You don't need, however, to get past even one to grasp just how special Tower Rock Lodge is. I find it difficult to contribute anything new to the accolades they've already received, and though tempted to do so, will not plagiarize the eloquently written words of those who precede me. All people/things have faults, and many people would lump service industry businesses in with businesses that tend to have more than their fair share. When it comes to Tower Rock Lodge, however, as hard as I've tried throughout my experience with them to find even one, I've not been successful...but will update this review if/when I am. Don't hold your breath. I'm a firm believer in the notion that "if something seems too good to be true, it probably is", and I'll avoid it like the plague. Tower Rock Lodge is one of the rare exceptions to this notion. It is truly good. So, not to waste any more of your valuable time, I'll cease to ramble and let you get on with booking them for your next Alaskan fishing adventure. Gabe, the Executive Chef, made sure our bellies were full of excellent cuisine. Our sockeye, coho, and halibut fillets were eagerly enjoyed by our friends and families back home. The customer service we received was again second to none. I'm anxiously awaiting my next trip back to TRL and cannot recommend them highly enough. You won't be sorry.

I booked a trip for aug 31 to sept 6 and when final emails came I would need to rent a car and drive to two of the locations which weren't close so taxi/Uber was not a option. Due to my personal situation , that was not acceptable. I had to cancel my trip but had to lose my non-refundable air fare ... Just be careful getting out of the car in your good clothes if it's been wet. Even if it hasn't been wet actually. Cusacks is very lively and regularly has complaints to the State Troopers for loud music after midnight. Everyone in the neighborhood is bothered by it. One never thought they'd be living outside the city limits by a honky tonk. But it's lively. That's for sure. There is also abundant wildlife including 8 large dogs who roam the neighborhood, poop on everyone's property and invade everyone's personal space including visits the front door. Imagine how that goes over by the resident dog. The Troopers have had many calls but so far the only suggestion is pepper spray. Outside the City Limits right. Imagine how awful that will smell at a wedding though. Anyway. I'm sure you can tell how well loved by the neighborhood these out of state entrepreneurs are. Yes. The web site spins some heart felt tale about sisters from Alaska, but the owner is one person from Out of state. But, they're making a buck so who cares right.

Escape for Two is everything you would ever want in a romantic getaway. Secluded and beautiful setting..and amazing romance packages. We stayed in the modern Yurt which is an adorable little round cottage. Its like being in a round one room cottage. We also got to stay on the firefly cabin, where if we had to do this all over again...we would stay here. Because they have a two person hot tub!!! And we will do this again :) The little breakfast packages you get in the morning are awesome! We LOVED the omlets! And if you are willing to splurg on a smoked fish platter...you will be in for a treat! We had snacks for the rest of our stay because of how generous the platter was. We loved staying here mostly because we had a stove to cook and just relax and enjoy our time together. The only thing you can't do is process fish or any game that catch. However if you caught fish...they do have a large freezer available for you to store it. You will absolutely LOVE your stay here. They really made our Honeymoon a dream come true.

John and Jackie were so friendly and outgoing. They took us horseback riding, offered to take us fishing, and invited us up to their house for coffee and banana bread. We stayed in the larger cabin and we loved it. We had a great view of the horses, had our own outdoor grill, and our own little cabin getaway. We are planning to go back to Alaska next year and will be definitely staying again.
