Saucy's was so yummy! I dined in for dinner a couple of weeks ago and every item hit the spot. I seriously wanted to order so much more but dining solo is the name of this game and I got through a good amount and had leftovers for dinner the next evening. Their fresh spring rolls were delish! A perf starter on a warm summer evening. I ordered the yellow curry and brown rice for my main entree and packed a little less than half of all three items to bring home. I knew from the jump I needed to try the mango sticky rice. I think my server thought there's no way she wants dessert since she couldn't finish her food but he quickly learned I most certainly did. I devoured every last bite of this dessert. It was sooooo scrumptious. I'm surprised I haven't been back just to order it. I loved how diverse the restaurant was. It was really nice to see that the town clearly enjoys their Saucy's. My family, like many all have infamous "menu drawers" in our respective homes. Saucy's was the first to go menu I've brought home. I specifically asked for one to start my menu drawer here. Highly recommend! Will most definitely be my new Thai spot.

The cuisine is delectable, the service is good, and the ambiance is cool. I thoroughly enjoy it.

Look at the dust buildup on this beauty! Right on the front counter as you enter the store.

Disappointing is all I can say! The entrance to the restaurant says, "Please wait to be seated." Great, I can wait but once I looked around, I couldn't believe how dirty this place is. The fake plants at the entrance at the counter are covered in dust, literally months and months worth of dust. The bathroom was horrible too. Think of what the cook is using! Ugh! Food was not great at all. The Tom Yum soup was terrible. No galangal root, kaffir, or lemongrass flavor at all! Couldn't come close to finish eating it! The papaya salad was good, but not more than 4 stars. They brought my Thai iced tea at the very end of the meal... wtf? Multiple tables not cleaned, and just not a place I would ever go back to again.... And I don't ever give this bad of a review of a Thai place! Just don't!!!!

Had Pad See Ew delivered on a Saturday night after driving home from Austin. Under 30 minute delivery and piping hot. Big chucks of chicken and spicy hot just as I'd ordered it. Big noodles and perfect size for me.

Food was good. However, the peanut sauce was a bit runny for my liking; I like my peanut sauce thick. Additionally, I found it a bit over priced. I paid $21 for tofu pad see eww, white rice, and peanut sauce. Also, the staff seemed overwhelmed. I stood around waiting for someone to assist me for a few minutes. They also didn't provide a fork and since I was staying at a hotel I had to go back in to get one and once again I had to wait to be helped. However, overall I would recommend.

Returned to this after more than 3 years based on the recent good reviews. Our experience was similar to last experience where items were hit or miss Ordered : Pad Ke Mao with Tofu and Pad ke Mao with Chicken and Yellow fried Rice ( spice 4 on all them) Taste: Pad Ke Mao was very average and lacked flavor. Chicken was barely added. Yellow fried rice on the other hand was the best by mile, had great flavors. Service : placed online order and it was ready by the I got there. Overall I will be careful on what I order here. It has been hit or miss

Best Thai restaurant in Dallas! Start your dinner with the refreshing papaya salad and get a small kick of spicy and tangy. The tom yum soup is delicious! We added an order of fried veggie egg rolls and finished off the meal with the traditional sweet mango sticky rice! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Since moving to the Dallas area recently, we have been on the hunt for a solid Thai place to satisfy our cravings and Saucy's might be the one! We will definitely be back. We tried to come here once before but they happened to be closed due to technical issues, but luckily our second try was a success. They initially seated us at a table right under a fan and when we remarked that it was a bit too cold, they kindly allowed us to switch tables. We kickstarted our meal with the chicken satay which was so flavorful. Then, I got the kao soi (level 2 spice) and my fiance got the pad kee mao (level 2 spice), both of which are favorite Thai noodle dishes of ours. The pad kee mao was so delicious, and my kao soi was very warm and hearty though I would probably opt for level 1 spice next time (that's just me haha). For dessert, we tried their sweet sticky rice with mango which was perfect!

Thai Sausage

My go-to dish here is the Thai boat noodles. Its not on the menu but they always have it. The broth is sooooo flavorful and Rich. Plenty of sliced beef and beef meatballs in there that i always struggle to finish. The soup is served with a plate of bean sprouts and herbs. I like to put all of that in the bowl so that the heat can cook them. The Thai sausage is also super herby and flavorful. Just the right amount of complexity and snappy casing of the sausage makes it a very interesting mouth feel, in a good way. Came on a week night for dinner and the restaurant does a lot of takeout orders. Service was prompt and mostly it's older couples or family that eat there. Very fast casual, you don't need to dress up at all. I come here probably about once a month. Hits the spot every time!

Chicken Satay
Aqsa T.

