I love Saru's! But i will only recommend Saru herself!! Today I went in the morning and had someone else do my brows and upper lip and mind you I drive all the way from Koreatown to get them done because I truly love the way Saru does my brows. I didn't have time the rest of the week so I was okay with the another lady doing my brows because I trust coming here. I did not like how rough she was with it. I have a low pain tolerance and Saru will leave me with no pain or redness. But this girl left me with a small nick and redness again I usually do not get this with Saru. I love Saru's work so I'll only come at times she's in and again I drive a long distance to get my brows done because I love her work. But today was just a different experience. **Update** Last 3 times Iv gone has been such a horrible experience! The first time it went bad her coworker is the one that messed up my right eyebrow and left a patch on the bottom.. the second time Saru shaped them and added insult to injury when she said "oh you have to let this area grow out more that's why it's patch" and pointed to the area that her co worker messed up. This third time I waited 3 months to grow them out and ask her LEAVE THEM AS THICK AS POSSIBLE... she left me with chola eyebrows! So thin! Even when I brush them up with gel they're thin AF! I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but it looks like it's going downhill.. Iv referred atleast 3 or 4 people here and I'm sorry but I don't think they'll even come back after seeing how bad my eyebrows came out. read more

Saru does an amazing job every time I come in. She did my daughter's eyebrows and she couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately after years coming here they messed up my eyebrows twice I feel like it's time find a new person to do my eyebrows now.

A coworker of mine recommended Saru's to me. I usually go to a place in Alhambra, but since I was in the area, I thought I'd give Saru's a try. There was one customer ahead of me, but I didn't wait long. My threader lady was not Saru but another associate, so maybe this played into my experience, but I have some mixed thoughts about this place. I had my eyebrows and lip threaded and it looked good at first but when I got to my car and looked closer, there were lots of brow and lip hairs that were missed. I was pretty disappointed... what's the point of getting my brows done if I have to go home and do them again myself? I might come back and have Saru do them herself (my coworker told me to wait for Saru next time), but I'm also tempted to go back to my Alhambra place which charges less, is closer to where I live, and does a better job. read more

I really appreciate the quality of service I received from Saru!  I was about to go on vacation for a few weeks to Thailand, which was super hot and humid during the time I was going.  I didn't want to have to take the time to shave every other day, so i decided to wax my legs for the first time.  I had a negative experience at a well-known threading company, so I decided to call her and she told me she could take me right away.  Another lady was getting her eyebrows threaded when I got there, but as I was waiting, I was already feeling like this was the right place to do something so personal.  Her and her customer were laughing which really made for a lighthearted, friendly, and non-intimidating ambience.  She was extremely friendly to me and the company I brought. I didn't mind others watching and she was pleased to have someone else in the room laughing at my pain. She made the WHOLE experience super comfortable and enjoyable for the both of us! I was impressed at the way she took her time and kept me informed about what she was doing and using- she was honest about it too.  She notified me that there were certain spots that she may not fully be able to remove because of the length of the hairs, but she tried her best, even with tweezers.  Her place is extremely clean and everything was labeled so.   I loved her sarcasm which really took my mind off any discomfort i was feeling because, let's face it, any form of ripping hair off your body is a little uncomfortable! You can really tell she genuinely cares about her customers and the experience she provides. I highly recommend Saru!! Your eyebrows are in safe and professional hands with her! Ended up at the Emergency room after a Brazilian Bikini wax was performed. It was the most painful and excruciating pain ever . I'm not sure if it was the wax but I recommend you go to a trained and specialized person in only bikini waxes. read more
