I don't usually write reviews like this, but my experience at Celebration Salon has meant so much to me that I feel compelled to share it. Walking in for the first time, I was honestly nervous and emotional. Hair loss is such a deeply personal thing, and for a long time I didn't feel like myself anymore. But from the moment I met Rhea, something shifted. She didn't just see my hair, she truly saw me. She listened without judgment, with so much patience and compassion, and for the first time in a long time, I felt a sense of hope. What also stood out right away was how warm and welcoming the entire staff is. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with kindness and genuine care. The salon's private setting makes it feel safe to open up, and I never once feel rushed. Every step of the process was handled with such intention and attention to detail. When I finally saw the result, something so natural, so me, I actually got emotional. It wasn't just about how I looked, it was about how I felt. I felt like I had a piece of myself back. Now, I walk out of every appointment feeling lighter, more confident, and honestly, more like myself again. I can't recommend Celebration Salon enough, it's more than just a service, it's an experience that truly changes how you feel about yourself. read more

I used the salon's website to send a message for a wig consultation and requested an appointment. I never got a call or an email back so I gave them a call and made an appointment. I arrived for the appointment about five minutes early and checked in with the receptionist. Rhea, who I had the appointment with was within an earshot as her chair is only a few feet away. Rhea said she didn't have any appointments and I must have been mistaken. The receptionist checked the book and confirmed that I had an appointment. Rhea was in the middle of coloring/dying a hairpiece on a mannequin head, very sloppily from what I could see. She said she would be with me when she was done, so I sat down and waited and waited. While she was doing the coloring, lunch arrived for her. She told me she would eat her lunch and she would with me shortly. I expressed that we were already 15 minutes into my time and now she was going to eat?! So she agrees and has me sit in her chair while she eats. The extension area if the salon on the other side is super busy. Rhea starts off by asking me why I'm there. If you could see my hair, you would know while I was there. It is very thin at the top and this is a wig/extension/hair loss salon. I had come in for a consultation and I wanted advice. I thought I had come to a place that was professional. She said I should consider a topper not a wig. I didn't know what a topper was and ask to see one. She didn't have anything that was near to my color so she put a blonde streaked topper on my auburn brown hair. It looked ridiculous as the color was so off and the density of the hair was so thick compared to my crown. Another customer comes in with a hairpiece she needs styled or colored. Rhea stops my appointment to attend to her while I wait again. Rhea showed me a product that was a powder filler you put in your hair to fill in thinning spots. It was a good match for my color so I said I would buy it. The sample she used was the only one she had left, and she sold it to me as a full sized product even though it had been open and used. I was charged $30 for an opened sample. I later found this elsewhere for $25. I wasn't very satisfied with a sample hairpiece she showed me as it didn't match either in color or in its density. I left feeling very frustrated by the attitude and unprofessionalism of this salon owner, regarding the appointment time, delayed start due to he engagement when I arrived, eating during service, and taking another customer in the middle of my consultation. This was quite a while ago, yet the experience was so bad that I haven't forgotten it. I saw an ad in Diablo magazine which prompted me to finally write a review. Responding to owner's response: Glad to hear you no longer do consultations leaving that to your staff. My consultation with you was on 10/22/21 at 1:30pm. As I said in my review, it was quite a while ago but not forgotten as it was so memorable. Losing hair is traumatic no matter the cause and being treated without respect or compassion by a hair salon geared towards wigs, extensions, toppers, etc is inexcusable. I told my regular stylist at Salon 9 this story and she was angry about my experience at Celebration. I would not subject myself to a return visit. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would!! After losing my hair from chemo, I had ordered a wig online that ended up being way too big. I was so lost and upset not knowing how to manage or wear a wig. Rhea really worked with us to figure out the best solution for my daughter, which in my daughter's case was a wig that she could sleep and bathe in. I lost all of my hair due to chemo a year ago. I have been wearing wigs since and have not felt like myself at all. We are so incredibly grateful to have crossed paths with Rhea, owner of Celebration Salon, a beautiful soul who is genuinely kind hearted and passionate about helping people who suffer from hair loss to find appropriate hair solutions and feel good about themselves. I was in search of a solution for my 19 year-old daughter who has had permanent severe hair loss after going through aggressive chemo and radiation treatment as a young child for brain cancer. Her treatment was effective in killing the cancer cells but also permanently eliminated a large majority of her hair cells in addition to severe hearing loss. It has been over 10 years that she has been in remission and off treatment but her hair has never fully grown back. It broke my heart every time she would ask me when her hair was going to grow back. She was left with sparse strands and large bald spots. The eventual realization that her hair would never come back was a devastating blow to my daughter's self esteem as she struggled to navigate through her middle and high school years. I had overheard