I have had my hair cut and colored by her and am now taking my daughter to her. Jessica cuts hair with such precision. I've had so many compliments. I decided to come here after looking for a salon that had a reputation for being contemporary, a little out of the box with their creativity, attention to detail and was attracted by the pride she took in her art and craft. Nicole loves what she does and it shows. Nicole is the very first stylist I have ever had a successful cut and style that I actually love * love * love! Great hair is possible and when you find it you know you have something special. I have used Square One, Studio Blue and like goldilocks found one just right when I arrived at Nicole's chair looking for that "just right experience." While the other salons I went to are all very good my search brought me to what I now think is my forever hair home. The entire experience was one of them carefully listening to my needs. But the main event of course is about the hair. Nicole cut my hair and she just made it wonderful. Nicole is wonderful. A true artist. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The facilities were clean, simple and very calming. This was not a 5 star experience. It was a solid 10 stars and then some. I am so grateful for her.

Great Clips I just…read morehad the worst experience at a Great Clips in Kettering, OH. I'm a long-time customer, over 15yrs and I am a senior citizen. I have done business with plenty of business in my life. But this one was bad. It started out with the stylist asking if it's a 2 - 3 - 4? I'm confused. I asked her to explain. It took her repeating herself 5-6 times before she offered more than just 2 - 3 - 4. She used her fingers to show lengths. I said no, don't buzz my sides. I used fingers to demonstrate the lengths I was looking for. She says what numbers are those. I said, don't you know? This went on for a good five minutes as she kept telling me with, you are a grown ass man, you should know what you like! I've never been grilled like this from any stylist all through the years. I thought we had an understanding. She buzzed my sides. I lost it and yelled at her and got up to leave. I had been insulted and disrespected and I was leaving. This girl could not understand. She had no problem blaming me. I asked for her name and tried to look up a corporate contact to call right there. There were none. I asked her for contact with her manager. "She on vacation and will be gone for two weeks." She refused to give the name or contact information. I went to the other stylist and asked if she would be willing to supply me with this information. Yes, she would be happy to, and she wanted to fix my hair! And I agreed. Here it was all getting resolved by kindness of the 2nd stylist. Then I hear - the 1st stylist on her phone, I am afraid, I am afraid, I fear I'm going to get attacked! My customers are in danger!! She is talking to the manager who wasn't available. I was ordered off the premises by the lie of the first stylist. I have a really screwed up haircut and this lie, "she was in danger", "her customers were in danger", is a completely hateful reaction to me and the other stylist. Who, with kindness and respect, tried and wanted to clear all this up. That's good customer service. Just because the 1st stylist couldn't get her way, she lays false incriminating charges at her customer. And it's backed up by her manager who thinks I'm a violent person. I hope the right eyes will see this. I will not use Great Clips again... The ability to mistreat customers so openly and freely while its backed by the boss, doesn't need my business. I glad you do not mind losing my business. After all, I'm just an old senior citizen, what is that to your business. I am also filing with BB.

A sign in the window referred me to here. Their website says it's across the street from Kroger's but this is a little confusing. Technically it is, but it's not really a street. They call the strip mall Kettering Town Center. It's adjacent to the T-Mobile center there. I like it because you can schedule your appointments online and they are open on the weekends. Haircuts will run you a little under $20 for a standard scissor cut. Hair stylists seem friendly and parking is ample. I would recommend.

On the actual performance side of things, I recently went to get a black and blue ombré. While keeping in mind that i do have naturally dark hair and I was a walk-in; Candice took 4 1/2 hours to do the whole process! That wouldn't have been so bad if it would've turned out right but, she bleached my hair TWICE, gave me a conditioner treatment and then dyed my hair. Never the less, my hair turned out green. She also dyed my forehead, ears and neck and did not take most of it off. To top it off it was $145 not including tip!!! She did offer to fix it the next morning but I'm still appalled that she bleached my hair twice and dyed it in one day. I feel like that should've been split into a months time span. I will more than likely not go back here, at least, not for a dyed job. Cleanliness: 5/5 Staff: 3/5 Parking 2/5 Price 2/5
