They were battered to perfection, fried to the ideal crisp and served with equally tasty fries. They should really be an everyday menu item instead of a special. Really cool brewery in the heart of downtown Louisville. We stopped here to meet some friends for some beers and got a few rounds. I tried the Cactus Juice which was a very tasty, not to sour beer (awarded bronze at 2022 World Beer Cup). My husband and I got the pesto panini to share which came with delicious frites. The sandwich was very meh - small, on simple white bread and lacking in toppings (pretty dry). The frites were amazing though! I don't drop 5a that often, but the quality of service, Belgian Ales, made-to-order food (at least that's how it seems), and service were five star across the board. Top of my list - the he patty melt. Locally sourced ground beef, great balance with cheese, and pickled onions that put this on my "next level " list. Sat outside on those beautiful Colorado fall & enjoyed the serenity. The Spartichoke panini was DELICIOUS! Definitely a different spin on a grilled cheese. The artichokes added the right amount of bite. The Fish & Frites were had by my husband and we loved it. We were both pleasantly pleased & enjoyed every bite. Management is spot on. New to the Lafayette/Louisville area and thought this place was cool! Parking in this part of Louisville was difficult aha, but that was expected. I went to 12 Degree by myself and was quickly sat at the bar. Bartenders and employees overall were pretty nice. It was incredibly busy for it only being 5 PM, so beware if you have a big group. I ordered the Cactus Juice Sour which was super yummy and to say one of my favorite sours that I've ever had! On top of that, got the Spartichoke Panini (spinach, artichoke, garlic, cheese panini) which was solid. If you don't get garlic though be careful because they put the whole garlic pieces in there haha. Cheese pull was perfect and the frites were solid too! Just wish they were seasoned a bit more. I personally like traditional IPAs (Not Hazy IPAs) and they unfortunately do not have one that they brew which I found odd. Asked for big napkin, bartender ripped a strip of paper towel and tossed it onto the table. As if how dare we ask for an actual napkin. Had ordered two meals plus a flight of chocolate for dessert. Music so loud other guests so obnoxious, we decided to leave after 15 minutes. Canceled dessert. I was in a panic/fight flight freeze state from the noise and being crammed in so close to other guests on previous visit, the tables were further Table so close together, difficult to get out. I bumped into Guy all at table laughed. Iasked "that's funny?" One guy looked at my butt and said "yeah that's funny." Pointing. I Said "what a bunch of assholes." Tired of beer bars that just serve 15 "different" hazy IPAs? Come to 12 Degree. It's probably the only place in Boulder county that does several Belgian-style beers well and features them year-round. Go-to date night spot for me and the missus. They can get loud and busy, but I almost always get beer and food quick. Might be my favorite local brewery. Great frites (with mayo, the way God intended!), good pizza (the menu is almost entirely vegetarian but they don't boast about that at all, which I love) and for real, some of my favorite beers of all time. I mentioned the great Belgian-styles, but Pining for the Fjords is literally the best. Side note- I brought my kids here once for an afternoon bite and it was fine, but it's not really built for that. More of a grown up spot. read more

Being in Colorado, almost all breweries have delicious food but this place took it to another level! The food can rival any stand alone restaurants. Loved the colorful and fresh hummus plate with the best flatbread I've tasted! The jicama was so fresh and refreshing that it just became my favorite veggie! And you just can't beat the warm pillow-y soft flatbread. The prosciutto pizza was super tasty featuring the perfect thin crust and loads of flavors! You'll be full after eating is unlike any other thin crust pizzas that leave you wanting for more. Hubby said the IPAs are great! It's a cool hangout spot with friends and for families. There seems to be something about this place and meat. After ordering, we all realized you could get something with meat but it was a bit of a special item. Strange. Not complaining but not the norm that you find a mostly vegetarian microbrew. I got the en fuego pizza. Oh, and a beer too. It is a brewery so that's a thing. The pizza has a good amount of vegetables on top so it lets you pretend you're eating something healthful. The pizza was like a large flatbread and tasted good. Not my favorite pizza but it was actually probably better for me than the common version. The beer was also good. Not super memorable but I'll give points for the names. We came here late Saturday afternoon for our monthly date at my husband's request, and we really enjoyed our time here! Maybe