her refer to herself on as "ugly" and "not very attractive" and often avoided social gatherings and shied away from interactions with peers throughout high school. An ad on Instagram caught my eye and I decided to reach out. I was directed to Celebration Salon. After talking with Rhea, she assured us there were many options available and she'd surely help her find something that would fit her needs. This was so exciting because I knew this would be life changing for Mikyla. It turned out the most ideal option, a highly customized hair resotration "CNS" system was definitely out of our price range, however, after meeting with us, Rhea was determined to make something still amazingly beautiful work out for her within our budget. Rhea worked her magic behind the scenes and was able to get her a gorgeous high quality 100% human hair wig (she referred to it as "The Bentley of wigs, the best of the best") that will last her years to come. It arrived quickly and within a week Mikyla was back in the salon being fitted with a beautiful new head of hair. I was quite impressed with how stunningly soft the hair was that that it seemed to just naturally fall into place. Plus, unlike other wigs, it looked incredibly natural!! Rhea cut and styled it for her. She even generously gifted Mikyla a fun purple wig that she had spotted in the salon to wear for fun! My biggest concern was that Mikyla be able to easily put it on herself everyday which she hadn't been able to do in the past with other lower quality wigs as they were uncomfortable and itchy, didn't stay on well and looked bulky and unnatural, therefore she had given up on them. I was shocked to see her slip the gripper wig right on like a hat and how well it fit, not to mention I was pleasantly surprised to learn how low maintenance it was to care for, along with the ability to cut and and color it as desired. Mikyla left the salon with a giant smile and a sprig in her step. She probably took over a hundred selfies in the car. She proudly wore her new locks the next day to sow off in her Orangetheory class. I can definitely say there is a new gleam in her eyes that just wasn't there before. She was so excited to finally have her very own messy bun and can't wait to experiment with different hairstyles. Being a teen these days is brutal and can be utterly soul crushing in the best of circumstances. I truly believe that this will give her the confidence boost she has needed to go out and take on the world! Thank you Rhea for your kindness and compassion. I have always had thin & frizzy hair that doesn't grow past my shoulder. I was referred by a very close friends Anthony & Rachel to go to Celebration Salon and meet his cousin Rhea. Rhea is amazing she really knows hair & most important she cares for people. She wants to make sure you feel beautiful when you leave. She used shampoo called Kevin Murphy I loved it that I bought my own to take home. Her workers Vanessa and the other hairstylist Lauren are so friendly. My 1st time I got extensions called hand tied Weft and 2nd time Fusion extensions both are good, I'm very happy. Real hair she makes sure you got the BEST! My favorite part is sitting in the chair watching Rhea care for others. A woman over 90 years old came in and wanted to get a wig. Rhea consulted her and picked the perfect wig for this lady she couldn't stop smiling and looking in the mirror, it was so cute. Another young lady came in and had brain surgery, Rhea had prepared a top extension for her wedding day it was absolutely beautiful! You will not be disappointed if you choose this salon for a wig or extensions. I cannot even begin to truly express how grateful I am to have found Rhea and her salon. I had reached a breaking point in my life where I was over using the fibers and coloring sprays everyday. Dealing with that took such a toll on my mental and emotional health. I was tired of dealing with worrying over things just because of how my hair looked. I was tired of the never ending anxiety from worrying if the fibers in my hair looked too obvious when it was windy or if I would have streaks of black all over my face if it rained particularly more. I actually think it was Rhea who came to me right when I needed her the most and I knew I had to take initiative. I actually came across her TikTok one day while I was scrolling, I didn't even know she was local and thought "Wow how nice it would be to have a salon that specializes in hairloss near me" For some reason I actually went to Google Celebration Salon and saw it was located in Alamo (at first I thought oh Alamo as in Texas lol) but after really looking I discovered she wasn't too far from San Ramon/Danville! I just knew right then and there I HAD to make an appointment for a consultation. Rhea was incredibly thorough during my consultation, as well as so considerate. She went over all of my options and I ended up moving forward with a bonded topper (though I hope to do CNC in the future!). I kid you not - I seriously feel like I was living life for the first time after having the topper installed. It was kind of jarring seeing myself in the mirror, I just wasn't used to the full head of hair I now had again. Rhea has also been such a huge motivator to me and her skills make me feel so much more empowered and beautiful. You can seriously tell that Rhea is incredibly passionate about what she does. She puts so much heart and care into her craft, which translates into the empowerment and beauty her clients are able to feel. I truly feel so cared for and heard by Rhea and her team. Her salon really is a safe space for those dealing with hairloss. She is so respectful of all of her clients and their needs and so accommodating as well. I had an error on my end with my calendar for one of my reinstallation appointments (I had put it in incorrectly) but Rhea still squeezed me in for my appointment despite having a booked schedule. She said that there was no way she was going to let me go without being taken care of. That in itself just showed me how much she values her clients and always wants to make sure we are happy.