My friend and I were obsessed with this place. We ate here about once a month and would have eaten here even more if we had the choice to. The older gentleman provides amazing service, has always been kind, and has even remembered us. The food is amazing, but when my friend and I came here last time we both had insane food poisoning. We were throwing up and having body aches for multiple days. It was a truly heartbreaking experience since we thought so highly of the restaurant. This type of food poisoning was unimaginable, with both of us completely unable to get out of bed unless it was to throw up. 2 starts because I love them, but also because that type of food poisoning HAS to be from some sort of negligence.

Crispy sea bass
RIZA L.

Service was fast and i like that they close late. We got the crispy sea bass which was good but was a little overcooked because there were parts that were too hard . The pad thai did not disappoint and it was a good size. But at the end of the meal on our tub we were charged for a red snapper and they said it was a misunderstanding and the manager had quickly fixed it so if you want the fish make sure you clarify what you want. Overall its still a good place to dine with decent food.

Hows the orange chicken?

I know this doesn't help, I've never their orange chicken, but everything else we've eaten at Saucy's has been amazing.

Are lunch prices for dine in only or also take out?

Either or. Best Thai in town!

Do you use MSG?

Yes.

How is the larb?

Fantastic

Can dishes be made vegetarian (no fish sauce, dried shrimp, etc)?

Yes! You can sub meat for tofu or veggies in a lot the dishes. The place is very vegetarian friendly.

Are there any gluten-free items on the menu? Can you cook with a gluten-free soy sauce instead of regular? Typically basil beef is my go to dish. I have not been here before.

Waiter said they can make noodle and rice entrees using no soy sauce. Just tell them you are gluten free.

The staff here are very sweet and helpful with questions about the menu and were not afraid to point out popular choices. For instance, I asked which of the dishes were best with roasted duck as the chosen protein. Our server indicated that the Basil Duck and the Duck Curry were the best and that the Duck Curry was more popular. So I chose that and my husband ordered the Thai Lo Mein with Beef and we split the Fresh Salad Rolls with added shrimp with peanut sauce. All of the items were amazing. The curry was unique and included added sweetness from pineapple and lychee. It was soooooooo good. The salad rolls were great with fresh peanut sauce. So nice with the added shrimp. My husband enjoyed the Thai Lo Mein. The decorations are tasteful and depict the Oceanic theme throughout. The restrooms and the restaurant were clean. Massaman curry was also really good and chock full of veggies! They also had many appetizers and drinks on Happy Hour which I believe went until 7 pm. I ordered the basil fried rice (spice level 2) and the pork fried crispy rolls. The spice level 2 gave the rice a subtle kick - noticeable but not overwhelming - which is just the way I like it. The basil fried rice was packed with egg, bamboo shoots, baby corn, mushrooms, bell peppers, white onions, fresh basil, and garlic. The flavors were balanced, and the portion size was VERY generous - this was way more than single meal for me. The crispy pork rolls were also very good. They were filled with pork, green onions, glass noodles, carrots, white onions, and cabbage, and served with a thin sweet & sour sauce that complemented them nicely without being too heavy. Even though I ordered them as an appetizer, they arrived midway through my meal, so not the best timing. The fountain machine wasn't working, so drinks were $2.50 for a can of soda with no refills. That felt a bit steep for a canned drink. I count that as a downside of the visit. Overall, the food was flavorful and generously portioned. With small improvements on the drink situation and meal timing, it could easily be a 5-star experience.

I ordered the chicken pad thai (spicy) and the Zaap combo set opting for the Zaap crispy wings with sticky rice. Located off the toll , Zaap is small inside so when it gets busy seems to be a more grab and go spot. I ordered online which was seamless and upon my arrival my food was ready and I was on my way. Everything looked good and was well packaged when I got home, I was genuinely excited to try. I made the perfect plate of pad thai, a couple wings, rice and papaya salad. The wing combo meal was my favorite. The wings were fresh, seasoned so well and I loved the garlic pieces/flakes on the wings, wished they added more honestly. The only critique is I wished the wings were actually crispy, they were kinda soft but I'd still get them again. Misses for me unfortunately was the chicken pad thai and papaya salad. I've never had pad thai before so I didn't really know what to expect but I didn't care for it overall. My biggest issue was the texture of the noodles and it was somewhat bland, the chili oil I got did help some but between the noodle texture, sparse chicken and it being lightly sauced, I wasn't a fan. Papaya salad again is new for me and just wasn't my thing, it was spiced to my specification but nothing about the flavor appealed to me sadly and I really wanted to enjoy it. I will say, portion sizes of everything was great, all my food was piping hot and customer service was good so I would come back for the wings and just try something else out.
