I randomly saw their store, while walking. When I saw what sizes they specialized in, I knew I had to come in. This is a female owned family business. They have been around for 40 years. They know what they were doing. They are quick and efficient, if you know what you are looking for. They have so many good high quality items. Worst Customer Service Ever! I've been a customer of Sara's Lingerie for 4 years, her bras don't come cheap by looking at my photo receipt attached. I came in store in August on a very warm day and Sara sold me a bra and had to come back with my credit that I accidentally left at home. I return and purchased the bra on dated (cash receipt) I finally wore it 4 days after the bra was swimming on me, I immediately called store and spoke to her daughter Rebecca and another employee and both said she's not in, but would call me anyway later in the day. Three days later still no phone call and dropped by store and spoke to daughter informing her on the 1st hook it was swimming on me, so I'd be getting no use with a very loose bra only on 1st hook. When she initially measured me I poring sweat due to her A/C was barely on and it was over 100 that day. Within 7 days I returned for a refund due to receipt states (within 14 days), Rebecca refused refund and Sara was too busy to assist me in a dressing room. I left and told daughter to inform Sara I want a full refund and to call me ASAP. Well Sara waits to call me several days later and informs no refund, I stated your policy states within14 days and (does not mention CASH PAYING CUSTOMERS). She went insane very rude and abrasive, literally screaming over the phone as if I was a child. I was quiet and stated when can get my FULL CASH RETURN? Sara stated she needed to be present at store, which didn't make sense, anyone should've been able to give my refund. Sara had me come a day later and had the (audacity) to make me wait until she in the back and gave me a business check over $200.00. I mentioned a Customer Normally Is Refunded The Method They Paid. I normally spend over $400 during one visit and this is the customer service I receive. I honestly think she may be dealing with Dementia, she was very abrasive and rude during my last fitting! I observed when people come in off the street her Sales Women stare you down and follow you as if their some Secret Service, I heard her daughter ask a customer several times "Is it something your looking for?", several customers said "No, I'm just looking ". I witnessed once she gets you in dressing room her Secret Service Salesperson's flood dressing room with 100 items pressing people to buy! She even has a Metal Detector in store. Initially she was very sweet and helpful, but she's turned to a rude, pompous and aggressive lingerie owner!! I will never shop there again. The lingerie is gorgeous but you must know the prices are from $400-$800. The teights are $24. They buzz you in, the door isn't just open and they have to let you out as well. It's overpriced and has this super unwelcoming vibe. The people who work there hover over you and try to tell you what lingerie to pick and it's too much/annoying. I meant to review this place a long time ago. This situation happened over a year ago but I still remember it. The lingrie is beautiful but the attitude of the staff is terrible. Before I was leaving the manager seemingly turned to an employee and in Russian said go in the fitting room and see if all the items are still there. I ended up needing to return the bra since it didn't work well for me with my wedding dress and came to return it. They are VERY unprofessional and rude. They informed that I was in their system when I never was and tried to blame me for it when they are just very unorganized. Came in to shop with a friend for wedding lingerie and left feeling unwelcome and enraged. We had been in the shop for about 15 min looking through the merchandise and one of the sales women abruptly begins to yell at us for touching too much of the merchandise with our "oily fingers." She continues to tell us that everything in the store is at least $600 and repeatedly says we've been touching too much. At no point upon entering had they asked us to refrain from touching anything. We had a woman following us from the start who never mentioned an issue. After telling her that we understood she continued to berate us, so we left. I came in for a fitting while on vacation in LA after the place was recommended by my local friends, and had an amazing experience. Sarah helped me get my real size (apparently my size was WAY OFF, even though I was measured at Nordstrom before. She helped me undestand which types of bras work best for my body type, brought dozens of bras to try on. Sarah was direct, and knowledgeable, she was all business, stuffing me into a bra after bra with Eastern European determination and straight-forwardness. She probably spent close to two hours with me - didn't push any merchandise, didn't give empty compliments as a way of selling. As a matter of fact, some bras she just told me to take off as she didn't like the fit. In the end I left with: - a strapless bra that *STAYS ON!!* by Empreinte - Amazingly comfortable and flattering beige and black bras for every day also by Empreinte - The most amazing sky blue satin bra and panties I have ever seen in my entire life by Andres Sarda. In retrospect, I should have purchased another Andres Sarda bra and another strapless, as it is unlikely I will find such lever of service and selection back in Minneapolis. But back then, I was absolutely exhausted after my bra fitting "seminar", and didn't think I'd regret it after. So take my word for it- if you love it, get it! If you are used to shoping at department stores and American lingerie chains, this store will seem pricy, but with a much better service, price and selection than La Perla and Agent Provocateur - it is absolutely worth it! read more

