BE CAREFUL when coming here the woman who did my eyebrows left a hairless patch on the top and didn't clean up my eyebrows properly at the bottom. I told her she left me a patch and said that she didn't do that, that I had already came in like that. She was extremely rude and kept telling me I was wrong. I went here last week before I was going to clock in for work and I got seated in chair #2. I don't know if this girl is new but I always come here and ask for a clean up and have had no issue but unfortunately my eyebrow hairs were cut drastically. I never once mentioned to cut my eyebrows down with the little scissors they have, but the more frustrating part is that they aren't growing back since they were just cut out of no where. I'm really upset but not angry and I hope people who come here really watch out to not have the same experience as me. read more

Unfortunately I do not recommend this place at least for waxing. I stopped by yesterday afternoon for face wax and needless to say it was not a fun experience. I have several burn patches throughout my face and not all hair was removed. Maybe their threading is easier on the skin. read more

Oh my God girls stop going and wasting your money elsewhere! After two years Of trying different places. The universe literally wanted me to find my girl Priti! Funny story.... We get there, she mentions " Oh, my girls back from vacation." I asked who's your girl? I look and it was my GIRL PRITI!!!!! I literally told her OMG! She looks familiar and once she gets closer I felt so good knowing I found my girl!!!! Back story... I used to do my brows with Priti at Ziba in Glendale. She was my go to for years I wanna say over five. One day to the next, the owner pulled a shady situation. I had booked online as usual with my Girl Priti. When I show up, the manager or owner tells me that she moved out of the country to help a family member. You cannot imagine how distraught I was because when you find your girl you stick to her! And I trusted her with my eyebrows and my daughter's eyebrows for years. I was also very upset because I told them why did you guys keep my appointment? Or even notify me before I showed up? I don't just let anybody touch my brows especially my daughters ! I was expecting my girl Priti to do them. I also had a very important event. The owner ended up doing my eyebrows and my daughters but didn't come out the same. I never went back to Ziba and left a pretty lengthy review on yelp. If you go back to the Yelp and read all the reviews, many were deceived the way I was. As a business owner they could've called and notified their customers ahead of time. Anyway, After many years of searching for a spot / threader. Unfortunately, I never did! Don't get me wrong I did try Brow Essense and also in Glendale and Dani is great but I can't keep paying 50 bucks for just eyebrow threading. Anyway, the new owner is suuuuper nice and friendly, her name is Mrs. Pritty/pretty (don't know how it's spelled. Sorry) She's been me of the only ones who I will allow near my brows. If she's busy & depending on whether I am in a rush or not then that's when someone else will do them. This place has another new girl who's on station 4. She's quick! Does a good job too. Called this morning because I usually see Meghna in Chair 1. I was gone on vacation for a month but was told that she retired and it's now under new management. I was sad because Meghna was definitely my go to girl. I've had people mess up my eyebrows and so I never saw anyone else. I decided to give the new lady a try. (I forgot to ask for her name). Before she started, she mentioned that my eyebrows were uneven and handed me the mirror to show me. She was personable and friendly. Eyebrow threading is $10 as of April 1, 2022. Prices are reasonable, and the wait time is too during the week however the eyebrow technicians seems to service customers based on who they know. There is a sign in sheet at the counter to write your name and service you are requesting. You would think customers would be called in the order of the list. but that's not the case. It's totally random. Totally not equitable. read more

Early this year, my brows needed some serious work so I was recommended to go here and to try out station 5. The first time I went here, it was my first time threading so it was nice to have her really take the time to do my eyebrows and make them come out perfectly. I was really in love with the shape and planned on coming back. Now, the second time I came, I was shocked at how different the results came out. I was still at the same station; however, I wasn't pleased with one of my eyebrows and she did end up cutting me. I appreciated her apologies; however, it just felt so rush and I don't know if that's because she was the only person or if a bunch of people just started coming in out of nowhere. Whatever the case may be, I was disappointed that the results weren't consistent. She did let me look at my brows before leaving but I was already in pain (probably from the cut) and you already know how awkward "the talk" is when you tell them you don't like it lol. In the end, I went out with an uneven looking brow that I could have probably done at home instead. Unfortunately, I don't know if I want to come back unless someone really convinces me otherwise. read more

