Martins is low low low compared to the other stores. If you have never been to a Martins , give it a try. The cost of their doughnuts is odd. Nobody charges $1.29 a doughnut at grocery stores, not even in Scottsdale, AZ. I will buy 1 or 2 doughnuts. Never would buy a dozen. That's $15.50 for a dozen doughnuts. Maybe they give a 50 cent discount for a dozen. An example of their pricing. $4 for 4 ozs of alfalfa sprouts. That's $16 a pound for a veggie. Their smoked whitefish is $19 a pound. (I buy it on clearance.) There is a meat market where it is $10. I keep coming back for the sale prices. Their cashiers are good. Fast and generally friendly.
