The app/portal doesn't list all of my appointments and there's no way to communicate with my doctors (even though they told me to communicate with them through the app/portal). When I leave a message with the front office for the doctor, the doctor doesn't get the message, etc. The front office seems to change personnel frequently and whenever I have to call them because I can't get the information in the system and there's no way to communicate in that app/portal they have, it's a long hold time and a 15-20 minute call. It's extremely frustrating, time-consuming, it seems like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing over there. I don't understand why they can't get their front office trip together. I tolerate it because I like the doctors I see there...the three I see are all wonderful. But the administrative arm of that practice needs some serious revamping.

While I understand being short-staffed can be stressful, I was placed on hold multiple times during the call while Jill repeatedly emphasized that she was working alone and assisting patients in the lobby. Although I tried to remain understanding and patient, the interaction became increasingly unprofessional. When I attempted to explain the reason for my visit regarding pre-operative care, I was told that I needed to drop off my pre-op orders before even being able to schedule an appointment. While I was willing to comply, the process seemed unusual and was not clearly explained. What concerned me most was Jill's demeanor when I politely asked for her name and role at the office for my own reference. She appeared offended and questioned why she was "being interviewed." Her response and overall attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a prospective patient. Customer service and professionalism are extremely important in healthcare settings, especially for new patients seeking care. Unfortunately, this interaction left such a negative impression that I no longer feel comfortable establishing care at this facility.

During his visit with Dr. Lavi he insisted he get new blood work to confirm his diagnosis yet failed to submit the right order. The office acknowledged their mistake but said the doctor refused to put in the correct order because my husband had been approved to see a podiatrist (for an unrelated issue) so he recommended he have the podiatrist treat him for gout. When I called member service to report him they disclosed the doctor had no notes about gout in his file. He failed to do his job in every way.

At this point, it's almost laughable! Appointments (especially with any specialists) are now booked four months or more out. I scheduled a first-time consultation with Dr. Sofia Avitia for 12/26/2025. I made this appointment back in September! Then, on Wednesday 11/26 I received a call in the afternoon informing me that the doctor would not be available on 12/26 and that I would need call to reschedule. When I called them back on Monday 12/1 after returning home Thanksgiving vacation, I was told the next available appointment was March 6th!!! Keep in mind, I'm seeking this appointment because I'm having swallowing issues. So after scheduling in September, I now cannot be seen until March, which comes out to reaching a six-month window. This is exactly why I say the scheduling situation has almost become laughable and completely unacceptable. I went ahead and grabbed the March 6 appointment just in case I cannot find another doctor sooner, but given my symptoms, I have no choice but to search for someone who can see me within a reasonable amount of time. Considering the inconvenience, I expected at least some level of priority, but instead I felt like I was treated as if I were calling to make an initial appointment all over again. What is really going on at Facey? It is now almost impossible to make any appointment at a reasonable time. I honestly believe they will soon reach a six month scheduling window, which is crazy.

I cannot begin to describe the nightmare that has been dealing with the office staff. I fell 60…read morefeet down a cliff and sustained (thankfully) minor injuries, a fractured ankle and L2 Fracture but was very very sore, as you can imagine, all over and hardly able to move for the first week The accident happened in Idyllwild and I was airlifted to Riverside. From the first incidences of calling into Dr. Lloyd's office to get a referral for an orthopedic doctor, the staff paid no attention at all what happened to me and what I needed. They wanted me to come into the doctor's office to see the doctor to get the referral, which makes no sense. That's what the medical records from the hospital are for. I repeatedly asked for Dr. Lloyd to call me directly which never happened. I felt stonewalled by the staff the entire time. Each time I talked to someone else who knew nothing about my previous calls. I should have been able to receive an authorization based on the medical records sent from Riverside, but his staff, who cared little about the actual nature of my injuries and conditions, refused to allow that to happen. The staff then told me that Health Net had changed my PCP and I was no longer covered under Dr. Lloyd. Health Net has no record of that change at all. The staff then sent a referral for an orthopedic in Torrance, CA, which is nowhere near North Hollywood, claiming that my group had been changed to the South Bay, also, there is no record of that at Health Net. Only Health Net would have been able to change my PCP and since they have no record of that happening, I can only assume this was made up by the staff at Dr. Lloyd's office. Unless they can provide evidence to the contrary, that must be the case. I ended up having to go into the office, at which time Dr. Lloyd should have ordered x-rays since they were necessary for my authorization to go through. He did not and I had to revisit the doctor again the next day to get the x-rays needed to go to the orthopedic doctor at which time, the nurse had put in for an EKG... which I don't need, so thankfully I spoke up and said that didn't need that. I have filed a grievance with Health Net and recommend that others do the same if they've had issues with this office, please contact your insurance company and file a grievance. Health Net was able to find an orthopedic doctor in Sherman Oaks. I will be calling Regal to confirm the authorization and then going through that Orthopedic doctor. I will be changing my PCP once all of this is done and over. I wish I had checked these yelp reviews prior to choosing this PCP.
