Kevin and Sara are wonderful, and their beautiful, spacious property is perfect for an energetic dog like Lucy. Before her first stay, they gave us a tour of the property and had Lucy complete a daycare trial, which gave me so much confidence. One of my favorite moments has been running into some of the staff on our walks. Lucy gets so excited and runs right up to them, which says everything about how well she's cared for there. We've boarded our blind dog Maize here twice and he loves it. We get regular videos of him having fun playing with the other dogs and wagging his tail. He gets to spend lots of time outside and has a cozy spot to sleep near his friends. We're super happy we found a place that takes good care of Maize. I have never boarded my dog before, and I was extremely anxious. My husband has boarded his large dog when we first started dating. At that place, when we picked her up, she came home sick and was neurotic for days. At this place, however, it's like she came home from a doggie vacation. They kept my reactive little dog separate from the other dogs, and he got to sleep in the same kennel as his sister. They are super bonded, and don't like being apart from each other. The big dog got to have playtime with the other big dogs, and she LOVED it. They sent us video updates at night, which also gave us such a sense of relief. I was worried about finding a daycare for my 7 month old hunt terrier pup. Then I found these guys and decided to give them a try. Off the bat they were very receptive and professional asking for vaccine papers and so on. When I arrived they have a very beautiful piece of property and are a nice young couple. They had a few dogs for the day and showed me around to put my worries at rest. When I returned to pick up my pup they ran me through the day of what took place and seemed very attentive to my pups needs; he was tired from a day of fun and play when I picked him up. We are thrilled with Kevin, Sara, and Sahara! We will be getting married in Texas in 2 weeks and were researching places for our baby boy Butter to stay while we were gone for 6 days. We found Desjardins here on Yelp and reached out. From the start, Kevin and Sara were great with communication. We set up a meet-and-greet and scheduled time to try daycare before leaving for our trip. Because of road closures due to a downed tree limb, we needed to cancel our daycare visit and were worried that we would have to cancel our 6-day stay. Dogs were happy, healthy, tired and clean when brought home. I liked the tour and their "interview " process a couple of weeks before their stay to make sure our dogs were well socialized; and I really appreciate their strict rules about all dogs being fully vaccinated for everything from rabies and annual vaccinations to the flu. They keep their facilities clean and uncrowded. I love that the dogs are off leash and able to play in an safe enclosed yard with other dogs who are at the same "socialized level." They are in kennels only at night and during meals. I also like the option to have them picked up and dropped off. Prices are reasonable but not cheap - well worth it! This was our first time boarding our dogs with Desjardins Pet Care. We will use them again! read more

My French bulldog Leo and I met with Kevin recently and it was such a game-changer! Leo was a pandemic puppy that had gone to a fairly large doggy daycare when I went back to in-person work. He had some bad experience there and the days were just too long for him; he had been a fairly mellow puppy, but he developed anxiety and some fear-based aggression. I stopped taking him out to restaurant patios and even walking him felt like a unpleasant chore. After the training with Kevin, I can now take Leo to restaurants again and he walks right next to me on his leash! It's like night and day, even though that sounds dramatic. Desjardins Dog Day care is the best thing to happen to my dog! I am so happy to have found them. They take such good care of us. They keep track of our pup's vaccine records for us. They offer boarding and training. They offer pick up and delivery. They offer to rinse her off before sending her home. My pup is SO happy to go every week. The whole team is SUPER nice. My pup is a pittie and when we adopted her, she was inexperienced being in a house. She was scared. She chewed everything. She pottied in the house. I couldn't take her out on enough walks to get her energy settled. Then, within a couple weeks of going to dog day care at Desjardins, a switch flipped in our pup. She settled down at home and became the ultimate snuggly couch potato in the house. These folks are life savers. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are with our dog. read more

I needed my puppy trained and he stayed for boarding. I was sad to leave my puppy for so long but it was definitely worth it! You can see the dramatic difference in my dog's behavior and Kevin sent updates regularly including videos and pictures of my pup. At the end, Kevin drove to my house and helped go over everything my puppy learned and how to keep up with it, along with giving my access to certain dog training videos to follow. So impressed! Our Great Dane is spoiled and very loved at home, but she needed some help with discipline so she could be safe around other dogs and out in public, on and off-leash. He continued this thorough and thoughtful customer service throughout her entire two week Board-and-Train and after. He went out of his way to get to know our dog's unique needs, then texted us daily updates and photos/videos during her stay. He took her on field trips and hikes, and most importantly, he made sure she felt comfortable and loved throughout her stay. She came home with a new sense of discipline and skills and Kevin spent time with us to teach us how to continue her training at home.
