Outdoor seatings with live music and food truck
    Jetiya S.

We stopped by for a beer after dinner. They offered good beers, food truck (burger truck today), outdoor seatings by the creek with live music. It's a fun and layback vibe. Puppies are welcome too:) I sampled some of their beers, and picked the amber which was GABF award, good one! My friend had a lighter beer and she was happy with it. Staff were friendly, gave good recommendation, and their beer samples.

Named for the famous feature on Trail Ridge Rd. Upping my age old review to 5 stars. This has now became a favorite for me since the more known place in town has gotten a little old and stale. Laurie the bartender today was super nice. Oktoberfest brew was super good. Nice vibe in the taproom. Love the wood accents and chill music. Nice place that is very close to town and a must stop in town.

This brewery had everything we could ask for. Reasonably priced flights, crowlers, cool atmosphere and great souvenirs. They had a food truck outside but we did not order lunch.

We have ordered Paloma and their featured flight. Paloma is definitely one of the best beer I ever had. It is fruity with sweet and sour notes, which I really enjoyed. Featured flight highlights 5 of their beers, each of them with their own punch. Out of those, personal favorite was galactic portal IPA. We took our time in the brewery while it was raining out, the environment was welcoming and peaceful. Highly recommend!

    Tasty flight!

We really like Rock Cut! We've come here a few times over the years, each time after hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP), and it's a great place to unwind after a day's hike. There's lots of seating including both indoor and outdoor options and their prices are very good as well. The beer is tasty and their IPAs in particular are very good (fitting for Colorado!). The staff are fun and relaxed and it's just a fun place to visit overall. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to RMNP!

The service was amazing. The bar hostesses were very accommodating and friendly. They were also very engaging to those at the bar and who were ordering with questions. The ambience was very chill and easy going. Did not try any food, but the drinks were amazing.

Delicious beer and friendly staff! Dog friendly plus a food truck on site! Highly recommend! Every beer I tried was incredible!!

It was rather empty on a Monday evening but don't let that deter you from a friendly staff and great beer. I had the Interference IPA. It was cold, hoppy but smooth, with hints of citrus. Very good and a great choice for me. Husband wanted to try a flight. They have a featured flight where they choose the beers which (I think) is a little cheaper than picking your own. Husband doesn't like dark beer so he chose his own of all lighter options. We sat at a table inside but it looked like they had a small patio next to the pub. They also had a few shelves of games if you want to pass some time away. Good stop.

Came here after a hike in RMNP with some friends. It was the perfect spot for a cold beer and a snack after a long day of hiking. Wasn't super crowded when we got there. They have a rotating food truck spot. The day we went they had a taco truck. The beer was good & they had a lot of options to choose from. The patio is nice and somewhat covered. Dog friendly I believe. Overall one of the better breweries in Estes in my opinion.

Quick stop before heading over to Rocky NP. Compared to the other breweries we've been to in Colorado, this place landed at the bottom for us. The beer had very one dimensional flavors. We really wanted to like this place because of the outdoor patio seating by the river. Galaxy Portal - fruity and hoppy. It tastes like the rind of the grapefruit and is super bitter. This is our second favorite. Snow Trace - better of the two IPAs. Bivy Brown Ale - it's dark beer but has a watery aftertaste. The initial taste is good though. Altruism - very bitter and our least favorite. Lime Crusher - light beer that's citrusy but not tart. This was our favorite.

Got the Yelp Check-In flight: #1: light and and a nice lime flavor that wasn't overbearing. Very refreshing. #2-4: bitter, watery, one-dimensional - in short, absolutely inedible. #5: 5% grapefruit, 120% hops. Is this why they call it hazy? This is supposedly the best place in Estes Park but it's a disgrace to the craft beer scene. The water is pretty good, though.

    Beer list and featured flight

Got the featured flight and all the beer was fantastic! Great selection of beer (Pilsner, lager, English porter, hazy pale ale & IPA) in the featured flight. Best of all, no duplicates. Service was great! Bar tender was very attentive and friendly.

Beer was great! Got the flight so we could taste a few. Nice to sit outside with sounds of the River. Very laidback.

Great beer and a nice outdoor seating area. Get some food from the food truck, or the Chinese place next-door, and take it to the patio!

We sampled a beer flight with four beers and also ordered a margarita. One of the bartenders was fantastic. She took the time to ask what flavors I liked, recommended a different liquor for my margarita, and customized it to better match my taste. It turned out great, and I really appreciated the extra effort. The male bartender was friendly, but I was a little disappointed when I asked if they could make an espresso martini. He said they didn't have the ingredients, even though they had another coffee-based cocktail on the menu. It would have been nice if he had suggested a creative alternative using the cold brew or whatever they had available. Not a big deal, just a missed opportunity. They don't appear to serve food themselves, but there was a food truck parked outside when we visited, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we had a great experience. To note, I've only ever been here for lunch, never dinner until last night. We drove over from Boulder to have kombucha and awesome BBQ, like we have in the past. When we arrived for dinner, there was a DJ and trivia going on inside, so we decided to sit outside on the front porch and it was beautiful out! Perfect weather. Our first disappointment started with the service. One thing I enjoy about going out is being waited on and customer service but the hostess said I had to scan the QR code and order my own food and pay the bill from my phone, the server just brings out the items as they're ordered. I've enjoyed interacting with staff and Kyle in the past and I'm very social, so I was not happy about missing out on the customer service experience. We ordered the kombucha, which hasn't changed and was delicious as always. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of cole slaw and cornbread and my husband ordered the Smoked Beef Dip with a side of cole slaw. Both of our sandwiches were lacking meat, it was mostly bread. And my sandwich was very dry; I added sauce but the sauce outside on our table was very soupy (not sure if that's normal or if the consistency changed from the temperature outside). After tax and tip for 2 kombuchas and 2 sandwiches, our bill was $67. Overall, I was really disappointed by my dinner experience. Total bummer.
