How much does a smog check cost?

Inspection cost 50$ and it’s good for two years from the expiration date

Refuse to explain anything price is the price. Even oil change is more expensive than dealers now. They charged me $200+ for my AC repair and it stopped working in three months blowing hot air A waste of money Taking my business elsewhere and had enough if these disrespect condescending guys

This place was recommended to me by a body shop owner who also owns a BMW. I can tell you that the labor rate at dealerships is high and they usually take a long time to look at your car as well as replacing all related components to make sure the issues are addressed. You're dealership may also recommend services that aren't needed. Steve explained that rather than spending the time disassembling and diagnosing the problem, it's better to replace the ignition switch for less than 300$. I agreed. Steve said that if this doesn't work that the control module for the ignition may be the problem. I was interested in getting a spare key as well. Steve recommended waiting to make sure the issue was addressed before duplicating the key and possibly creating another issue. I agreed. The issue with the starter persisted so I brought the car back to replace the control module and duplicate the key. The new key and starter are now working perfectly. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they didn't recommend any unnecessary services or escalate my bill with unnecessary labor. My used Z4 may have been a bad decision, but bringing it to Motor Works West for repairs was the right choice. Unfortunately I will have to go back to get my convertible top replaced and I recommend you bring your BMW to them as well.

They reset the computers on their used cars so that none of the sensor lights come on right away, hiding the NUMEROUS defects their cars have. Then, when you buy the car and it lights up like a Christmas tree two days later, they offer to fix the damage at exorbitant prices. They also pretend that they are selling cars for "customers" so that they can avoid taking accountability when you find out you bought a lemon. They have been doing this day in and day out for YEARS. Also, they CREATE oil leaks and other problems on routine inspections and service, then upcharge the customer to fix the problem they themselves created. JOHN and SAMI sold me a lemon pretending it was a customer's car. I was able to georoute and geotrack the accounts of the "seller" and they are ALL linked to the shop or John and Sami personally. Between that and tower triangulation, I was able to prove that John and Sami were the sellers the whole time, trying to avoid selling under a dealer license. They have been reported to the authorities with substantial evidence turned over against them. A Federal investigation is underway. I do not expect this place to be open much longer. Imprisonment seems justified.
