I actually use to enjoy getting pizza from here, but now we would never order from here again. Maybe it's a new staff but the customer service is horrible. Do not waste your time with this location. They gave us the wrong food, and we didn't notice until we got home. When we called to tell them, they argued saying they knew they made no mistake. Over 2 hours and no delivery. Called after an hour and a half and was spoken to rudely. Told it would be another 35 with no apology. Called after that 35 minutes and was placed on hold for 13 minutes... Until I called from another phone. Then they answered. Told me it wasn't even out for delivery yet. No apology. No offer for a future discount. Almost 2 and a half hours. Ignored my 2nd call about it. What a joke. They should be embarrassed. First of all, I tried to order online. Despite the restaurant being ~2 miles from my apartment, it said "no delivery to this area, pickup only". I called the restaurant and spoke to whoever answered the phone. I asked "The website says you don't delivery to me, but I'm not sure if that's right, because I live less than 2 miles from you. Can you tell me if I can get delivery? I don't have a car right now, so if I can't get delivery, I can't order". The young man said "Sure, you can order online". I said "No, I need to know if I can order for delivery from you. The website says I can't, but I don't think that's right because I'm so near. Also it says you deliver to my zip. I just want you to tell me if you do indeed deliver to my address." He says "I'll let you talk to the manager." Um... OK. The manager got on the phone and while he was very nice and helpful, I wasn't sure why I needed to talk to a manager. He took my order and said he'd have a look at the website, and that my food would come in about 45 minutes. Exactly 45 minutes later, I got a call from the driver. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He asked "Do you live in an apartment, or in a store?" ??? What ??? I said "... and apartment. Did they give you the right address? It's [1234 Example Street], Apt 14." The driver, Tim, said "Yeah that's what I have but my GPS didn't take me to an apartment." "Where are you?" "I'm not quite sure." OMG SERIOUSLY!!!! I then asked "What's the nearest cross street to where you are, or what's near you?" Because I've had this issue before. Depending on what GPS app drivers are using, they're about 1/2 mile not far enough, and all at the same place when they call and say they can't find my building. Tim says "A gas station". Well now THAT narrows it down! "Which gas station?" "Like an SA or something" "Or something? Are you by the SA, or not?" "I don't know" HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW WHERE YOU ARE IN RELATIONSHIP TO ANYTHING AT ALL AROUND YOU??? So I called the restaurant back. Asked to speak to the manager again. Told him "Yes, your delivery driver is lost, I think he only needs to come about 1/2 mile further north, but he's both convinced I live in a closed store and can't tell me where he is. He can't tell me what street he's by, what landmarks are there, so I don't know how to help him." The manager says he'll give him a call. 20 minutes later, my food finally shows up. It was by some miracle of god still reasonably hot, but there was a slice of cheesecake in my order. Which he didn't bring to the door. He said "It's in the car. I didn't want to put it on the hot stuff." I say "OK..." He says again "It's in the car" "Yes. Can you... go get it?" "Yeah but it's in the car." Note: we are standing AT MY ENTRANCE DOOR. "Why can't you go get it?" "Because the door will lock behind me and I won't be able to get back in" "Have you not noticed that I can see your car from here, and that odds are good I will let you back in once you retrieve the cheesecake?" "I have to go get it out of the car." AND THEN HE STANDS THERE!!!! By this time I had lost all my patience. I was like "Please. Go to the car and get the cheesecake. Walk over there, get the cheesecake out of the car, and I will let you back inside." "OK. I ran into this old flyer and remembered just how good this pizza was. I was impressed that they offer 2 types of sausage, hot and sweet. The hot was pretty spicy. I like how its sliced rather than chunks, for varieties sake. A delicious sauce too. You call them and they know immediately who you are. A nice personal touch. This place is so cool, no minimum order, and free delivery. They deliver all over too. Oakdale, Woodbury, Maplewood, North St. Paul, Lake Elmo, and St. Paul around McKnight area. I was helping some friends unpack after their move last night. We were looking for a place that delivered something other than pizza and decided to try Sarpino's in Oakdale. We were extremely pleased by the way that we could customize our sandwich orders on every aspect: bread, sauce, topping, meat, etc. The food was delicious and hit the spot. My club sandwich with pesto and mayo was the perfect comfort food. My friend's husband ordered the meatball hoagie and was excited (and impressed!) that the meatballs were cut so that they stayed in place. (Everyone has had the meatball sub experience where you take a bite and the round meatball falls out the other end!) Both sandwiches came in their own box with a bag of chips, something that wasn't mentioned on the website, and a pleasant surprise. My friend made her own customized salad that was very fresh and very good. I'm a little jealous that I don't live within this Sarpino's delivery range. First time I ordered was a custom pizza; pepperoni, pineapple and the garlic sauce and a buffalo chicken calzone. The calzone was mediocre at best, and the pizza came with a red sauce which I complained to corporate. They gave me a $10 voucher to cover the $18 Pizza. Decided to give them another chance and order the same meal within a month from last time, and my voucher given from corporate was expired. Decided to order anyway and the pizza came as expected, yet my buffalo chicken calzone had 3 pieces of sliced chicken on the entire calzone which you could tell was freezer burnt. Haven't had a positive experience at this location yet, so if you're looking at rolling the dice go ahead and try it. In my experience I would rather eat frozen pizza because you know what you're expecting at that time. read more

I ordered online and the confirmation email informed me I would be receiving my pizza in 45 - 50 minutes. An hour and 20 minutes later I called to cancel my order because it had not yet arrived. The manager told me delivery was an hour and a half to 2 hours! How was I supposed to know that, and what type of legitimate pizzeria expects their customers to wait 120 minutes for pizza! Get your delivery area figured out Sarpinos because it's absolutely ridiculous. I won't be ordering again, which sucks because your food is awesome but your service is apparently terrible. read more

I tried Sarpino's delivery for the third time, and they are either figuring things out, or were not very busy. The order taker was easy to understand, friendly, and helpful. He said my order would arrive in 45 minutes, and it was actually at my door much sooner then that. If you like thick crust, it's pretty tasty. The sauce is really good. They are horribly cheap with their toppings though, especially meats. They have this sliced very thin sausage for their Italian sausage. Not very good. So then I tried their ground beef. It comes in little pieces like bacon bits, so you can't even taste it.
