My husband & I got to sit with her & her mother at dinner (who occasionally assists with the photography), and we enjoyed learning about her business. When we were sitting together, we got to chatting. I ended up explaining that my husband & I hadn't had a first dance because we chose to have a dinner instead of reception. I asked her if she wouldn't mind taking some photos of us when there was a slow song, and she was more than happy to. The great thing about Mandie was that she stayed just a bit longer to make sure she got some photos of us (and some other extras) because the band took a while before playing a slow song. Our friends who got married gifted us with a framed version of our favorite photo for Christmas, and brought along all the photos that Mandie took. I was really impressed.
