If I could give this place zero stars, I would. First reason I gave this place one star, is the PRICE. When we dropped off my dog they told us the price would be $65. At the time of pick-up they decided to charge us $200. Their reason being that it took them most of the day, yet we received no notification that the price would be significantly increased, just because it was difficult. That is just a lack of professionalism from our point of view. Next, they were not knowledgeable with regards to my dog which has a double coat of fur which should not be shaved, and I mean NEVER be shaved! They recommended to shave his fur as this was the easy way out. Another reason is that as soon as you walk in you will see a variety of animals who are living in extremely poor conditions. For example, they have two dirty fish tanks, a rabbit that has hardly any space to move in its cage and dirty bird cages. Last, but not least! The young daughter of the groomer was there to greet us at the door, with her pet kitten, that she had trapped underneath a French fry basket. She then proceeded to remove the basket, she grabbed the kitten by the neck and shook it like a rag doll, saying, "look at my new kitten!" The kitten tried to escape from her and the daughter slammed the kitten on the floor and she said "you're in trouble because you have diarrhea." This kitten had its behind full of feces. In my head I just thought to my self, "what have my dogs been exposed to during their visit?" In conclusion, do your pet a favor and take them to another groomer. read more

I took my long hair calico cat in for her first grooming as her hair was getting knotted And tangled on her belly and under her legs. She was obviously uncomfortable because of it. It took me a month to get an appt. I got a reminder call the night before. and a Call saying they were running 1/2 hour late. When I picked up my cat she looked and smelled great and didn't seem to be overstressed. I honestly wish that I had the same positive experience as everyone before me did. My puppy needed her first haircut and I searched Yelp and came across this location, so after ready the reviews I was excited to take her to experience what everyone before me experienced, it wasn't so. When I dropped her off at 9 in the morning the woman just opened the door (what can I say I'm punctual) I walked in and she just looked at me and I greeted her (she didn't look very happy, maybe not a morning person?) and told her I had a 9 o'clock appointment. She looked at her appointment list and my puppy wasn't on there. I told her that I called once after the initial call just to confirm my appointment and it was confirmed. She was nice enough to take her anyways, I appreciated her fitting me in, but what happened to my appointment? Anyways, she told me that the process takes a couple hours and she'd call me once my puppy was ready... I didn't feel reassured as many of my previous yelpers did. I walked out feeling a little unease. 2 o'clock rolls by and I received a call informing me that my puppy was ready at noon, she was apologetic that I wasn't called sooner. I assumed they were probably busy, and lost track of time, it happens. Once I walked in to retrieve my puppy the girl that was grooming another puppy turned and looked at me and asked what I needed help with. Whatever happened to Hi, how are you, welcome in? Or at least having a smile and greeting the customer? One of the groomers (I think was the owner) walked out from the bathroom (I'm assuming) with a clay face mask on. She walked out and saw me standing there, she walked back in and washed her face. She did ask who I was there to pick up and I gave her my puppy's name. She was nonemotional, I felt as if my dog was a transaction. Once I got home I examined her first cut... I was highly disappointed. My puppy looked as if she was the groomers first cut EVER! She had uneven hair, the groomer got creative and I don't mean that it a good way. I hate to write this review as I don't wish bad energy on anyone establishment especially since it's a small business but I hope that after reading this the owner(s) do improve their customer service and pay attention to detail when executing their haircuts. First time there and thumbs up!! My dog is now one happy dogg..he got a wash and cut and he looks and smells amazing. I dropped him off, went to work, and picked him up three hours later. The women there are so kind with great customer service. They are way better than Petsmart groomers...and are local. They were busy with lots of dogs but were fully staffed with three groomers, so they are serious about their business. Great job ladies! read more

I really wanted to like this place but it was a total disappointment! First off I got there at 9 am and there were about 4 other clients waiting patiently outside for the doors to open, the groomer finally arrived after about 5 minutes with her young daughter and let us all in. The place itself....well it felt like I walked into a garage sale. Dusty dog clothes were on display for sale, there were a few fish tanks with dirty water and a parrot with an open cage door. The little girl let me know the parrot bites..but only sometimes. I brought in my dog for a nail trim and had my paperwork ready to go ..but the groomer didn't even look at it let alone copy it or jot down any information. She seemed quite distracted from doing my pup's nails, and she made her bleed 4 times. I know my little Chihuahua hates nail trim and has long quiks but she's never bled from so many nails in one visit. I wont be back. BUMMED. read more

I brought my precious little girl in for the works. I dropped her off and picked her up 3 hours later. She looked great, was happy, and she was comfortable in the store. The young girl Ryanda, that did the grooming was very professional, caring, and was so kind my dog. The women there made me feel comfortable leaving my dog. my doggie has been going to sassy fur for a couple of years now. i do like the work they do & i applaud them for handling my not so well behaved dog with no issues. my dog always leaves there looking so cute & smelling great. the prices are totally fair. one thing does bother me - why don't they remember me or my dog? every time i call or go in to drop her off, they act like this is our first time there. after going there at least...what, 8-10 times? you'd think they would at least remember my dog by name. repeat clients who give their business over & over like to recognized. i will keep going to sassy's because of their good work & fair rates. plus they are always flexible with me when it comes to drop off & pick up times. read more

I took my dog here several times. The first few times he came back looking great and he was back home within four hours of when I dropped him off. I used to take him when they were in their old location and now their new location. The last few times I took him I was not very satisfied. They seemed to take longer with him and had no check ins from the groomer. (I was told I would get a call when he was ready). I would call to check in. One time I was told he had been ready for about 30 mins. Another time, I was told that he would be ready in 30 mins. I went 30 mins later and was told he was not ready yet and to come back in another 30 mins. I was fine with that, but when I took him back home, I noticed he had blood on one nail and a small scrape/scratch by his ear. I understand that these things can happen, but that it was not mentioned to me by the groomer was when I decided I no longer was going to take him there anymore. I felt that unfortunately the service went down from 5 stars to 2 throughout the years I took him there. The grooming ladies seem to be nice which is why I give the 2 stars. But I was not happy with the last few visits I had with my pet there. read more
