So, based on the other Yelp reviews, I trekked up to Edge Motorsport in Sloatsburg to get the inspection sticker on my new ride. Their shop is great with a lot of cool cars in the lot and in for things. There was a fabulous ABT modified Audi, a Murcielago in for what looked like a major, and a few other fine German, English, and Italian marques. The people here are great, too. He brought a little drill to get the lug nuts off and don't realize that there were caps on the lug nuts. Although I think we still may have been in the predicament we were in cuz some of the lug nuts were seized they may have had an easier time with the proper equipment. I had a medical EMERGENCY, it was so bad i had to pull the car over and call an ambulance. Anyway, got charged 270 bucks for them to either drive my car or tow it so close to their lot. Yeah we all do, i worked 8 hours to make that amount of money, not 8 minutes to take advantage of someone who was sick and had to be taken to the hospital with no choice in the matter of whom was towing my car. State troopers called them i guess because they are a state authorized biz, they were there as i got in the ambulance. I made sure to call the troopers to get a report and to let them know what happened and they were sympathetic. They (Jan's) had a total attitude when i asked why so much and asked if they could work with me, and also hung up on me when i tried to call and dispute...now that i read all the reviews i totally get it!!!! One or two 1 star reviews can happen to anyone, but not this many...I hope people read the reviews if they're even going to consider hiring people who do business like this, but i'm sure not enough people do because it's usually some sort of emergency, so they're used to taking advantage of people. Oh course people have to make money and of course i was upset for the overcharging, but to me this is just ethically wrong.
