They came to my home to groom my large doodle. They had come 1 time previously, which was the first time he'd been groomed professionally... They bathed him and then combed him all out into a big fluff ball...I was hoping they would style him but they said they didn't have time but would come back soon and do that. Because they are so busy it took awhile for them to come back and said they also wanted to do more dogs in same area.. it took awhile for them to return ..I don't remember how long... 6 weeks maybe...this time they were going to bathe, comb out and style him... we discussed how he would be styled. We looked at pictures. They took him to their van to groom him. I was excited to see him styled and eagerly awaited to see the reveal. They finished, came to the door.. . I opened the door and there stood my doodle completely shaved... I mean no hair on his body was even 1/2" ... except for the lower 1/2of his tail Was long... They even shaved half his tail... it wasn't even matted... I was in disbelief. They said he was so matted that they had no choice but to do that. I was mortified.... I said you are in my driveway. When we talked we were discussing , with the dog standing there , the doodle styles and now I have a bald dog. You couldn't have come to my door and told me what you were planning to do? I went from a fluff ball the previous visit to a bald dog. If you told me what you were planning I wouldn't have let you do that,,, They had all these reasons why... I think mostly they didn't have time... and if he was matted it's because it took them so long to come back... Then they present me with a very big bill.. extra hour because it took a long time. Extra $20 because he was a difficult dog to do. They saved every hair off his body.. except half a tail.... They told me I had to pay right then and there .... This was around a year ago. I haven't said anything before. I see a lot of good reviews. I just hope for everyone else this doesn't happen to you. It was very disappointing, stressful... I think unnecessary .. read more

I can't say enough good things about Pawsitive Mobile Groomers. I've been working in customer service for over 30 years and these gals are the best that I've ever seen. They took our two dogs in, and when they are finished, it looks like they are from a prize show for the grooming that was done. I know you will be overjoyed with their excellent services. This was the first time my new rescue was going to be groomed. Sans the old "bath in the sink" he was in desperate need of a hair cut, nail trim and another bath. Lynsey was so patient and careful with him. He recently recovered from an injury and she made sure to be mindful of that. She also knew how to trim his fur. Pomeranians often don't grow hair back when they get teddy bear or lion cuts. I was glad she knew this! I wasn't sure how he would respond to being groomed. He did great! We've had 2 services in the past and the team was on time and did a great job with our German Shepard. Unfortunately on this last appointment they tried 2 times to cage the times and both times I said we couldn't accommodate. The final time they mentioned that that could make the time but had to be at another client shortly after my appt. making me feel that we wouldn't have the same service as the past and we'd be rushed. when I said i would reschedule the next times they had were several weeks out. Inexperienced groomers. Nicked my dogs belly, which I didn't notice till is scabbed over. I tried to cancel my appointment but could not figure it out on their app. By the time I had service again to text the number, I missed the 48 hour cancellation window by about 3 hours. They were not helpful, dismissive, argumentative and demanded I pay a $125 fee. Its not like I canceled the day of, or even the day before! They offered zero grace, even when my dog had been injured.
