Very disappointed today, and I just ordered through DoorDash a few days ago since I like their BBQ pork on the stick. Anyways, I decided to order a whole order for BBQ on the sticks today and only received one BBQ for $16.00. And my Pompano fish was replaced for Tilapia since they were out of stock. But what I received was milkfish. And it was so dry and when I picked it up it was little tiny pieces. It was like a reheated fish on the skillet and burnt into pieces. The pancit was ok. The was very hungry but lost my appetite after receiving my order. My receipt wasn't even taped on my order. I really don't like giving bad reviews, but in some cases you have too. I called the business and a gentleman answered the phone and he stated he wasn't at the restaurant. He sounded kind and suggested I ask refund from DoorDash, and I told him it's ok since I did received some food. But not the amount I paid for. I told him to tell Sarah she owes me some BBQ. I told him that I plan on visiting their restaurant. Anyways, they also relocated on Ft Hood St. I noticed their old location is now occupied by Strike out wings. I really do love Sarah's BBQ and they are kind. I just hope that they do a better service for deliveries and double check the order before DoorDash pick up. read more

Been here 2 times now. For starts place looks old but inside it is ok. Sometimes tables are not cleaned but they are short on staff. As for the staff they are great. Friendly and helpful. We had a party there some of the foos was missing on the pre pared sets but they worked quickly to fix it. No for the food taste is good. Food is fresh and cooked well. I had the kara kara and it was good. Cucumber salad was good also. Just a note if you at in cash bring the right change not always able to give you change back . Took a star off for that . read more

Amazing customer service, the hostess had no problem recommending items. Food came out fast and was freshly made. The restaurant had an old school vibe but was still nice. 3 Stars for cooked to order food rather than precooked Filipino Food in Killeen. My Filipino family members served to enjoy the meal. My teenage young men needed more rice than came with the meal. As a Texan, the food was so so, nothing special or very tasty. My Filipina's Halo Halo was large but needed some improvement. The inside of Sarah's Kitchen is not ready for prime time. It seemed like it is being renovated to some extent. Go there soon if you are curious. Otherwise, like other Filipino eateries on Rancier in Killeen, it may not be around long. I haven't eaten at a filipino restaurant in a long time, and I am so glad I came here! This little gem has so many options, and you can tell they put a lot of heart in their food. We ordered our food to dine in, and it was fun because the TV was showing a bunch of live music by filipino artists. We ordered the palabok, pancit, chicken adobo, dinuguan, turkey lumpia, and buko pandan. My favorite was the turkey lumpia because I was pleasantly surprised that it was just as tasty as pork lumpia. I also loved their chicken adobo. All of the dishes were very good, and I would love to come back to try their chicken bbq because it was sold out when we visited. I normally love Sarah's Kitchen. But yesterday was quite the disappointment. I had my boyfriend pick up a combo plate for me. My normal experience with them was getting an excellent portion of everything. Rice was good, pancit was great, lumpia was amazing as usual, but I was more looking forward to the chicken adobo. I will be reviewing their Special Halo-Halo. We were in the area attending the Central Texas Asian Pacific Festival. On the strip we were surprise to see this Filipino Restaurant. We definitely need to try. We only ordered their special Halo Halo.I have never had halo halo this humongous before. It had shaved ice, Ube ice cream, Leche flan, pop rice and the typical gel fruit. I literally don't know how to identify the gel fruit but it's delicious. We definitely enjoyed our Halo-halo. It was the perfect time to eat it because it was pretty hot outside. It was a real treat. When we first walked in, there were only maybe two other tables taken and within 5 minutes, the entire restaurant was packed. OMG, yum! I was looking for a different restaurant and, as I was walking by looking confused, a gentleman from this restaurant came outside and greeted me. They didn't have a sign or menu outside so I asked if they were the place I was looking for. He said no and that he didn't recognize the name of the other place. He said they served Filipino food. I realized that the restaurant I was looking for was closed, so I called my husband back and told him it was time he tried lumpia. He was game. The service was great, the place was clean, and the food fantastic. The portions are VERY generous. Everyone was masked up and they served us on disposable containers. Very clean and friendly. Don't get me wrong the food is the only thing that makes me want to come back. We ordered the lumpia, lenchon kewali and 2 barbecue kebabs. The food is made when you order, not warmed up. I guess the prices changed since the last time we were there and have increased so unreasonably. The prices on their menu don't reflect to their new ones. It was $45 for everything we ordered. It was the first time I dined and ate here. The customer service was very friendly. I believe I had ordered the number 4 which was spaghetti, rice and lumpia. I also ordereda bbq pork skewer and a desert drink. I wasn't a fan of the desert drink because it had some odd gummies inside of it. It was bad, but it just wasn't my thing. But my actually food order was made fresh and quit appetizing! It really hit the spot. If you love Filipino food and enjoy lumpia and BBQ skewers, this is definitely the place! Disappointed, I got in my car and drove away when I noticed the great smell coming from this place. This is a Filipino restaurant. I didn't see any ratings on Yelp but I saw Filipinos walking in, which seemed like a good sign. I ordered some lumpia and a combo that came with rice, pancit, bbq pork on a stick. I also got a cassava cake when I noticed that they only had one slice left. The order of lumpia came with about a dozen and a half delicious extra crunchy spring rolls with meat and veggies. The pancit, is like a stir fry with veggies and chicken. It was also delicious. The bbq pork on a stick was soooo good. Everything was hot and fresh. I can't say enough good things about the meal. Horrible service, especially if you're not filipino. I ordered and paid for my food online. When I got there, the cashier was helping an older lady who couldn't make up her mind what she wanted. She ended up talking to the cashier and looking at a menu then ordering some stuff then deciding that wasn't enough, so she ordered and paid a second time. Then finally after more than ten minutes of me waiting there patiently, the lady sat down and the cashier went to the back. She didn't say anything or even acknowledge that I was even standing there. She stayed back there and was talking and laughing for another 10 minutes. It wasn't until some other people came in and the little bell on the door rang that she came back up front. However, she still just ignored me and started talking to the people that had just came in and was about to seat them when I had to interrupt them and say that I was here to pick up some food.
