Parking is free for Bridgeport residents in season with a sticker, but I have never gotten a sticker and never had any issues. I love how there's so much to do at the park. You can grill, go to the beach, go for a walk and even ride your bike. It's a great time. The beach is small and full of rocks and pebbles. The water was freezing even in the hot weather. The walk towards the water is even worse. There's rocks everywhere you step and can be extremely painful. My sister and I both cut our feet trying to get in and out of the water so I HIGHLY recommend getting some water shoes! My favorite parking lot is the west side only because there's a bathhouse where you can change, use the bathroom and take a shower. Highly recommend to come here for a fun beach day or picnic or grilling. Love love this place!

You can walk to the Audoban land from a part of the beach which is a level and easy walk that offers great views and a view of the Stratford Point Lighthouse. We compromised with a short stroll to the shore and back, just enough to enjoy the fresh air and the view of Long Island Sound. Seaside Park is a local gem with soft sand, big grassy areas for picnics, and scenic walking paths, all designed by the same folks behind Central Park. It has a welcoming historic archway and plenty of space to stretch your legs or just sit and watch the waves. For Bridgeport residents, it's very budget friendly at just $15 for an annual parking sticker. ( I got mine today) Non residents pay more about $35 a day for Connecticut visitors and about $55 for out of state guests. Even though our visit was short and sweet, my daughter was happy just feeling the beach. It's a peaceful spot for a summer afternoon, whether you're in for a long day or just a quick breath of ocean air.
