I cannot even begin to tell you the amount of compliments I received on my wedding dress and I felt absolutely beautiful in it the whole day. When I first contacted The Sewing Shop, I had already been in contact with several other shops that were too busy to take on my requested services. My phone call was excellent with such friendly demeanor, and all three of my visits were fun and enjoyable. I had no idea my dress needed as much work as it did and they still took on the project even after I misled them saying I only needed a slight alteration. The cost of the alterations were a bit too expensive but you are paying for the quality of work and years worth of experience from this husband and wife couple! The only thing that happened with my dress was that the bustle kept breaking buttons off the back of my dress but I believe this was entirely tied to how heavy my train was and how much jumping around dancing I was doing. The bustle before some buttons snapped was perfectly placed and the perfect length for me to walk around comfortably!

I asked if the pants could be repressed same day and was told they could do it but there likely would still be a crease in the pants. I wasn't offered a credit- I paid full price for two pants that I needed to press myself and for a shirt that looked like this. I contacted them by email and yep- no one had the courtesy to respond.
