES YOU SEE BELOW WHICH CLEARLY SHOW THE LASHES GOING THE WRONG WAY. She then texts me "I'm afraid I will disappoint you again". I said it's okay everyone makes mistakes and we can correct it in three weeks when I come back. She texts me again "But I don't think I can handle the stress to work on your lashes again". I HAVE ALL THESE TEXTS IF YOU'D LIKE ME TO POST THEM. At that time I texted "Okay but that really is not good business practice. You shouldn't be stressed out when a customer is unsatisfied. You do your best to keep customers and then they refer you out to others. Give you good reviews. The pictures I gave you speak for themselves. Surely you must have seen it with your own eyes. I had my eyelashes done for a year consecutively by someone else who didn't do this. I have comparison." SO SO SO DISAPPOINTED HOW A BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL GETS THEIR BUTT HURT BECAUSE CUSTOMERS CALL THEM OUT ON THEIR ERRORS AND THEN THEY RUN AND HIDE??? REALLY.
