He was very responsive when listening to what we were hoping to achieve and found an option that fit our budget. We had a few travel and medical schedules that caused a reschedule, but he was very considerate and understanding when we spoke a few weeks ahead of time. He wore a mask for our session and appropriately socially distanced (much appreciated during COVID times with family members of all ages). He travels light, which really speaks to his ability and talent to get incredible shots, both formal and candid. Will heartily and happily recommend him to friends and family.

Any photographer can take beautiful staged photos, but it takes a true photographer to capture her subjects' raw emotions on film, and Jen does just that! I live in Chicago, but wanted our photos done in Madison. Strictly communicating by email we were able to set up a photo shoot that very week. I thought there was no way we would get a great picture, we have three small children (and a dog!) that are not the easiest to photograph, but she managed to get them in these amazing shots, capturing everyones personalities. She was patient and calm, Jen made it all look and feel so easy. I would highly recommend Jen to anyone.  She is truly a gifted photographer, especially with children. We were overwhelmed by how many amazing photos we got, and friends and family can't stop commenting about how great the photography was. The portraits and detail shots were amazing, but the candid shots were our favorites. I think that's the most important--anyone with some basic skill can get the portraits, but it's really special to have a photographer who was able to get all those special non-posed moments (not just of us, but of our guests).
