January 2024, I called Saturn air to look at my Trane furnace that was intermittently experiencing a safety lock out. Chris was taking parts elsewhere and stopped by to inspect my furnace. He recommended that I check the "air side" of my system for the problem as I have some mechanical experience and was comfortable crawling in my attic. I must say I doubted Chris's hunch as to what my furnace issue was. However, when I inspected my return air duct in the attic, it was crushed from storage boxes and starving the furnace of intake air. Chris was right! I first learned of Chris and his company, Saturn Air, through a mutual friend, Greg Bowers of Northaire supply, an HVAC supplier. Chris has repaired my 22-year-old Trane furnace several times over the years as parts failed and I called. Chris has a professional manner and is extremely knowledgeable of HVAC equipment. If he does run into a troubleshooting challenge, Chris has other peers in the industry to network with as a resource. That's a huge plus for a customer to have one technician with experience and the depth of many resource connections to resolve a "problem child" HVAC unit and complete the repair. Our heat went out the night before Christmas and he came over first thing the morning after the holiday (because I told him to spend it with his family) and he got us back up and running in no time. He figured out the root cause quickly and efficiently, and gave us advice on what to do in the future to prevent the issue. So far so good!! What puts him on my five star list, he also checked out our system and noticed our heater's wiring had been changed from the default, which could be the reason it's so inefficient. We have an old, double-sided gas wall heater. It had a valve problem. We were told that they didn't make that part anymore. We called Saturn on the recommendation of a friend. Referring to Yelp, some reviewer mentioned that he responds quicker by text and they were correct. He said that he was booked for 1.5 weeks. I called Cobalt and they were also booked for 1.5 weeks.
