This is a good alternative to Subway, which does not use a grill. I've been to the Burlington, MA location (near my home) several times and found their subs to be quite good for food court standards, IMO. The Chicken Philly tasted pretty darn good, which was grilled hot to order with very thin white meat chicken, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and melted cheese on a soft white sub roll with mayo. The gourmet fries with skins were hot and crispy and not salted (thanks!). Also, I got triple punches on my frequent sub card since it was Thursday.

There are tons of food options including pizza, pasta, poutine, sandwiches, salads, and a huge variety of desserts. It's definitely one of those places where everyone can find something they like which makes it great for groups. I decided to try the chicken shawarma poutine, and even though it sounded a little different at first, it ended up being absolutely delicious. The fries were crispy, the chicken was flavorful, and the toppings all came together perfectly. I noticed a lot of other unique dishes at different stalls too which makes me want to go back and try more. The prices were very reasonable as well especially for the quality and portion sizes. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere. There was live music playing, which gave the whole place such a lively and fun vibe. You can even order a beer and just walk around or head outside to enjoy it in the fresh air. Between the food variety, affordable prices, and the relaxed but energetic setting, I think this spot is perfect for a casual meal or even a night out with friends. I'll definitely be going back!

When you first pull in, you're greeted by the huge marketplace sign, and right on the corner is the garden center--complete with the famous Bigfoot that everyone seems to stop and pose with. I was surprised to learn that vendors can rent a 10x10 outdoor space for just $22 a day. The catch is you reserve the same day each week for four weeks in advance, since the flea market is only open four days a week. $27.00 under the pavilion but there's a waiting list. Before we started shopping, we stopped at Sarah's Grill for lunch. Their burgers were delicious--fresh tomato, crisp lettuce, sweet onion... definitely worth the stop! Then came my favorite find of the day... strawberries! They were advertised at $5 a flat. When I picked one up, I noticed a few moldy berries underneath. The vendor immediately smiled and offered them to me for $4 a flat instead. Sold! I brought home two flats, which worked out to about 16 quarts of strawberries. Of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing a bag of fresh kettle corn--that's become one of my favorite flea market traditions! Like any flea market, there was a little bit of everything--the good, the bad, and the ugly. Some booths looked freshly stocked, while others looked like they hadn't changed in weeks. But that's part of the adventure. You never know what treasure you'll stumble across. When we got home, I immediately flash-froze most of the strawberries, and the rest became homemade freezer jam. All in all, it was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning--good food, great bargains, and a freezer full of summer to enjoy later. Have you ever been to the Hartville Marketplace? What's your favorite thing to hunt for there?

This indoor mall has two floors and over 150 stores. The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Luxury/designer stores include Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Unlike many other indoor malls, Ross Park Mall is not dead. Most store fronts are occupied, and only a few store fronts are empty and awaiting future retailers.

My husband and I were here most recently on Black Friday 2025, and although the mall had mostly vacant storefronts, many people were walking around. The mall was clean and maintained, and a Christmas train was set up for children. My husband made an analogy and said that the mall reminded him of an old person who was dying but was in a nursing home that took great care of them (!). I needed to use the women's restroom, and an employee kindly told me its location. The restroom was located past the food court, which contained only some restaurants. The restroom looked old but was fairly clean and worked. During this shopping trip, I shopped in the Boscov's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Shoe Dept. Encore. I most liked the Boscov's.

The interior is very pretty for a mall, and there are cute gathering areas in front of two anchor stores. Many storefronts in the interior of the mall are vacant, and finding a reason to come shop is difficult. The mall is owned by Namdar Realty Group, a known slum lord. Unfortunately, the anchors contribute to the issues. The former Macy's is used by U-Haul for self-storage with part being offered for redevelopment. Rural King does not open into the mall. JCPenney is in the process of closing, which is sad as it's a nicer store for this chain. Boscov's will be the only anchor with access from in the mall once JCPenney's closes. Dick's remains as a junior anchor. The food court is still decent and includes Chick-Fil-A and China Max, along with others. It's a shame a mall this nice looking is in this condition, with empty storefronts everywhere. The future of this mall is uncertain at best.