I went to Sara's today for a measurement. I've always been nervous to know my true size (which is quite large) but Sara made me feel very comfortable. She spent over an hour with me and I learned so much. It was like my own private lesson on bras and boobs. I've clearly been wearing the wrong size for my whole adulthood and with the right fit, I looked like I had a breast reduction. I love Sara's Lingerie! I had never been professionally fitted for a bra before...just by sales associates at Victoria's Secret and Nordstrom. I'd lost a good bit of weight and could shove a whole hand in my bra from Nordstrom so I thought it was time to go in and take the plunge. I was NOT prepared for how they fit you - topless! I was caught a little off guard by that, so if you aren't already aware - it's topless! And THEY put the bras on FOR you. I was brought some BEAUTIFUL bras and ended up purchasing two...be prepared to spend a pretty penny there ladies, but they will tailor the bras for you for free for a year and then for $8 after that. At least I think it's $8! I wear these two bras ALL the time. My breasts looked huge in my Nordstrom bras and they look amazing in the ones I got from Sara's! If you are looking for quality, well fitting bras, but aren't on a budget - come here! But ladies, don't your girls deserve to be sitting well on your chest? This place carries really beautiful European designer braziers in full size cups. Unfortunately the woman "fitting" me insisted that I was 2 band sizes larger than I am and that they'd alter for me (wtf?). I called in advance to make sure they had what I was looking for and upon arrival discovered that they did not - there was a serious language barrier with the woman helping me. Also they really lacked in a selection of my hard to find size which is a little disappointing for their claims and prices. Bottom line is that if I want a European $150+ bra I will go to Jeanette's. If I want a better selection of sports bras and less expensive lacy lingerie I'll go to Nordstroms or Wizard of Bras. Being naturally large breasted yet small framed woman I can honestly say coming to Sarah's was hands down the best bra fitting experience I have ever had! Not only do they have odd sizes, but the personalized one on one service ( including the detailed education and measurements) was unsurpassed! . I have to be honest, there was some sticker shock, but they offer free alterations for up to one year after purchase! !! (Heavy boobs = lots of stretching! ). And because they put you in their system, no need to worry about if you lose the receipt as they keep details about you and your purchase (no spamming afterwards so do be wary about sharing your info). And unlike other boutiques, the lady list tend to my needs, provided personalized education, and didn't try to sell me products I didn't need or ask for. Best fitting bra I have had in my entire life and I wore it out of the store. Top Line Quality and Service At 52, I had not had a proper bra fitting since I was in my early twenties. Also, being large busted, I have not had a truly well-made and well-fitted bra in years. About a month ago, I finally decided to take the time and go for a fitting and the purchase of a proper bra. The place was wonderful. This type of service can no longer be found in department stores. Lamara spent time with me and helped me try on nearly two dozen bras. I stayed in the dressing room and she did the running. Also, the selection of high quality and attractive bras was huge. I can not recommend this place enough, especially for women who are larger than the standard off-the-rack cup size. I came in for a bra fitting last weekend and hated this place. She was asking me questions that made no sense and rushing through all the measurements against my torso, which, is my hardest part. 'When you normally do, do you wear where it has arch in the frontward or more you notice it on your front chest?' I look at her and go, 'What?' That was when she was done, she rang the bell. She gave this sour look on her face all of a sudden and wouldn't look at me anymore. Like, can you as a saleswoman not control those kinds of faces when you feel them coming out your eyeballs? Not with these ladies, and not anytime soon. She fit me and slapped me into 3 of the most expensive bras they had in there I know, and all three were tight underneath my chest! She gave me a different size in a big hurry like she didn't even look and this woman insisted this was the best size for me. She rushed me along and tried to whisper to one of the other girls in her language about me, so I bought the ugly piece of trash just to shut her up and get away from her. It did. not. fit. I figure I bring it back the next day (oh wait, they don't take returns I find out, IDGAF keep my change, peasant) I get it, a woman does not need a dollar if she does not need a dollar, and these womens is getting money from somewhere else enough to pay the rent without my loose chest, so. they. say. All the people that work at Sara's Lingerie provided me with the gift of exceptional and healing care.
