I am so glad I chose to do my maternity photos with Sarah! She has beautiful gowns available for you, which was really nice, because with all the stress and spending that is involved in having a baby, who wants to pay for a nice maternity dress for you to wear just once! Sarah was our photographer for my maternity photos and Christmas photos. For the maternity photo shoot, we did a consultation before the session, so I can pick out some of her gorgeous dress to wear at the session. I was happy to find a photographer that provided wardrobe, so I wouldn't have to spend money on a fancy dress that I would probably never wear again. She made my husband and me feel very comfortable at the session, and the photos were amazing. She just took our Christmas photos at the tree farm, and I love how our family photos turn out! She gave us a dressing guide before the session which helped us with color schemes. She also returned the edited photos in a few days, allowing us plenty of times to order Christmas cards! Sarah became a part of our family during our labor process!!!! She was an integral part of our story and we were so thankful to have her by our sides for our long labor birth story. Not only did she capture the intense, genuine, and emotional moments of our labor, she was a wealth of information of support and knowledge when we had to make tough decisions. Sarah was our photographer for a family photo shoot just in time for holiday cards. She was incredibly accommodating and understanding as it was originally supposed to be a newborn shoot, but because my baby was delivered in the middle of a Covid surge, we had to postpone it almost a year! Sarah created a wonderful environment for our baby and captured the sweetest photos. We did a newborn shoot with Sarah from Embrace Birth Photography in the studio. Sarah was very responsive in setting up our photo shoot and responded quickly to all of my inquiries to prepare for the photos. We arrived at the studio with a very alert baby and Sarah was amazing at calming him and getting him to sleep deeply and she was so patient (she's quite the baby whisperer). Sarah created a very comfortable environment for our son and he was very relaxed through the whole session, even when he was wide awake. Once our son was asleep, she worked very quickly to get such darling shots which we will treasure forever. The one thing my husband and I were not prepared for was the temperature in the studio. In order to create the perfect environment for the baby and to make our son comfortable and relaxed it was quite warm; but it was a bit too warm for us with how we were dressed, so dress accordingly. read more

Hiring Sarah for all of these services was the single best decision we made in connection with having our first baby. In all honesty, we are frugal and were skeptical about paying for any of these services. We didn't know how important they would be to us in the end.
