    ZAAP Combo Set

I've been yelping for some papaya salad around me then this place pop up. I'm so glad they have a combo meal so I don't have to get a whole order of the salad. The combo consists of 5 huge! crispy garlic wings, papaya salad (level of spice to your liking) and a choice of jasmine or sticky rice. The food came out hot and fresh. I got the salad with medium spice and sticky rice. It's the perfect spice and the perfect crunch for both salad and wings. Service is fast and casual counter service. They also have a pad the get your order in if talking that day is not your thing. :/

I'd call this place a hidden gem--the quality of the food deserves far more attention. The basil dish, fried rice, and curry fried rice were all outstanding and packed with flavor. The space is on the smaller side, so dining in feels quite intimate, but that's a small trade-off for such a delicious meal. If you're looking for a truly flavorful Thai experience, this spot is well worth a visit.

Small place but this small place serves food packed with flavor. It's a fast casual Lao and Thai spot. Ordered the combo Dancing Garlic Riblets which came with a choice of jasmine or sticky rice and papaya salad that you can customize the level of spice. Prepare your senses cause medium spicy has a whole lot of kick to it. Service is average, it's a counter ordering so really nothing to write about it. Food came out hot fresh and decent amount for the price. Definitely worth trying.

This has easily one of our go to fast casual thai spots! My husband initially brought home some leftovers after a work lunch and I had been craving their pad thai ever since. I do think the pad thai was a little sweeter than I would have wanted the second time around but still delicious! We also got an order for their wings. The price for the wings seems steep for 5 wings but the flavor and cook of the wings were really good! I also had a thai tea that i think needed a little more sweetness. The employees here are super nice but the store front is small so it seems like it'll be mainly take out and not dine in.

I ordered the pad see ew with tofu, and it was delicious! I love Thai food, so it's not difficult for me to enjoy it. The only reason why I gave a 4/5 stars is because the food was salty, and I got a spice level of 3 out of 5 and it wasn't spicy at all. The place was very clean, and I think it's a common place to do take-out rather than dine-in, so there were a lot of empty tables. There's also plenty of parking spaces. The cashier was very nice and brought our food, and my friend and I didn't have to wait long for our food. It's a good Thai restaurant, and I think you'll enjoy it

Tried their lunch menu of Lao Chicken Noodle Soup and Shrimp Pad Thai. Taste good. Serving is small. Serving Staff is helpful. Well lighted and clean restaurant. Lots of parking space.

Our team went for lunch, really good. The Lao sausage is a must try and the papaya salad is also good. When they ask you what heat 1-5... be conservative lol

While running errands I had come across this restaurant, ZAAP Kitchen Lao & Thai Street Eats, I had ordered the Thai favorites combo, and meatballs on the side. The combo included papaya salad, sausage, and sticky rice, which all was good, but I could tell the sticky rice was reheated, and not so fresh. The meatballs were good as well, overall everything was good, I'd just say the proportions were a bit on the small side, especially with the sticky rice, so I had to order extra, but good for a single person serving. I also liked the convenience of a kiosk to order off of, and the fast customer service. I would recommend this restaurant to those looking for some quick Thai food to eat.

Loved this place! Randomly stopped in and was yummy and authentic. Wanna try more items. Got the fried rice, ribs and riblets and we were full and satisfied

Food is amazing! The portion is great too. We went for lunch and there was not a lot people, so it was a good quiet place to have lunch. Thai iced coffee is alittle on the sweeter side. I got level 5 spicy and it was perfect, SPICY but doesn't lose the flavor of the main dish.

I love ZAAP Kitchen!! I've been to the one of the Dallas locations a lot and I typically get fried rice or curry. The yellow curry is truly the best curry I've ever had. It's packed with such a depth of flavour and I love it so much. You can typically get your food within 5-10 minutes and everything is always so delicious and fresh. ZAAP is pretty casual and always in a sucky parking lot. There is not much seating so be prepared for that if it's busy. But nonetheless, I'm so glad we have one in Plano now. I definitely recommend!

I don't believe the restaurant has been open long. A sign on the door offered employment. Inside a professional photographer was shooting pictures of the restaurant's food, for advertising or the menus. The restaurant is small inside, set up to mostly accommodate to go orders. We did to go. Order at the counter. Friendly service. We had the Khao Poon-Chicken and the Basil Fried Rice (w/shrimp). The menu is online, so check it out. Neither meal was especially outstanding. Both skimped on the protein. Not much shrimp and not much chicken. The small amount of chicken in the Khao Poon-Chicken was tough not especially good tasting. Coconut and chili paste flavor was present in the broth. I got a heat level 3 (1-5) it was very mild. One and done. Not Recommended.

Not sure...should have been Thai fried rice

The staff here are very sweet and helpful with questions about the menu and were not afraid to point out popular choices. For instance, I asked which of the dishes were best with roasted duck as the chosen protein. Our server indicated that the Basil Duck and the Duck Curry were the best and that the Duck Curry was more popular. So I chose that and my husband ordered the Thai Lo Mein with Beef and we split the Fresh Salad Rolls with added shrimp with peanut sauce. All of the items were amazing. The curry was unique and included added sweetness from pineapple and lychee. It was soooooooo good. The salad rolls were great with fresh peanut sauce. So nice with the added shrimp. My husband enjoyed the Thai Lo Mein. The decorations are tasteful and depict the Oceanic theme throughout. The restrooms and the restaurant were clean. We were very impressed and would definitely return!

I ordered the basil fried rice (spice level 2) and the pork fried crispy rolls. The spice level 2 gave the rice a subtle kick - noticeable but not overwhelming - which is just the way I like it. The basil fried rice was packed with egg, bamboo shoots, baby corn, mushrooms, bell peppers, white onions, fresh basil, and garlic. The flavors were balanced, and the portion size was VERY generous - this was way more than single meal for me. The crispy pork rolls were also very good. They were filled with pork, green onions, glass noodles, carrots, white onions, and cabbage, and served with a thin sweet & sour sauce that complemented them nicely without being too heavy. Even though I ordered them as an appetizer, they arrived midway through my meal, so not the best timing. The fountain machine wasn't working, so drinks were $2.50 for a can of soda with no refills. That felt a bit steep for a canned drink. I count that as a downside of the visit. Overall, the food was flavorful and generously portioned. With small improvements on the drink situation and meal timing, it could easily be a 5-star experience.
