Paid to have a "Happy Birthday " sign put in our yard for my daughter's 16th birthday. When she woke up today there was NO sign in our yard! We re-checked the conformation email and saw that it stated the sign will be installed by 9:00AM. 9:00AM passed, still no sign, so we emailed them asking for a full refund. Communication in the beginning wasn't bad it was mainly via email. However, my issue is the security deposit. My event was in July of 2022 and here it is the end of March 2023 and still no deposit. Spoke with Taylor today via phone who couldn't give me a solid answer as to why I still have not received my deposit back. This is definitely bad for business and basically stealing. I was told when I returned all the items that I will receive my security deposit via check in the mail within 1 to 2 weeks. Only use this company if you are okay with not receiving your deposit back. I rented farm tables and chairs from this company and was required to pay a deposit that according to contract would be returned within 14days. We are almost 30 days out and I have yet to receive my deposit. I have sent various emails and made numerous phone calls that have gone unanswered. Basically, each time they tell you the owner is unavailable and needs to cut the check. Absolutely ridiculous! A reputable company would not need you to hound them to return a deposit. To be fair it seems that there was an consultation in progress so I didn't want to interrupt, thinking maybe there was someone else there that could assist me. The venue probably rents upgrades, but look here first - they are almost certainly going to be cheaper, and they will probably have a better selection. And they don't just do chair covers! Look to them for everything you need to decorate your ceremony and reception that isn't flowers. I ordered chair covers, uplighting, some accent tablecloths, table runners, sashes for the head table, and a backdrop for behind the head table. Everything looked perfect! Best company to get decorations! They have many options that comes with an affordable and reasonable price. The service is great and working with them is so convenient. I visited their office in Naperville and they have some tables and centerpieces set up as examples and it was kinda nice to see them in person before signing the contract. If your venue offers table cloths / table runners with your preferred color motif, check with satin chair cover to see (most likely theirs is cheaper than the ones from your venue**that was the case with mine). Their chiavari chairs are also offered at a nice price compared to others. Since their office was far from our house, we communicated through e-mail or calls and they responded so quickly and got back to me right away when I had a question. They have delivery and pick-up service which is awesome coz we did not have to worry about a thing the night of our wedding. Everything was pleasant, their centerpieces are all in great quality and unique. Working with Natalia was great. She's friendly, organized and was very helpful. Ivone took care of us mostly and she is the BEST! Terrible company. Do not use. Natalia is extremely rude and gave me problems the entire time I was dealing with her regarding the planning of my wedding. She even was going back and forth with me because I wanted to pay up front instead of closer to the wedding. Are you serious?? The final straw is while at my wedding they threatened to take the back drop down before I got back to the ceremony room to take pictures! How dare you do that on my wedding day! Go somewhere else for your wedding decor needs. You will have problems here. They deserve zero stars. UPDATE: a few hours after making the initial review, I got a text because I left a negative review! It's funny that when I was reaching out during my wedding planning, I could barely get a call back and would constantly have to call them. Their communication internally and externally needs a lot of work - impossible to get a hold of them, added a lot of stress week of wedding. Terrible experience ! Unfriendly and unhelpful on the phone. Called to ask a few questions and was treated like they were doing me a favor. Where has good customer service gone? I mistakenly decided to rent linens which came stained. You have to sign your life away to rent 6 tablecloths... sign a contract ... pay $100 deposit AND prepay for their over priced linen. The linen was not the requested length, about 2 inches too short. I even measured. The worst part was they shorted me a linen and I mistakenly did not realize until the problem until the next morning (the morning of the event). So I had a table to run to the store to find a similar table cloth since they are closed Sunday's. I realize it was my mistake for trusting the girl and not counting myself but no accountability was taken by the store. I spoke to the manager who told me he would call back and did not. He also said mistakes on their end was not possible...I did not press the matter because the two receptionists were so rude and hostile it made me feel uncomfortable. The one woman told me I was lying and was far more upset than I was... I was the calm and understanding one and I'm the customer!! Ultimately spent $200 to rent 5 stained linen for 1 day. We got married in October and used Satin Chair Covers for our background behind the head table. We had wanted to use them for draping around the door entrance, but due to some restrictions at the venue we had to change that plan. Our backdrop was a beautiful gold with sequins and really made everything pop! We did change our mind a few times and Diane was great to work with. My only concern was that at one point I was confused about what we owed and the person who responded to my email had quite a bit of attitude, which was not cool. Satin Chair is the company that worked with our event hall. Aside from the chair covers, which were part of our package, we also selected to use them for a sequin backdrop to the head table and additional sequin tablecloths on the cake table, place card table, and guest book table. The pieces were beautiful and really had that "wow" factor. We got so many compliments on how the room looked, they did a great job! Two things to make sure of before using them, 1. Be sure to pay your final balance well before they contact you. If not, you will be charged a credit card fee to do it less than 2 weeks out. Even being extremely organized, I let this one slip past me. 2. If you put a deposit down for something (we did for our runner), be sure to make a note to yourself to get it back. I had to follow up with them 3-4 times to get them to send it back. Other than that, it was a great experience! read more