AUNTIE IN CHAIR 4 DID ME DIRTY! I am FUMING. First of all, my eyebrows DO NOT MATCH. There is about a 1cm height difference between them, and she made my left eyebrow (right in the photo) way too thin and one thickness throughout the entire eyebrow. Even more infuriating was that she did the first eyebrow just fine and MESSED UP ON the second one!!! So furious! My eyebrows do not grow quickly - I literally only get them threaded maybe twice per year. It will cost be $500 to fix this mistake via mircoblading. I posted a review on Sunday June 6, 2021: got my eyelash extensions and eyebrows tinted (1st time). First of all, you could see the glue. Second, I got a red bump on my eyelid, and my eyelashes started to fall out the 3rd day, she said they would last 10 days before I had to refill. I tried to take them off with olive oil as she said, but it didn't work only some came off. She got mad at me, because she said I shouldn't have taken them off myself. Keep in mind that was my first time ever, I don't know those things & if you're a lady you know its embarrassing to walk around with a few eyelashes. Then she thought I was lying about when I got them done. She kept arguing that I got them done two Sunday's ago. I wouldn't lie to get free service, I have money to pay for a skill I don't have. We had a back and fourth argument in front on customers... embarrassing. Hang on I'm almost done, then she told me with an attitude to sit down that she would do them again, I refused because I don't want her to mess me up out of anger. Honestly, their eyebrow service (threading only) is amazing I've been a loyal customer for 2 years! But after how I was treated today I'm not going back, she showed her true colors and that negative energy was over the top. No thank you. Worst experience ever ! A month ago (day before my vacation) I went to mayas to do my eyebrows. My go to spot since they first opened in Atlantic square. I walked and the person that usually does my eyebrows "station 1" Wasn't there , only an older woman was available I was in a rush mind you I leave for my trip the next day no time to go anywhere else . I let the older woman do my eyebrows all she had to do was clean them as my eyebrows are thick and already shaped. She completely fucked up and butchered my poor eyebrows I put my trust and money thinking this was a professional place , how does a professional do that ? I ask for my money back and to speak to the owner Shes put on the phone and complete undermines the situation I send her pictures and still wants to say it's not that bad when in her voice I hear that she knows her employee fucked up she says she can fix the next day I told her I'll be on a plane the next day , and that there was no hair for her to fix I would be left with none or thin brows . She wanted to downplay the situation and decided to stop responding to me and no solution was given . I was a loyal customer that woman shouldn't even be doing eyebrows and now I have to question wether she's licensed or not . I told her a real solution would be if she would fix them once they grew out , I figured that was the LEAST she could do but the owner decided it would be better to be unprofessional instead of taking responsibility and making it right . So disappointed in her and the quality of work now given at mayas. I will never return again. I'm big on respect and I was given none . Eyebrows are a major deal to a woman's face . I couldn't even take photos on my vacation yet alone take off my sunglasses . She's amazing and kind. She constantly calmed me down when she was threading my upper lip, because that hurt like a bitch. She told me I just needed to get used to it. And my eyebrows, I wished I took a photo, was amazing! It was even, a little bushy in all the right places (i'm thankful for not having thin asian eyebrows) and it looked ravishing in photos! A very convenient, quick, and affordable threading business. I'm usually on the run, so being able to go in and out is such a plus! Each station worker threads differently, so you'll have to just try it out if you're a first timer. I recommend #2 (who is not there often) and #1 if you like to keep your eyebrows looking more natural. The other stations are good with the thinner, more dramatic looks. Everyone is nice and the place is well kept. If you're picky about your eyebrows, speak up, and I'm sure they'll help you get them the way you want. read more
