Ambiance: The restaurant is a casual counter order eatery. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant, but it is going to be tough if you have a party of 5 or larger. The restaurant gets pretty busy Saturday evening. Service: The staff were really friendly, and went above and beyond by checking in to see when to start cooking the dessert, HK styled French Toast. Food: I texted the menu to my parents and they agreed that the menu is pretty authentic to what you may find in a HK styled cafe back in Hong Kong! There were plenty of HK dishes you can't find typically here in DFW. For those that are less adventurous, they have a whole Chinese American menu!

We ordered the green onion pork chop over rice, stir fried flat noodle with beef, salted lemon soda, Yuen Yeung, and tofu pudding, and everything was great. The green onion pork chop rice was flavorful and comforting. The pork chop was tender and well seasoned, and the scallion soy sauce soaked beautifully into the rice. Simple and satisfying, exactly what you want from a classic HK café dish. The standout was the stir fried flat noodle with beef. It came out piping hot with steam rising, and the texture was spot on. The noodles were perfectly chewy without being greasy or clumped together, and the beef was tender with that subtle smoky wok hei flavor. You can tell it was cooked fresh, and that heat and texture really made the dish shine. The salted lemon soda was bright and refreshing, while the Yuen Yeung was strong and smooth with that classic Hong Kong milk tea and coffee combo kick. The tofu pudding had an authentic Hong Kong flavor. Served warm with a light ginger sugar syrup, it was silky smooth, delicate, and not overly sweet, bringing back that nostalgic HK dessert shop vibe. If you're craving classic Hong Kong cha chaan teng comfort food, this place absolutely hits the spot. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and it feels like a true neighborhood spot. We will be back.

Great place for Asian fusion cuisine with a heavy Hong Kong vibe. The noodles are great and the hot and sour soup is one of the best I've had. Definitely worth checking out. Good portions and reasonable prices.

I've heard great things about Chasu and I finally made it there! We went for an early dinner around 4 p.m. on a Saturday. The place was half full. The interior has a cool street food vibe, and it's half self-serve. You get utensils, water, plates, and the food delivery and cleanup is taken care of by the staff. There's plenty of seating. We ordered and paid up front right when we came in, got a number, and were told to sit ourselves. The ordering area is a bit cramped, and it felt a bit rushed since it was our first time and we were expecting a sit-down-and-order style. We ordered what felt like basically everything from their Hong Kong-style menu. The food came out pretty quickly, except for the baked pork chops, but it was totally worth the wait. Needless to say, everything was delicious. We especially loved the Stir Fried Flat Noodle with Beef and the Fried Wings with Garlic Butter Sauce. The main points to note were that the meat was super tender, not too salty, and well-flavored. In fact, I had such a great experience here that I ordered the flat noodles and wings again on DoorDash a week later!

You know a place is legit when the majority of the diners are Asian. It's always a good sign! This spot didn't disappoint. The process is simple: you order at the counter, find a seat, and they'll bring your food out to you. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Somewhere I saw a picture of the Kimchi Fried rice. At the restaurant it was no longer on the menu. I asked. The server said they could make it for me. Thank you, it was fantastic. My wife had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. She loved it. Excellent service. Fast food type setup. Order at the counter, from house assembled selections or make your own combination. A very bright attractively decorated restaurant.

I have always seen this place and never thought it would be that good. This place will sneak up on you, it's Perfect!!! Food and service Only complaint would be that there AC was off because it was to hot in there. Besides that I will be a regular here for sure.

Delish!! What a nice treat to find tonight. We tried some bowls but will definitely be back to try more soon. Portion sizes are great. Veggies very fresh. You can watch the cooks at the grill if you want to. Sauce was yummy. Workers were efficient and polite...we came in close to closing time but they didn't seem terribly bothered. Restrooms and seating area was all very clean. Thank you Chasu

Enjoyed the tofu bowl-it so much flavor and felt light. Staff are friendly and the menu serves most dietary needs. We ordered a bunch of things and loved everything.

All I have to say is the beef bulgogi and the amount of flavor that is in that dish will make me a repeat customer for the end of time. Staff is always very helpful and delightful to talk to the location has great parking. It gives you a street Thai food feel with the decor inside. I haven't had one dish from them that was not good. Overall this is always a repeat location for me.

One of the very best Chinese food in North Dallas. It has a touch of Hong Kong style, and you definitely would feel like home here.

As we were waiting, we noticed that 4-5 tables were done eating and paid their bills. All got up and left, the staff quickly cleaned the tables. The cleaned tables were empty for another 15 minutes. The lady that took our names down took a while to call the next customers. Seems like we were waiting just to wait...she sat one party down and waited another 10 minute to sit the next group... anyways, after we waited for a good 40 minutes, we were finally called to be seated. Sat down and was immediately served with water and took our order down. Time for the food review: Chicken popcorn - nice crisp and texture, but lacking flavor. Felt like it needed a dipping sauce. Pork lard rice - disappointing, bland Pork intestine with green mustard - this dish was okay.. Crispy garlic salted fish - fish was nicely fried and flavor was good. Probably the best dish so far Crispy pork chop - this is the reason why we came here.. we wanted to find a dish like May Ice cream. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The pork chop was extremely salted. From the skin to the pork itself. Walnut shrimp - this dish was foul. Who puts sprinkles on the side?! Tasted like I was eating an ice cream shop. The shrimp was also dry. Overall, not worth going and waiting. Food was lacking.

Came during the soft opening in September 2025 with excited expectations based on what we've heard, hoping to find a new go to Taiwanese spot. Unfortunately we didn't find what we were looking for. I admit this was the soft opening and things may improve, and for their sake I hope they do. Biggest issues for us were lack of flavor in the meat and multiple proteins being overcooked. The sauces they used had the flavor but it seems like the meat just wasn't given the time to marinate because the meat itself was bland. That coupled with proteins being a bit dry from being overcooked and you don't have a good combo. If they can tweak their prep process to let the meat marinate then it would solve most of the problems though. The best dish was the fried pork chop rice by far. A bit on the sweeter side so it just depends on how you like it. The bok choy it came with was basically raw though had more crunch than the pork chop. Service was also a mixed bag. The server was super nice and helped give us recs but it just seemed like they were still getting the hang of working in a restaurant. A glass of water got some food in it so the server took it away but they never brought us a new one. Again, soft opening so I give that some grace, but food has to be more on point for a new restaurant to make it. So all in all, there are definitely some kinks to work through for them. Normally I wouldn't write a review for soft opening but given that there are old reviews here plus food quality missed the mark more than I think it should've, I think people on Yelp should get a heads up.
