chicken wings wrapped in tin foil

First time ordering from here and it def. won't be my last. My boyfriend told me this restaurant had great wings so I knew I had to order. Of course I had to order fried jumbo shrimp as well! Only thing I didn't like was that there was no blue cheese for the wings & no soda that was supposed to come with the wing meal with fries & soda. I can't wait to order from here again and try new wings and different dishes!

Pretty good, I work late, so I always order and pick it up at 12am! Super tasty. I usually always get boneless Lemon pepper chicken

The…read moretall white male employee at the checkout counter did not say hello to me when I ordered, just directly asked "What do you want" in a cold tone. But when two white female customers arrived, he said hello to them before they even reached the counter and was noticeably warmer and more polite. Even worse, when a Black female customer later arrived and said "hi," the employee did not reply to her at all and just asked "You want this?" -- the coldest treatment of all. White customers got the most warm treatment with greetings, non-white customers (including me) got no greeting and direct cold tone, and Black customers got the worst treatment with no basic response even when they greeted first. This microaggression made me feel deeply disrespect. All customers should receive equal service regardless of their race. I expect the management to investigate this employee and provide anti-discrimination training to staff. I will not be returning until this is addressed. Others should be aware of this discriminatory treatment.

There's a camaraderie in the room that invites you to slow down, connect, and truly experience both the conversation and the food. Everything feels considered. My best friend and I each ordered the prix fixe menu, and it was a journey from start to finish. I began with the Spicy Corn & Coconut Soup--honestly, unforgettable. The crispy shallots added just the right amount of texture against the velvety base, and each spoonful layered flavor in a way that felt both comforting and elevated. For my main, I had the kichuri, and Chef Alex Guzman absolutely shines here. He is a star--full stop. There's a clarity and confidence in his cooking that you can taste. The cilantro chutney was perfection, and the way the mint lingers alongside the spice... it's the kind of balance that only comes from someone who truly understands their craft. You can feel his care in every bite. I ended with the key lime pie, and all I can say is thank you. The whipped cream was fresh and airy, the lime zest bright without overpowering, and the crust tied everything together beautifully. It felt like a thoughtful, intentional close to an already incredible meal. I highly recommend starting with the guava mocktail, then pairing your main with the fig mocktail--both are perfectly crafted and complement the dishes so well. Also, sit at the bar. Let Dan guide you through the experience. Trust his recommendations--you will not be steered wrong. He elevates the entire evening. And the playlist? Y'all really did that.

The singing, music selection, and interaction was fantastic. I believe their name was New Soul Band or something similar. I think they are there for the summer. We placed our order. Since there we six of us, we moved two tables together. By the time we rearranged tables and selected our seats, our meals were ready. We received our food quickly and right before the band started. A couple of us ordered the Harlem Classic with regular fries. Others ordered the Hot Mess and Jerk Chick Sandwich with Sweet Yam Fries. Everyone enjoyed their order. Customer service was great. The atmosphere was informal and very relaxing. We enjoyed ourselves.

Called twice, and while the staff answering the phone were certainly polite and respectful, they could only tell me that the order was "in their system and out for delivery". They could not track the driver, who they said was driving "multiple routes" (whatever that means). That makes zero sense. Weather was pleasant. Roads were clear. It was a Sunday evening, not the busiest time of the week for sure. No major sporting events on TV. No excuse. When the food finally arrived (almost 90 minutes late), the burgers were ice cold, and the shakes were drippy soup. I really want to support local business, but it's hard to do that when a very simple delivery order (only $50) is too much for them to handle. And one would think that, at the very least, some sort of refund or gift card would be in order for this inexplicable failure on their part. Nope. Nada. Sorry, but I cannot recommend Harlem Shake. Order from them at your own risk. You would be wise to eat a meal first.