it was the time of day, but it seemed like we were in the minority by not having our kid with us. We were surrounded by children, which we happily noted. (This means that we can bring our little one next time we visit 12 Degree Brewing if we so choose.) My beer-loving husband ordered the Cherry Fog and the Blackberry Beret beers and gave them both his approval by quickly gulping it all down. I, the non-drinker, happily sipped my cream soda as we enjoyed our pretzels with honey mustard and the mushroom pesto pizza. The pretzels were alright, but they are a far cry from my favorite Avery pretzel with the cheesy beer dip. However, the flatbread pizza was absolutely delicious. Best part was the it was a HUGE pizza that we shared and still had leftovers to take home. Something that is built into 12 Degree Brewing's service model is that any and every one of the employees will serve all the tables, which means that you'll have several people ask you if they can take your order. While it's a nice touch that ensures that you're not sitting there too long without someone helping, it can also be a bit irritating to tell several people that you've already been helped. The feel of this establishment was nice. Calm and relaxing. I was glad to get my order in before they were done serving at 8 pm. The food came out fresh and hot. While I want to support local businesses, I still have to note my dislikes. The pizza needed more time as when I went to pick it up, it was floppy. My order didn't come with utensils so I had to get up and ask. Even with trying to cut each bite using a fork and knife, it was a challenge. The toppings were good but needed salt to really open up the flavor. I decided to box it, take it back to my hotel and reheat it in a pan with butter to help crisp it up. After doing that and adding salt, it was divine! I hope I get to try this joint again on my next business trip and have a better experience. read more

Great spot to spend a nice afternoon or evening. We have been wanting to try this spot for a while and finally grabbed a table on a sunny Friday evening. We sat in the outdoor seating, which was the perfect ambience. They also have indoor seating with a big garage door that they open up in good weather. The beer selection was plentiful, and everything we had was fantastic. We tried a sour, an IPA, and a light beer and loved them all. The pizza was good, but nothing to write home about. I went there to watch Sunday night football on a chiller fall night. I went for the Caprese salad as a small appetizer, which could have a little bit of Mozzarella Cheese. As my main course, I shared a Prosciutto Pizza and the Humongi Fungi Pizza with my Girlfriend. Both Pizzas were outstanding. The Prosciutto Pizza was baked correctly, where the Prosciutto put on after the pizza came out of the Oven. Therefore, the Prosciutto is not more dehydrated overcooked or burnt. Humongi Fungi was delicious as well, the right combination of different types of mushrooms together served on a white sauce. Beers. I was a chillier fall day, so I went for: - Velour Fog Quadrupel - Strong, complex deep amber Abbey Ale. Notes of dark fruit, cherry, and caramel. I was pleased with the Beer and then changed it up for my second Beer with: - Treachery Golden Strong Ale - Pale in color yet devilishly strong, our golden strong ale is crisp & fruity w/ a light mouthfeel & a clean finish. Overall the service was great. There were a couple of times where we had to try a little bit harder to get the server's attention, it was a slow night, though, and football was on so I could blame him. I loved the humongi fungi pizza, flavorful mushrooms under melted mozzarella and white truffle oil. The frites are also very good, and perfect to share (cut thick but still very crisp because they are twice fried, like they do in Europe), the Caprese salad is very tasty, another great one to share as an appetizer. The beer was great too and very well-priced compared to what I've experienced in the area since moving here two weeks ago ($8 pints seem to be the norm rather than exception). While I have been there in person and it was wonderful; with a cool atmosphere, good beer and good food what I am really writing this review about it an experience that happened more recently. We live in Missouri and my beloved sister in law and family live in Louisville. It was her birthday on 5/5 and I called 12 Degree to see if they deliver beer, wanted to send my SIL a special quarantine birthday present. As it turns out they were not offering delivery. However, Tucker, one of their awesome bartenders offered to personally drop off some beer on his way home after his shift. I easily paid over the phone for the beer and he dropped it off with a hand written note allowing my SIL to have an awesome birthday surprise. I appreciate the service so much, especially during these crazy times. Can't wait to visit again and personally thank Tucker and the rest of the staff. read more
